Absolutely horrible. Ordered THREE meals, and said what sauces we'd like with our meals, and they gave us TWO SAUCES. Then we ask for more and they told us they'd have to charge us. EXCUSE ME?! Then said you only get sauces with nuggets, but other than that, you have to pay for extra. So I guess you're expected to eat your French fries with no sauce. Absolutely ridiculous and would rather drive extra to go to a better McDonalds. The employees and managers are rude too. If I could give 0 stars I would :-) read more

Terrible service, mid food. We got to the second window and we didn't even hear a word from the girl, instead she just handed us our food and giggled away with her coworker. And i know she wasn't listening because when i asked her for one strawberry and one grape jelly, she handed me two grape, then rolled her eyes when i asked for a strawberry jelly too. Ordered my meal and went through the drive through. When I got to the window they handed me drinks and fries and was asked to pull forward and wait so I did. Then the lady brought me the nuggets. and I looked in the bag and saw no sauce. I asked politely for the sauce. so she went inside and the manager came out with sauce. Put them behind his back and said I put sauce in your bag. I said no you didn't. He said yes I didn't your not looking hard enough. I dug in the bag while he watched me, so after that I told him to screw off and I left. The thing is. They mess up on our orders all the time. we get home and see dang they forgot this. It's ok people mess up but then when u just ask for some dang sauce that u paid for they do this. Not to be confused with MurkDonald's which is a much murkier, darker, creepier restaurant than this one. The drive-thru line was impossible to naviagte, so we went inside for our fries. Service is actually pretty nice, surprisingly. A lot of McDs aren't, but the rural ones can be better and this definitely lives up to that stereotype. The fries were okay and at least they were hot. That's what I ask for, and often don't get, when I order McD fries. This is a very popular McDonald's in the middle of nowhere, and it's probably so popular because this town doesn't have that much in the way of anything really, much less restaurants or even chains, so guess it was always going to be the centre and life and party of the town, and it feels like it is, which is a good thing. And that actually makes me like it a lot more than I would in a regular McDonalds. Plus my fries were good. read more

Visited today at 11:15 am placed an order using a deal from the app then asked for a second nugget bundle and Big Mac. I usually order on the screen but my boyfriend hates it says it's takes longer. Paid and didn't think much of the total checked our order to see she didn't ring the second bundle but only a 20 count nugget. Instead of a sorry or them just giving us the fries or at least a large the manager made her charge me for the basket so I ended up paying close to $1for something that is usually around $10 read more

Every time I pass through this town while on my way to Houston, I stop here. Each experience has been great, and customer service has been wonderful. I must admit that I love McDonald's; however, I wish they would bring their salads back and healthier options. Nonetheless, my kids love McDonald's, and this one has always been great to us. read more

Standard McDonalds. You get what you expect, as you expect it, when you expect it and served as you expect. Right down the fareway for a quick meal (aka, fast food). The thing to be aware of is that it is trippingly hard to get into and out of. Well, not hard - but you are penalized if you are a newbie to the set up. Easiest entry is when you are driving North (or is that East?) on 21 and just about the only way to exit is South (or is that East?) on 36. Let your GPS save you from there. read more

This is the only Mcdonald's in my small town, Caldwell, Texas. I go there often, almost every other day. They get SO MANY orders wrong!!! They've put onions, tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, and mustard on a burger that was supposed to have mayo, cheese, and extra pickles ONLY. They put lettuce on my spicy chicken when I asked for none, and gave my NO cheese when they CHARGED ME FOR CHEESE. They also gave my friend a regular chicken sandwich with no mayo when she asked for a SPICY chicken sandwich with extra mayo. These people have given me carbonated water because the soda flavoring was out. So sorry Mcdonald's but please step up your game, or maybe just start trying. read more

