The establishment has kept the same charm it had when it was called the Daily Grind. It's still pretty much a fixture on Main Street. Parking is not easy. The Buchannon Tudor's is adjacent to 33 and is in the Walmart parking lot Expect counter service at this diner, and that is not a bad thing. All of the ladies employed greeted us with smiles and interest in our experience. In our view, the biscuits are large and very good; the gravy could have much more sausage. We were struct about how clean and nice this Tudor's appeared (this is Not the case for all Tudor's.) I asked if this were a new restaurant, and the server responded that this Tudor's was built in 1980s. There are several photos of WV's Senator Byrd on the walls. Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia was not related to the prominent Byrd political family of Virginia. Despite sharing a surname, they came from entirely different backgrounds. Lots of folks were enjoying a nice lunch, and more than a few offered prayers prior to breaking bread.
