This used to be my McDonald's of choice until about 1.5 years (some time in 2010 I think) ago when something dramatically changed. At that time, nearly the entire staff of the McDonald's changed (yeah, I know it's sad when you recognize who is working at your McDonald's but still). At that point, the service quality dropped noticeably. Drive through orders were not filled correctly, wait times at the counter inside were horrible. I crossed this McDonald's off my list and moved on to other stores. I've tried them once or twice after quitting them, but the same issue remains: Sloppy customer service. read more

This is mcdonalds. We weren't expecting anything more than greasy food with subpar service from unhappy customers. Expectations were not high. BUT- the service was amazing. Renee, (I think a manager) overheard us talking about how we thought we ordered 4 hashbrowns but the receipt showed we only ordered 3. Without us asking or complaining she delivers the extra hashbrown free of charge. Later, my 18 month old spied the cookies.. Without a word the cashier pulled one out and gave it to him. Maybe they're trying to keep up with Chickfila next door- but the personal, above-and-beyond service is MUCH appreciated by this mama. read more

Its rare to encounter a restaurant that gets everything wrong... but this place managed to give us the wrong order forgot straws forgot napkins forgot sauce for nuggets and got the sizes completely mixed up. The staff appeared to be extras from a bad 80's high school movie. They interrupted when you tried to speak they wouldn't take the time to listen and generally didn't give a crap. Awful example of a restaurant and yes it is fast food but come on at least try. Updated - gave them another try and they apparently have changed out an entire crew or something as the last few times the service has been exemplary. read more

Normally I enjoy this McDonald's. Sometimes there are some issues. Tonight however I sat at the drive through speaker for 5 minutes with no response. Then when I pulled up to the window to see what was going on a man was very rude to me and said "no drive around to the speaker." He was very curt and rude. No apology for not responding. When I did get around to the speaker he then proceeded to get into an argument with me about whether he was rude or not. Then I sat at the payment window for another 5 minutes and there was no one there. I proceeded to the next window and there was no one there. This employee frankly is rude, has no sense of his job and is going to lose this location a lot of money. I've now been sitting here for 10 minutes and I'm still waiting for someone to take my payment and acknowledge that I'm here. When I finally was able to pay and get my food I was not given a receipt and had to ask for it. Maybe I need to just not come here at night. read more

I pass by this McDonald's on the way to work in the mornings. The last time I stopped there, ordered breakfast and a diet coke. I got to the paying window and they gladly took my money. I got to the food pickup window and they now tell me they are out of diet coke, would I like something else? No thank you...I go off without a drink - that I had paid for in my 'combo breakfast'. I decided to give them another try - on a Sunday morning at 6:20. I placed my order...got in line. I was car number 5. We didn't move for a good 5 minutes - each car that moved up was a good 3-4 minute wait. When I finally got to the window - after being in line for 15-20 minutes already - at 6:20 on a Sunday morning...they asked me to pull ahead as they were just waiting on the gravy!!! There were probably 8 cars in line behind me by this time. If you open at 5am - start cooking at 430am - this is a 'fast food' restaurant and it is breakfast time. There is a good chance you might need food at 5am for breakfast and for the next 5 hours while you are serving breakfast?? I pulled ahead, got out of my car, went in to the restaurant, they threw the bag at me and I left...no apology, no thank you - nothing. Then I open my breakfast when I got to work and there was maybe...and that is stretching it - a tablespoon of gravy on my biscuit!!! Not even worth the effort. I will never ever go to that McDonald's again - horrible service, no one cares and slow as slow can be. I guess since the Chick-fil-a next door is not open on Sundays - there is no worry about losing business to them. Chick-fil-a gets it right and they are pleasant about it. It's a McDonald's. You don't come here for the high nutritive qualities of the food. You come because you know what's on the menu, and you know exactly how it's going to be prepared. Oh, and the fries. The food is laden with fat and sodium, making it tasty. However, you do feel a little guilt in the back of your mind after having eaten it all. If you like Coca-Cola, you probably agree with me that McDonald's fountain Coke is some of the best around as long as the lines are well-maintained. They are well-maintained at this location. The staff here are efficient, and the dining areas are always clean. This location has free Wi-Fi. However, they do show Fox News on all the TVs. They might have gotten the fourth star if they would change the station. read more

I come here in the mornings to grab an iced coffee.I always go through the drive through. I work right around the corner. I often order an oatmeal or burrito. The staff is so friendly and I never do reviews for fast food restaurants. However, I have been here several times in the past two weeks and the morning crew staff is so friendly and it's consistant. It's rare to find that now days. Props to the management staff at this location and you have made me a happy customer. Mornings are hard enough and dealing with friendly people makes it better. I would highly recommend this location and my coffee and food has always been great as well. No complaints there! read more