Proper training for the employees here would do wonders for their ratings. I mean, come on, I know it's McDonald's and I know what to expect for food but a little (and I mean a little) customer service would do wonders. I try my best not to be stereotypical about the employees that work at McDonald's but this location is typical. The poor girl that helped me had so few social skills it makes me wonder why in the world they had her on the register. I didn't catch her name and I wouldn't put it on here anyway, but please provide more customer training for your cashiers. As far as why I eat at this location?? Well, it's conveniently located on Hwy 36 on my way to the deer lease. I usually have to stop and urinate and get something else to drink. If is wasn't for that very essential bodily function in the middle of my five hour drive, I would not stop at this McDonald's. Terrible Customer Service - Very impolite lady behind the counter was not only rude (to everyone) but also got the order wrong. Food: Tasted good, no complaints. Cleanliness: Good in the restaurant but the bathroom could've used a cleaning. Location: Good. This place is well situated for traffic but it can be difficult navigating through the parking lot if the drive-through traffic is lined up in the middle of the parking lot verses far left. It can also can be a little tricky to get back onto northeast bound 21 when exiting the parking lot. Overall: Customer service took a 4-5 down to a 1-2, and the bathroom mess did the rest 1 Star, and falling. read more

The quality of the McDonald's in Caldwell goes up and down. At various points, it has been among the worst McDonald's in the McDonald's system. Then it becomes solid for a while - often a long while. Then it can bottom out again. As of August 2015, it was down at the substandard level again. This time, using old oil to fry things leaving a bad taste in your mouth after you leave the restaurant. Managers and staff can turn over a lot - so it might be okay relatively soon (or it might not). McDonald's does not fool around with people under-performing official corporate standards - but experienced restaurant management talent can be hard to get in Caldwell and the same issues may exist for shift labor as well. Lots of Caldwell restaurants are having "execution" issues in the kitchen - suggesting that the problem may be the labor market rather than any one company. read more

I really pains me to write bad reviews, but this experience pissed me off so bad that I wrote to the management and am going to post on here as well. McDonald's in Caldwell...how hard is it to put a piece of freaking cheese on a filet of fish? The first effort didn't really even make it on the bun. The second effort was only slightly better and here I post a pic of the third effort. Not even an entire piece of cheese. Additionally, the young lady that took my order had a sweatshirt on that said "Don't Care" in big letters on the front. Guess what? I could tell. I wish there were more options in Caldwell because not only is this place in a really bad location but their service and food are crap. read more

Best service ever!! Employees were very happy and friendly, my order was exactly how I wanted it. I even waited for the holiday pie, which only took a little over ten minutes and for waiting I received an extra pie. I guess it's true... good things do come to those who wait!! This McDonald's is ALWAYS busy!! Not sure why though, it's incredibly disgusting inside. There are always flies and the bathrooms are SO nasty. Every time I come here, they are either out of toilet paper in the stalls or almost out. My kids loved to go here until they made a random sock rule( socks are exactly as sanitary as bare feet btw) and my son slipped and busted his face. Now we can't go here anymore without breaking the stupid sock rule. The management doesn't want kids In their restaurant anymore is my guess to put children in obvious risk and continuously Harrass people who bring their children about socks when no other Mcdonlds does this. Only giving them one star, because I didn't have the choice of no stars at all. This morning I came in for a bacon cheese and egg McGriddle. It was early in the morning and I had just woken up. I've never had a problem with any of the employees at this location until this morning. They gave me a sausage McGriddle, I went up to the lady in the front and asked her politely to fix it for me and she said "you actually said sausage but I guess I'll fix it for you" in the rudest tone I've ever heard. I get you work at McDonald's, it isn't the best job.. but just because you don't have a great life doesn't mean you should treat your customers poorly. I almost asked for my money back and left. The service is horrible. I went in to buy two coffees and the lady that served me the coffee poured old coffee from another pot that looked unclean and just place it Infront of me with a strong attitude that coffee splash on my shirt. The staff is not only unfriendly but dirty. The floor is dirty and I noticed the same lady that served me the coffee touched the fries without wearing gloves after she dipped her hands on the trash can to press down trash. As far as a McDonalds goes, the food, service and cleanliness is good as well as the employees. But I will not be coming back because someone felt the need to put a political-based channel on the televisions. I don't want to have to see that divisiveness while I'm trying to eat. Use to love to go here for their coffee until an employee named Vicki decided it was okay to talk badly about the customers while they are in front of her. Even after being told we could hear what she was saying not once, not twice but three times, she still thought it was okay because "she has a right to talk under her breath." Not about customers sweetheart especially when they can hear you! We promptly got a refund and refuse to go back as long as this lady is working there.
