Our first time visiting this place because we've heard good reviews. The doughnuts are good btw, but we were standing in line, waiting to order from their case and somehow another customer jumps in front of us, which threw me off paying attention to the gal filling our order. I was pointing to chocolate covered filled ones in their case as the girl is filling our order from a cart behind the register. Finally the gal remembers we wanted some chocolate Bavarian cream filled ones ( the lady that jumped in front of us took the last two from the case) so she runs to another door to get those, as we were getting ready to walk out. Growing up in the Northeast I was lucky to have two fresh made donut shops in our small town. Times changed and those shops grew and they sent out their donuts to bake with others. Stopped in for the first time yesterday. I got two donuts to go. My only mistake was buying two and driving off to get somewhere nicer to eat them. The donuts here are delicious. No wonder there was a line for the drive-thru. The location is not nice and the service wasn't friendly. However I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area. DELICIOUS! Visited late afternoon and there were still plenty of choices. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The strawberry filled donuts were SO good. No shops in Virginia sell them anymore and I was hoping with that first bite, they would be amazing...and they were. Light dough with plenty of powder outside and lots of filling inside. Great tasting filling as well. Very fresh. We went back before heading home and bought a second dozen to go. We also tried the sugared, chocolate glazed, frosted, and plain glazed. I was really excited because everyone on here hyped up the pepperoni rolls and donuts. My family road-tripped to West Virginia to see if we could find fun things to do, so we were excited when we decided to go to Buckhannon, thinking it was a cute little town. This seemed like the only place worth going to that we could find. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't anything special. The pepperoni roll was just some ground pepperoni on a store bought roll with some cheese. I expected a baked cheesy roll with full slices of pepperoni, but I basically got a hot pocket instead of the delicious rolls other reviews promised. The donuts were good, but I've had donuts that were just as good at Dunkin Donuts. I'd take Krispy Kreme over donut shop any day. If you're planning on road-tripping to West Virginia, know that there's not much to do here. It's mostly just a run-down suburbia with little to do. I don't mean to be cynical, but the experience was forgettable after being hyped up by the reviews. I'm not sure what other people were thinking.
