First time coming here. Needed a place to grab some food since I was in the area and thankfully this place was right off the highway. There's plenty of parking and wasn't busy at all. It's easier to go up front than to play with the electronic Kiosk so you can pay cash. They still have the McChicken deals which are my favorite go too. Store is modern with friendly staff, moderate service. Very quiet establishment too with not many people present at all. Even the drive thru was quiet. Got the food and receipt only to look at the receipt 2 days later and find that I was charged for someone elses meal totaling ~$40...confirmed via my cc statement. the person at the counter acted like taking my order was an inconvenience She just stared at me until I told her I wanted to place an order. She didn't say a word, not even a thank you after I placed my order. My 4 year old dropped his barbecue sauce under the table and when I went to pick it up, (to throw it away) I saw how filthy the floor was. Disappointing. McDongles is quite frankly a very consistent fast food restaurant. But let me tell you, this one does not live up to that. From the lackluster and tedious pace of the work staff, to the completely disappointing large fries I order, I was left unsatisfied by my one dollar coupon large fries. Ownership is failing their team. Placed a mobile order for walk in service. Waited 30 minutes without getting my food. At least three counter orders placed about 10 minutes after me received their food. Asked to cancel my order and the staff was unable to do so locally. Now left with the task of calling a national number to get refunded. Local long time customer. Won't be back in this store for a long time. read more

0 stars!!! My husband ordered a LARGE sweet tea with LIGHT ice. The guy taking the order put medium on the screen and my husband then corrected him and assured that he heard correctly and it was a LARGE sweet tea not medium. The worker then confirmed it was LARGE. We got to the pick up window and received a medium sweet tea, we let them know we got a LARGE sweet tea, light ice and they got the large but pur 5lbs of ice and one drop of sweet tea. Worst McDonalds in AmericA, the only consistency is that they always mess up your order. If you go through drive thru, you'll be circling back in to get the rest of your order. If your lucky you'll get a snarky manager who will treat you like you're trying to scam them out of whatever they left out of the bag. I've had the same experience inside messing up every order. Bulldoze, Fire everyone,and start over..... it's a running joke w my family anytime we go "what will be left out?" On the bright side Burger King just opened up across the street. read more

This by far is the best McDonalds I have ever visited. We stopped here while driving to Indianapolis due to needing a restroom stop for the kiddos. When we got inside we were blown away by how nice and clean this location was and decided to grab a quick bite. The staff working here was extremely polite, and either the manager or owner was delivering the food and making sure the restaurant was clean. You got a general sense that the staff really liked each other and enjoyed working at this location, and the employee appreciation board by the napkins showed that management really cares about their employees. If you live around this location, or are making the drive out to Indianapolis and need a quick bite, I highly recommend this location. read more

Nicely remodeled and outside grounds are well taken care of. Food was good and hot, BUT...a ton of teenagers behind the counter doing absolutely NOTHING....yes it was somewhat slow when we stopped in, but the dinning room was somewhat a mess Food or wrappers on every empty table. Napkins were out. Soda area a mess. More telling of the mgr than the teen workers. They need to be directed to constantly be cleaning, instead standing around doing nothing. I get breakfast from here every morning, 3 days in a row i've had a bad experience, 2 being just from very slow service even when they are not that busy, but today they didn't give me any hot sauce. I believe this is the best McDonald's I have ever been to! We travel 74 a lot passing through Batesville and frequently stopping at this exit. Normally we would just breeze through the drive-thru. The restaurant is CLEAN, staff is as friendly as you will get anywhere and the eggs are perfect. Seems they have a HUGE regular customer base, all the employees know most customers by name. This use to be a decent McDonalds, but over past few years the service has been very inconsistent. We frequently get wrong orders. Just recent stopped in to get breakfast to take home and the drink orders were completely wrong. The hot chocolate ordered ended up being just hot milk. Not sure the reason behind the poor service but very disappointing. read more

First of all Randall G. Is ignorant. No one expects McDonalds to equivalent to Mortons or Ruth Chris. It is unfair to give any establishment a rating if you haven't graced them with your presence. The rating should be compared to other fast food restaurants. Now that I am off my soap box, this place is clean and very efficient. Guess altogether this is sometime a well run McDonalds... but don't go there after about 9 or 10 at night because they refuse to hire enough people to keep the drive through wait to a reasonable time. The cashier tells me not enough people are inside to deliver large orders to people who normally would be pulled over to a wait spot. One of the BEST McDonalds I have ever been to!!!! Nothing negative to say! Pleace your order with friendly staff, take a number-they bring your food to your table!!!! If anything is wrong or forgotten, they will bring t to you. They even go around to tables with a coffee ot to top off your coffee. Food is always hot and their biscuits and gravy is wonderful! Unlike other McD's (Greensburg), Batesville will cover your biscuits with gravy!!!! And every orning when we get there, they are ourside picking up trash and washing down the sidewalks and parking lot! One of the cleanest, also! Eat here---you will not be sorry!! read more
