Stopped in for a quick lunch. My wife and I went with the chicken biscuits. I had the spicy chicken biscuit and my wife had the honey butter chicken biscuit. Both were delicious. The next time, however, I think I might go with the honey butter because the spicy hot was really spicy hot. I went with an iced mocha coffee and my wife went with the hot mocha coffee. They were also pretty good and quite frankly, I was glad I went with the iced since my biscuit was so spicy. Service was good. Employees were friendly. The establishment has kept the same charm it had when it was called the Daily Grind. It's still pretty much a fixture on Main Street. Parking is not easy. The entrance and the restrooms are handicap access accessible. A selection of regional beers are also available. read more

We stopped in during on what I would think may be one of their busiest days of the year, the Saturday of the Strawberry festival. This was our first time in town and what a fun day to experience the atmosphere. Service was quick despite the extremely long line. We kept it simple with coffee and matcha. Both were great. Hands down the best cafe in West Virginia and I've been to all of them. The service is always great and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Their beer selection is vast and constantly changing throughout the year and seasons. Their coffee is my favorite. I love their wide variety of specialty lattes. Top notch! I've been here a lot over the years and I have to say I've never had a single thing here that wasn't absolutely amazing. Their vegan tacos are so good they will make you question why you even eat meat in the first place. Ask my girlfriend and my many friends I have recommended them too who cannot believe they are vegan. I also love their chips and queso, superb! The whole environment of this place will make you feel happy and want to stay for hours. Trust me I have numerous times over the years. Not very educated on celiac disease, I ordered the gluten free fries and grilled cheese, The eating area has dim lighting so I couldn't see that they were beer battered until I had already consumed some. I found this hip cool place by suggestion of a friend. My enthusiasm for craft beer brought me here on this day. As soon as you open the door that has a wrench made into a handle you know your in for a treat. The place is small and narrow but it packs a punch. There is a decent seating area for small or larger groups that has that coffeehouse feel. There is a nice bar to belly up to and enjoy your brew. That is where I decided to enjoy my stay. The decor is a splendid mix of brew and coffee with hand crafted art. Don't worry about asking what they have to drink. Large chalkboards display the coffee and speciality coffee, and other flavored drink choices. Two wide screen tv's display the beer on tap and an extensive menu of bottle and draft. There is a cold case with a verity of drinks. The rear wall proudly displays merch and coffee beans you can purchase at reasonable prices. I bought two tulip beer glasses and a 32oz growler. I tried four beers on tap as a flight and had a can beer with my meal. I ordered the Pineapple bbq pulled pork sandwich served with pickled jalapeños and red cabbage on a Chibatta bun. The flavors were great. The jalapeño provided a nice cut to the subtly sweet bbq. Kettle chips were served on the side. The service was top notch. My bartender/waitress was on her game taking orders, filling beers, making coffee, and closing out tickets. She was knowledgeable about the beer which is a plus when it comes to craft. I watched her whip up some mean coffee drinks for people as well. If you are in Buchannon you have got to give this place a visit. You will leave wanting to come back. read more

The pork carnitas tacos were excellent & the queso sauce was a favorite is the whole meal and was even good on our breakfast bagel sandwich! They're iced Nutella mocha was amazing!! I'd never tried macadamia nut milk before and I was pleasantly surprised! My husband had the apple cider and liked it so much we went back for another - and some dessert which the drumstick cheesecake sounded amazing but the carrot cake scone I couldn't pass up.
