Pineapple as a flavor surprised me, but it was done really well! Cherry can sometimes come off a little artificial tasting in dishes, but these kolaches were fresh and the perfect blend of sweet without overdoing it. Of the four flavors the cream cheese and pineapple were my favorite two, but the real winner was the dough - supportive and well formed without being dry. Definitely recommend Erin for your next gathering! She's got a super Instagram with some inspiration of the kinds of pastries and cakes you could order, which I suggest checking out.

Clean fresh and friendly... those are the 3 best words to describe it. Nice fresh produce with a descent selection... a pharmacy... and lots of beer! The drink selection was surprisingly large and service was pretty quick even though there was only one person taking and making the drink orders. I was curious about trying the flavored coffees and different roasts that were for sale by the bag, but none of them are brewed and served in the shop which surprised me. I passed because I wasn't willing to spend $15 on a coffee I wasn't sure I'd like. I will absolutely stop when I pass through town again next week. The coffee shop has a great vibe - great decor and there is a cute little gift shop connected with a nice selection of candles and Kendra Scott jewelry. Would have liked more flavor to each The huge link from Westphalia meat market in Loft TX that I got grossed me out...it looked gray, had a lot of cheese and was just mushy looking. It tasted like mushy cheese and not beef or pork. The texture was just mush. (the packaging had no info on it either and the counter person didn't know) I threw $15 worth of whatever this was in the trash. I just could NOT get over HOW it looked, the texture or lack of flavor. (wish I would of taken a photo of it cooked...too traumatized! LOL! HEY OWNERS.... DONT buy that anymore! I cooked the beef/pork link..it was good. I cooked the ground chuck...and, the pork breakfast sausage... Both look and taste great. (sighs of relief!) We got there around 3 o'clock in the afternoon so several of their baked goods were already out of stock. Their cupcakes and cookies are unbelievably fantastic. You can call in and have them make cakes to go or just grab some cupcakes while you're there. Their strawberry cupcake was dense and rich and quite literally the best I've ever had. The quality of their cakes definitely exceed anything you would ever find at a major store front. They might be a little pricey but the quality lives up to the price. This little bake shop is definitely a great asset to Main Street.
