The young man working the first window yesterday morning (12/20) did not want to help me at all. This is not the first time, and why I'm writing this review. Your computers were down so I was told to wait a few minutes, but I already had an order code from the app. I drove up to his window to try to tell him but he just waved his hands at me and walked away. The employees are amazing smiles every time we show up not rude no attitude nice very professional and there fast they get your order and your in and out in no time and when your running late but hungry for whatever reason thats a plus cant say enough about the employees and the food always good and the managers totally awesome if you have any problems no matter if its a little one they will go out of there way to make it right ,,,,, "but" theres always a but right lol , i only have just one criticism the chicken no matter what we order with chicken the chicken seems to be always over cooked tuff and very dry but anyway the only complaint the chicken everything else no matter what we really really good but these a really good business so much better then like 10 years ago i don't no what caused the change but i love that they did thanks guys and thank you managers you guys and ladies are awesome read more

First of all, our food took at least 15 minutes after we ordered, and there also were workers that kept leaving over and over again, and at one point we tried to order and 2 employees were just having a conversation without even acknowledging me. There were also many people behind me. They all kept leaving to either go smoke, or use the restroom which was odd. Not to mention one employee was very strange and It seemed like she was on crack or something. Also there was a methhead in the restroom, and they took an hour in there, and were still in there when we left, and the employees did not care when we told them. Sometimes there aren't many off-hours options open around here (Mondays! Evenings!), but this McD's is consistently excellent. Hot fries, friendly staff, and an extra drive-thru window! I am sympathetic to the bad ratings, we'd been here years ago, and it wasn't great. But they've really gotten it together. read more

The lines have two ways in to order, but only one way out and it's so disorganized that we will never go back. I don't know what's going on at this McDonald's but holy hell. The lady doing the payment window I could tell was high off her rocker. She asked "what?" About four times when I said a large portion of my order was missing. She then gave me part of SOMEONE ELSE'S order. Omg the cashier seemed like she was very very high or something. She was going extremely slow. She asked us three times for the order bc she couldn't comprehend it. After finally being able to pay she then only charged us for 3 drinks even though we told her 4. We were hungry on our travel back home. So we stopped for a quick drive thru. Our two Egg McMuffins came hot, our two hash browns were warm, but our most expensive purchase, their Bacon Egg & Cheese McGriddle without the cheese should have been the freshest, as it was a special order. Love to stop here for breakfast when we are in Blue Ridge especially when we are heading home. Always good service and food is fresh and hot. Mask use among customers was non-existent and the staff was masked and gloved except the man working drive in window and another guy working in the back, don't think he was a cook. Manager was doing a good job assisting the drive in and counter but her cellphone rang and she picked it up, scrolled and then said something to a co-worker. Unfortunately she didn't change her gloves after touching the cell phone. In her defense all the food she handled was wrapped and she also added a napkin before she picked up! Manager has a piss poor attitude. When we complained about the lack of carbonation in the sodas, he refused to believe us, saying they had just checked it an hour ago. I've tried coming to this location a few times over the past 5 years. The first thing I noticed is that the inside has rarely looked clean. The soda machines have often been out of order. There is usually something missing from the order. The last time I went through the drive thru, it was missing a drink. I noticed it after I started pulling past the window, so I ended up stopping at a gas station to get the missing drink. Today, my child wanted nuggets, so I gave it another chance. I ordered nuggets with apples, but every drink I asked for with the Happy Meal, the response was, "We are out of that." Then I decided to order a grilled chicken sandwich, but they didn't have those. I'm not sure if the menu changed or if they were out. So, I asked for a cheeseburger and a side salad. She said that they were also out of side salads. I understand menu changes. I didn't see the grilled chicken sandwich advertised on the menu, I just remembered that they used to make them and was looking for a healthier option. To be out of so many things is an issue. This seems to be happening quite a bit in the fast food restaurants. It not that a person expects the highest quality of foods, but this is a sign of mismanagement. If something comes up where you have a shipping concern that impacts what's offered on the menu (or an ordering mistake), it seems that the best thing to do is put out some kind of notice near the menu that says, "Due to a delay in shipment, we are out of the following items: ". Don't let your customers have to search and search for something else only to hear, "We are out of that too." Post it somewhere clearly and it will make it less stressful for customers and the employee. If you have a short staff, consider closing the dining area for a set off-peak time for cleaning to take place with a notice posted on the door. "Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are cleaning the restaurant so that your experience will be a positive one. Thanks for your patience!" There are solutions to these problems. On the plus side, the food we did get was good. The nuggets were a bit dry, but otherwise fine. The lady with the purple hair and glasses was pleasant. read more

