This exit was a nice stop for road warriors working their way through southern Ohio. There were a number of food options here. Nice McDonald's with all the usual good foods in a relatively clean dining room. Same for washrooms ... relatively clean. This place just gets to 3 stars, but it's still a kid favorite. read more

ATTENTION PICKLE LOVERS: They did not disappoint. Normally we ask for extra pickles and get like 3, maybe 4 pickles instead of the standard 2. So much so that I've had to order pickles on my burger to ensure the family has a nice amount of pickles. This place though was on top of it. read more

Pretty average as far as fast food goes. It was insanely busy when we went around 1, and by busy, I mean it was borderline uncomfortable to be in there with all the people crammed in. That said, it didn't take that awfully long to get our food. The food itself was pretty mediocre. They gave me a small instead of medium fries, but that wasn't a big deal. My friend got an iced coffee she said tasted "off," so that was unenjoyable, but everyone else liked everything they got. Our server was really nice. I'm sure they were all stressed out with all those orders. I wouldn't purposely return but probably wouldn't avoid it. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. I spent 36 minutes in the drive through line. I didn't dare go inside because the line inside was just as bad. No deal or promotion is going on so what's the hold up. There is 3 other places in town so if staffing is an issue you can float to accommodate so I am not sure what the problem is. I am not hating on fast food workers because I worked fast food a time in my life. This is just ridiculous. read more

I went thru the drive thru about 4:15pm, I order the bundle meal chicken sandwich and fries also a strawberry cream pie. I got over to Dollar General to eat and my fries were cold. I went back thru the drive thru and the lady said she would let them know to have me fresh fries ready. I went ahead and started to eat my sandwich I didn't want it to get cold. Pulled up to the window and the girl said pull up to the next window and we will bring them out to you. Pulled up a few minutes later a young girl came out and said pull over there and we will bring them to you. I told her just bring me my money back for the fries and she told me a I would have to call so I did and it was busy tried again still busy. I pulled around and went inside and took the cold fries in and I asked to speak with the manager. She finally came out of the back and I explain to her what happened and just wanted a refund for the fries. she said your fries are coming up in a moment. I explained to her that I already eat my sandwich before it got cold just wanted my money back and she stood there looking at me. I then told her forget it and told her I would be calling corporate. I have been going to McDonald's for as long as there been a McDonald's in Chillicothe, this morning walking in the door there's a sign, no guns allowed inside. Why in the world would McDonald's jeopardize the safety of their customers by keeping law abiding citizens from caring a gun in their establishment. I'm typically NOT one to write a review of a fast food chain... BUT it wouldn't be right not to praise this location. I don't eat at McDonalds much but I grab coffee there quite a bit - in business road travel, it's always a sure bet for a safe restroom and free wi-fi. On this particular occasion, however, I needed to find a place to eat on the run last month and it was the first place I saw. This is the cleanest, friendliest, nicest McDonald's I've every visited. It was clear that the management team and employees take pride in their store, from the lovely employee who greeted me at the door to the manager who encouraged me to take a seat so he could bring my order to me when it was ready. I was very impressed by how cheerful everyone was and it brightened my day to be around such happy people. These guys know how to create a raving fan! read more

Holy moly what a bad experience...Usually never go through this McDonalds but like always ill give a place another shot...But BAM bad idea....After waiting for bout 22 mins in their double fast lane we finally got to the window....My wifes quarter pounder was cold and lord ole mighty we ordered 3 value meals but one other thing was wrong...No fries...After we told the girl at the window about missing fries she didn't believe us and asked for receipt which was no problem but she needed the bag also...Finally she gave our bag back with our missing fries...No sorry no have a good day just a typical glare and shutting the window...Needless to say my second and third chances are vamoosed from this mcdonalds ...Don't GETCHA SUM from here folks.. read more

I'm not sure how hard it is to take a correct order when there's literally no one else in line, but it must be pretty hard. I was alone and ordered a bacon McDouble with mayonnaise only and a vanilla ice coffee. I can't imagine how difficult that was for them because I got a bacon McDouble with everything but mayonnaise. Not to mention a caramel ice coffee. Unless you're specifically looking for a McDonald's that'll mess your order up, go to Western Ave in Chillicothe. I went to the drive in window and ordered a quarter pounder and 10 piece nugget . I told them ketchup only on the burger it came with cheese and I hate their cheese ,but maybe I have to say no cheese so Ill let that slide .But they poured the ketchup on it .I had to pull off the road and squeeze a bunch off .Not shore if that was done to be mean .
