My husband told me that when he went there on Thursday night , he had the best server/waiter ever ! According to my husband ,this young man appeared to be the only person working the floor that evening. He had many tables to attend to but he was pleasant , gracious and worked hard to meet everyone's needs .My husband pointed this out to him and told him how much he really appreciated it. My husband said that he could not remember this young man's name , but that he always worked Thursday night. We stopped in for lunch ... there aren't a lot of Bob Evans stores left ... we had a good meal. The service was friendly, the food good, the coffee was great. The floor was inexplicably wet and there's a sign stating they don't know why, it gets that way when it's humid. We'd go back if we're in the area. read more

The service was great, no complaints. On the other hand, the food was not. With the steak tips dinner I would assume you may get them cooked to order, as such this isn't the case they all come cooked the same. Some were ok and others not so much. I did receive a raw tip. The green onions for garnish are absolutely gigantic and not palatable. I ordered a side salad that was equally just as disappointing. The greens such as the arugula and spinach were fresh but almost any iceberg lettuce I had had rusted and turned brown and mushy. The tomatoes and cucumbers were fresh on the salad. As for adding any salt to your dish, if you so desire, don't. The salt comes in a cheap plastic grinder and you gets chunks of salt that crunch when you chew them. Went to Bob Evans today in Cranberry (Seneca) I ordered a Chicken wildfire salad and coffee and water with lemon. My wife had honey butter chicken and a Pepsi . The food was good. But the service was superb. Never had to ask for a refill, or top off the coffee. Came to the table with a smile on her face and never missed a beat. Thank you for doing such a great service . We used to like Bob Evans. This visit to the Cranberry Twp location convinced us to never go back. The scrambled eggs were disgusting and runny, the sausage patties were over cooked, dry and chewy. The home fries were overcooked. Upon using the ladies room when leaving, we found it filthy, with debris all over the floor, and the floor was sticky. The only positive was the server, who has worked there for decades and was very nice and efficient. read more

Great service! Thanks to Tammy, our server with tons of positive energy! We ordered the classic breakfast and it was delicious! Eggs, sausage links, hotcakes...smack yo' mama good! Additionally, another meal had hash browns, and biscuits. Coffee carafe on the table so you can freshen-up on your own. I am writing this review as a result of the excellent service I received from my server, Jennifer. In spite of serving and answering questions for multiple customers, she maintained her composure and catered to all of them, including myself, quickly and efficiently. Also, when I requested that my toast be replaced because it had too much butter, she did it right away with no issue. During my meal she checked on how I was doing and at the end asked how everything was. The restaurant while busy, was clean as was my table. The food I received was good. I really liked the diced breakfast potatoes. Unless I go away, I almost never dine out and only did so because I was hungry and about to go shopping for an extended period of time. Digressing, my experience was made all the better due to the service I received. Anyone who reads my reviews will understand how much I value being treated respectfully and receiving good customer service. Unfortunately, that doesn't always happen, but when it does, I make it a point to spread the word so that those who have provided me such, as well as the establishments who promote it, are rewarded for it. read more

The table next to us was eating brunch and the manager just stopped by and advised them their entire meal was being comped due to their wait. He wished them happy holidays and apologized once again. Bad bad bad!!!!! They changed the menu!!! Absolutely no appetizers in the menu now! We loved those twisted cheese sticks and like to snack before we eat and now there isn't anything to snack o. Prior to getting our meal! We always get the slow roasted ham n cheese and now they changed that it now has onions on it and instead of sliced ham it was itty bitty pieces of ham that didn't even cover the bread it was a sad looking sand which. One of the higher priced establishments in the area, yet extremely good. Pancakes are amazing, as well as their sunny-side-up eggs. I'll order either one any day. It can get busy but that's to expect of a well-liked restaurant. Food takes a while at times but it's good so I don't mind waiting a little longer for a good-quality meal. And this is coming from an extremely impatient person, lol. Servers are hospitable and I have never dealt with anyone rude. We have been looking for a good place for breakfast for weeks. We went to the "other" chain restaurants in the area a few times for both lunch and dinner and have not had a good meal or service. Went to Bob Evans this morning hoping for the best. Had the apple blossom first because they looked delicious. We were not disappointed, and they are only $1. Then I ordered the pot roast hash. Fiance and I come every few weeks for weekend breakfast. Usually the food is as expected for a chain restuarant, good but not high quality. However, today we walked in and had to wait awhile to be seated. Many servers and the manager stared at us but said nothing and did not come over to seat us. Eventually, a server came over who looked overworked and confused and finally got us a seat. I ordered sunny side up eggs (and yes I understand what I ordered and how it should look). The eggs I got were cold and the eggwhites were snotty, instead of fully cooked. I had to scoop off most of the undercooked whites to even attempt eating them. Majority of the eggs were left on the plate. I'd give less stars, but I come quite often and know that they can do much better than that. read more

I don't know why it took so long for us to try this restaurant but what a great surprise! We've been back probably 6 Moore times and have not been disappointed! I am new to being gluten free and am surprised none of the restaurants in the area, even chain restaurants, offer any choices except Eat-N-Park in Clarion. But my husband loves their sausage gravy, huge!, and I used to love their brioche French toast and waffles. I stopped by Bob Evans after work 2 weeks ago to pick up a family meal for my family of 4. Upon entering I stood at the front counter for about 1 minute as two employees sat there in front of me and talked about their day. They said things to each other that employees shouldn't say in front of customers. Finally someone came from the kitchen area of the restaurant to take my order as the other two employees continued their conversation and acted as if this was normal service. The guy who helped me was nice, although upon paying for my Take Out, he asked "How much would you like to leave as tip?" It seems to me the more appropriate question would be "would you like to add a tip?" I got the turkey and stuffing meal, it was comparable to a Hungry Man from the frozen food section of a grocery store. To sum it up, go to the frozen aisle and buy the Hungry Man and avoid the R rated conversation and horrible service. read more

No service. Ignorant waitresses with no manors. Sat at counter to have breakfast, filthy every space at counter had old plates of food from prior customers. Sat there 20 minutes and no one even spoke to me. Still looking at the dirty food plates all this time.Manager kept waling by and also no acknowledgement. Another customer sat down waited and left and went to Denny's. After 30 minutes I asked the waitress can I get waited on. She said Im busy with orders to deliver while hot. She kept mumbling over and over I'm walking out of here, I don't need this.Everyone heard her. after 30 minutes I got up went to register to manager and said look at that dirty counter, I can't even get waited on. All she said was sorry about that and proceeded with the register. Something is wrong here. Went to Denny's and had great service and smiles, no dirty counter either.