Awful service. Get my order correct, and then the window refuse to correct the problem. Even after shorting me part of my order that they did have. I insisted on getting what I wanted, and when it finally arrived the cup was maybe two thirds full. Also the cashier money window had no idea how to do Apple Pay. I usually don't even bother with reviews for McDonald's but this experience was extra absurd to me! I called specifically BEFORE driving there to make sure they had a full menu and even specifically asked for chicken tenders which they said yes we have both a full menu and chicken tenders...I arrive neither are true! So I'm forced to order on a very limited menu after driving out of my way to avoid just that! The line is a mile line due to how slow they are and to top it off she can't figure out the computer so refuses to take my coupon ( which is definitely good it's on their app ) or even accept it off screen since SHE can't figure it out! I ask for a manger and am told there isn't one there at all ( which I'm highly doubting )...the entire thing had me so frustrated I didn't even want the food I ended up ordering so gave it to the dog! From all the McDonald's I've been to, this location seems to be the busiest, yet most amazing through out the day. The staff works hard to get through all the customers in a timely manner while still taking care of each customers specific needs. The wait was short and sweet; my order was as I asked for. This is the worst McDonald's on the face of the earth. I have been to McDonald's in the hood that had much better customer service , and the food was tasty. The manager needs to be replaced, because leadership starts at the top. I have never gotten a hot sandwich from this McDonald's, and the drive thru is horrible. Without a doubt the worst level of customer service I have ever received anywhere. Been to this location 4 times only because it is on my way home from work and have had a terrible experience EVERY TIME. Employees behave as if customers are a nuisance cutting into their cigarette breaks and playtime. Employees could care less if you wait 12min in drive through or not. They regularly have 2-3 cars pulled forward waiting for orders while employees talk and smoke cigarettes in parking lot. Manager could have cared less when I voiced my complaints about stagnant drive through line, rude employees and apparent total lack of pride in their business. Sanitation score is a 90. I am new to the area and tried out this McDonalds and I have to say I was served with a smile and had the most fresh chicken sandwich I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with no mayo and asked they add pickles. It was delicious!! Well done! read more

The manager didn't seem to care that the drive-thru got my order wrong when I told them specifically what I wanted. He charged me the amount it should've cost before refunding what I'd spent. He had me sign a receipt for the refund and this receipt also asked for my phone number. WTH! A young female employee jokingly asked if he was going to ask me out on a date since he now had my phone number. I was beyond offended. I would report them to McDonald's corporate office but you never hear a thing from them. read more

This particular location is never prepared to do business. Either the drive through is not operational or they can not take debit or credit cards as a form of payment. I'm a fan of the franchise it's not my favorite but it seems like every time I visit this particular location there is always something going on that makes my visit more difficult. I hope they get their act together especially on the late night aspect since that is where they have a leg up on the typical restaurant scenes and the reason I continue to try and give them my business. read more

Their sign says they open the dinning hall at 5AM, 7 days a week. I got there at 7 am and the place was locked up. I walked around to the front so they could see me and I tapped on the glass to get there attention. The 2 people I saw in there looked at me and said, no. So I told the others what they said and we all left. I found I can get a bigger better sandwich, freshly cooked with coffee and hash browns from sheetz for less. OK, OK I know it's McDonald's not the Angus Barn. This place has bad servicem especially in the mornings. I know I should learn my lesson but I don't. It seems that every morning I stop in there for nothing more than a cup of coffee it turns into a chore. The store will have 1 register open and 8 people lined up. It is full of laborers heading to their jobs most of whom speak little to no English thus slowing this down even more. Rather than see the back up and open a line to alleviate it, it just gets ignored. A cup of black coffee should require 15 minutes in line to get. I have sent an email to the management contact listed on the sign in the store. I assume she got it but never chose to acknowledge it. The Indian woman who works weekends though is THE WORST. First you have to repeat your order for a shot she gets it right and then she has an attitude when you do order. Again, the wait is ridiculous. Save money and time, go somewhere else. read more

This place is a hot mess. 5 people in line and one cashier. The drink area was a mess- no napkins- no straws. The cashier took forever to take my order and it was like she had never heard of the items I was ordering. I went there for breackfast. I sat at the order box for five minutes without anyone acknowledging I was there. I decided to drive to the first window. The windo was open but know one was there to take my order. I saw the manager walk past the window three times without acknowledging I was sitting there. I blew the horn. Finally, an employee acknowledged I was there. The order taker took my order. I went to the next window to pickup my order, and the same guy who took my order only gave me part of my order. I had to ask for the rest of it. It was at this point, the order taker began to argue and bicker with the server over the rest of my order. Absolutely deplorable. read more

This has to be the slowest drive through I've ever experienced. They actually have parking spots at the drive-thru so you can park and wait even when no one else is in front or back of you. You would think with all that time they would actually get the order right. And when I pay with cash and some change it would be helpful if the people there could actually figure out your change. read more

I just left McDonalds on Harrison and they was the worst .. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.. THIS IS THE 5TH BAD EXPERIENCE. I will be contacting headquarters. This time I order a sweet tea no ice with Lemon... I sit at the 1st window for 3-4 mins, no one ever came, one of the male employees saw me sitting at the window and didnt say a word, so I pulled up to the next window, and I had to blow the horn for someone to come , and when she look out the window, she got an attitude and did not come to the window until she felt like it, and then told me she didnt know I was out there because she was busy and their system was down all this crap and I see my tea just sitting there She really had an attitude and the manager come to the window and didnt nothing, when I ask her did I have to still pay , she said yes and the the manager was standing right there and walked off and didnt say a word.