Would give no stars if that was possible. This is for the night shift only for tonight Tuesday June 18th 2019. Pulled up to drive thru one truck in front of me. When I pulled up I was asked to wait a few mins. Waited nearly 5 mins before she finally asked me what I would like. I had a rather big order. Order number 1271. 6pc chicken nugget Happy meal w/ apples, fries, sweet tea. The 2 for $5 Quarter pounder sandwich and a 10 PC nugget. 4 McChickens, the 2 cheeseburger meal with Dr. Pepper and an Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich (no sauce, mayo instead). Pulled to first window. Before she got the money from me I heard her tell the ppl behind me who were in the first and second lane to please hold for a few mins. I finally pay and she gave me the change. I pull to the next window and sit for about 3-4 mins before anyone came to the window. He asked me if I had been given my drinks. I said no. He asked which ones and I verified. He then made them and handed them to me. 3 more mins go by and another guy comes and asks if I am the big order and had I received my drinks. I said yes and yes. He said ok it will be a few more mins. By then there are 3+ cars behind me. Finally after another 5-6 mins the second guy hands me the Happy meal and one bag and says to wait a moment on the last bag. He finally brings it. I am looking in the bags to make sure the nugget sauce is in the bag and Happy meal. He just stares at me. I asked if the honey mustard was in Happy meal he said should be. But then I noticed the apples were not in there. So he got them and was polite and said have a good night. I live about 8 mins away. I got home and divided the food out. Gave my husband his quarter pounder and nuggets and med fry. My daughter the two cheeseburger meal. She took one fry and ate it then said eww these taste grows! I looked at them and they had black all over them like pepper? My husband are one and said the same thing about his fries. Then ate a bite of a nugget and said they were stale. I called the store and the girl told me the oil needed to be changed and the reason there was black on them is from the hashbrowns etc that was floating in the oil! She said they would refund the money for those items. She said she wrote my name down and the fries and nuggets down to be refunded. I hung up. But then my husband opened the Q. Pounder and found that it had the small onions and a little bit of ketchup but no pickle, and not the big sliced onion. I took a picture of everything. I called back and when I said I had just called I was put on hold for 4-5 mins before the girl I originally spoke to finally came to the phone. She apologized and said they were out of sliced onion is why they put the small diced but that what goes on the burger should have been put on it. That she would add it to what needed to be refunded. We hung up. My husband said maybe I just need to take it all back to them so they can see it all, in the morning when the manager would be there. So I tried to call again to ask if I should do that. It rang and rang no one came to the phone and I called 7 times in a row. So I can only guess that they saw it was me and didn't answer. But to give them the benefit of the doubt..I will say they may have been busy. Nothing seemed right except the McChickens, and the Happy meal..which I'm glad I checked before leaving about the apples not being in there. Over all very unsatisfactory and after the second call by the girls attitude..you could def tell she didn't want to talk to me. The morning crew is always friendly and nice. They always have everything made fresh to order and right! So go in the morning is all I can suggest. Sorry for the long review. But we are not happy about this at all. I went to McDonald's one day and got medium fries. I had to squeeze out all the greasy oil from them because it was so oily. Later that week I learned that a guy used all the oil from the fries for fuel for his car. It really grossed me out. There is more. For their "chicken" the ingredients is animal brain, skin, bones etc. Do you want to eat there now? Hopefully not. read more

Last evening around 9:30pm my wife and I stopped in to grab a bite after being at the hospital. We were both so disappointed by not only the quality of our food which was not fresh but of the staff and condition of the building. Young people lingering at the front counter talking with staff, a kid sitting on the counter no parents in sight, a bad spill in the main walkway, a bucket and mop with dirty water right by the door, and all the tables dirty. We will probably not revisit this location but go to one of the other resturants in the area. Sad that a new building of only a few years looked so bad. I suggest evening inspections and retraining of evening staff and management. On a good note the morning staff and coffee are the best. read more

Took my order for 6 breakfast burritos for my family. I pull up to pay and she says there will be a short 3-5 minute wait because they have to roll the burritos. I pull up to the food window and see about 4 cars in front of me all waiting for food. The girl at the window tells me to pull into a regular parking spot since all of the the drive they spots are now full. I ask how long she thinks it's going to be now that I realize how many cars are waiting for food in front of me. She proceeds to snarkly tell me "I don't know, after the 3 cars in front of you". How in the heck do you let your drive thru back up like this and not warn your customers before they order and get stuck in line waiting. On top of all of that, they were rude and condescending. This service at this McDonalds is terrible, and that's already taking into consideration that this is a McDonalds. Not the first time I have had issues here. This is the worst McDonalds I've ever eaten in. And I've been eating in them for almost 60 years. Because it's the only one in town I keep hoping for improvement. It's always a mess and for the most part the staff is not well trained and certainly not customer service oriented. Over a week ago I asked for the McRib and it was served on a Quarter pounder bun...didn't fit. Tried again today and they said they had no McRib buns OR Quarter pounder buns! I asked why not and she said they didn't want to order them.?.? The McDonald App coupons never work and you have to catch the error yourself. They always blame it on my phone. I'm using their app and their reader! About 3 weeks ago I took back a fish sandwich that looked like a toddler had assembled it. The cheese barely touched the fish and the fish barely touched either bun and I think the tartar sauce did touch one of the buns. I don't know who owns this franchise but they don't seem to care. We stopped on the way out of town to drive home for 6 hours. Ordered hot fudge sundaes with extra hot fudge, which we LOVE. But, we found the "hot fudge" to instead be cold hershey syrup! NOT the same thing! I can't believe McD's corporate would tolerate this substitution, so I tried to call the restaurant, but got only a fax machine to answer. So, I complained on the 800 number. I stopped through at about 5 this morning for some breakfast. The woman that took my order sounded kind and appealing, but the woman at the window was quite the opposite. When I reached the window, she didn't say a single word to me she just stuck her hand out. I guessed she was waiting for a payment so I handed her my debit card. I watched her as she walked all the way across the restaurant to the dine in registers and rang up my order there and slid the card at that register. I'm not sure why this was necessary, but she did. She then returned to the window, made a disgruntled face and made her way BACK to the dine in register. To slide my card for a second time. I guess the second time it took because she returned to the window, handed me my card back without another word. A moment later she handed out my food. No receipt, not a single word spoken, no name, nothing. Needless to say I will be checking my transaction record to make sure I was only charged the $2.33 it should have been. Now onto the food... my hash brown tasted as if it had been sitting out since midnight and the sausage in my mcmuffin had such an off flavor that I couldn't even eat it.
