There's nice subway tile on the wall and an expensive expresso machine, the pastry cabinet is loaded with bakery style cookies. It wasn't very busy and we were served right away, however the setting around it is so odd. It's in an old pharmacy and that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. There's people milling around waiting for their prescription or just hanging around in general for no reason while you wait for your coffee and despite the little bit of nice bar seating you do not really feel like staying and drinking your coffee. The coffee however was pretty good, I had a vanilla latte and it wasn't supper sweet which it how I like it. My sister was happy about the almond milk option for her coffee. I thought prices were incredibly fair and I'm really just happy to have a coffee shop around here that isn't dunk-in donuts or McDonald's. But here at clarion university's Starbucks, head honcho (I didn't get her name) is baffled by my drink order, insulting me when everytime I arrive. Adding comments like "tiktok drink coming up" or "I've never seen anything like this one". I ensure you ladies and gents, my drink is not a complex drink at all. Yet this Starbucks seems to lack the bare minimum of training/competency to complete to simplest of task. I request removal of and/or retraining of all staff members. This is war Clarion Starbucks!
