The manager asked me if she could help me, then turned and walked away in the middle of me talking!! Who does that?? An employee who walked up to the register about the same time the manager turned away from me noticed. She told me she would assist once she was done with a refund. If you have a taste for McDonald's I would suggest driving to one of the locations on South High, hell even on Alum Creek. The customer service is always non-existent, fries remain uncooked or cold, and management is constantly Stevie Wonder to the bullshit of the crew members. Don't waste your money. read more

What this McDonalds has going for it is its collocation with a Shell convenience store. So, you can stuff your car with gas, your belly with dangerous junk (re: "Supersize Me"), and your lungs with toxic smoke in one stop. What a country. But, if you go inside to do all this (which you must), you may not emerge 'til next Tuesday. Their service is just marginally better than the Micky-Ds at Main & Grant, which has had pregnant women picketing because their wait was so long they thought they'd need a birthing room. That's bad. Where do I begin? I absolutely abhor this location. It's likely the worst I've been to. I typically try the drive-thru because going inside... you will still wait forever. Drive-Thru: Once, i ordered a burger and small fries: literally a $2 order. They asked me to pull up and FORGOT about me for 10 minutes. I called the store from my car and they didn't know who I was or what I wanted. I had to tell the manager my order again. He gave me a large fry and a coupon to ANOTHER store?! Drive-Thru 2: I placed my order at the speaker and the car in front of me, I guess, decided not to get food, leaves the line. I pull up and she takes my card and charges me $10 for my $3 order. I told her this is wrong and the car in front of me left. She said that the second window would deal with this. They hand me the wrong food and I, again, tell them that I was overcharged and this is not my order. They refund the difference in cash... Lobby: I hate going inside this location. For one, they put their entire hand in the ice when making drinking orders-- YUCK! THAT IS WHAT THE SCOOP IS FOR. No hairnets or hats. The cashier often has lots of jewelry, an uncovered wig and not in uniform. So much hair around this place. The location is shared with a Shell gas station. read more

I called to see if the milk shake machine was running they told me yes. I sent my niece up there and they told her she could only get frappes so I called back to ask them if the "milk shake" machine was working and they said yes. I explained my niece was in the drive thru and they just told her it was down. The girl I was speaking with asked the employee working the drive thru and then apologized and said the machine was being cleaned. That machine is NEVER up! I tried to avoid the waist in gas just to waist the gas lol! I mean can't they see the machine being cleaned!?! This is more than an annoyance at this point. I even decided to tell my niece to just get some fresh chocolate chip cookies and these things are cold like they pulled them out the fridge. I'm over this McDonald's read more

Well, this is my go to location. It never has what i want, i.e., baked pies; they ALWAYS get my order wrong and if i had ability to always go to another location, i would. No joke, this group of employees must not care about their customers because there is no QUALITY within the execution of the orders. I really would like to get in touch with the district manager or area coach of this location. The customer service is nonexistent and accuracy is also nonexistent. I've tried several times to give this location a chance but after tonight I'm done will be either looking into getting a hold of upper management or calling the better Business bureau because wow I'm just beyond pissed at the lack of respect these people that work there have. Ordered 2 double cheeseburgers with only pickle and onions, and a regular McDouble. Went home and the fries were old and cold per usual. Made our way back and called and asked for a manager on the way. They didn't say hold on or anything just hung up. We got the order remade and checked it before we left and it was wrong AGAIN. Only gave it one star because I had to in order to give my review. it deserves a NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!! I have lived in South Columbus since 1996. I remember seeing McDonald's and Shell Gas Station being built. I remember they had a sign out front that stated "Here We Grow Again." I'm not sure what happened when they built this establishment, however it has been doomed since it opened. I'm not sure if this place has been cursed or what. But I know that I spent countless visits there waiting in line anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes. Not only do you have a long wait when you finally get your food it is horrible. The service along with the food is so bad I only go there unless I absolutely have to. I've watched this restaurant change owners from Carl Ward to Barnett and Associates and now the Mendoza company. The managers and the crew members are always rude and disrespectful when it comes to addressing these situations. It's like they don't want to hear you complain. If that's the case they need to get it together and serve decent food. The last visit I made there was last Saturday and I spent 30 minutes in the drivethru just to get french fries that looked like they had been cooked a million times not only that, they were extremely cold. The chicken snack wraps that I purchased were just as horrible. Neither my daughter or myself was able to eat any of this food. When you call in to voice your concern and your complaints, you are not listened or talked to. You are talked over. It's like they don't care and it's a real nuisance. Something needs to be done about it! I will continue to complain until it gets better. There's no need to be in business if you cannot properly provide quality service. They are pretty much ghetto at this location. The manager who I spoke with from the last visit, Cora, along with the manager on duty now- LaTanya are very rude, unapologetic & they don't listen, but talk over you. She offers a very insincere apology and then proceeded to tell me she would replace my food but not the drinks. I really think replacing the drinks in addition to the food is the least they could do seeing as though all they ever provide is horrible service. Sitting in the drive thru for 30 minutes is NONSENSE-only to get food that immediately has to go in the trash. I think the drink should be considered the courtesy.
