I don't like to write negative reviews, however, after many unsuccessful trips I need to share. I have ordered on the app, the drive thru and walked in. Once my order was so messed up I was forced to return to the restaurant. Terrible service, the workers are not kind and the trademark food is never prepared the same way. This location actually has gotten worse after the renovation. The service is terribly slow. The cleanliness is deplorable. The owner should be ashamed and McDonald's should be embarrassed. The fries were delivered to the table cold. The 4 piece nugget had 3. The apple slices were missing. We waited 10 minutes for 5 basic items with no in store traffic and only 2 cars in the drive through. This is exactly what the world wants and needs. Instead of improving your food you eliminate the in person interaction between the employees and customers while decreasing the overall experience. Exactly what the world wants. Let me start by saying this review is mostly about the service. The food was fine, it's mcdonald's nothing crazy. The fries could have been fresher, but our quarter pounder a were ok. The service is just stupidly slow, my wife's burger came out wrong not but twice and when she went in to get it fixed they were very rude. Very slow service. Many employees don't seem to care and was given long story how manager charges for extra dipping sauce and I should just go to Giant Eagle and buy a large ranch when all we got was two sauces for three meals! We went to McDonald's in high hopes to enjoy a four piece chicken tender. We ordered at the drive through and we got to the window and informed us that they are out of chicken tenders. I thought this was outrageous! Like if you are a public food industry don't you think you should have plenty of food. I don't recommend this McDonald's for their lack of food. read more

The absolute WORST McDonalds I've ever been to. They used to be the best (back when they opened), and slowly started going downhill a few years ago. Ever since they remodeled, they've somehow managed to get worse? They frequently close an hour (or more) early, even though the lights are on- they lock the doors and won't take drive thru orders. I've gotten mostly empty orders of fries, waited in the drive thru upwards of 45 minutes multiple times (for a burger and fries), I haven't been able to get a milkshake here for at least a year (the classic "it's down" excuse EVERY time). I know people who have been told (at 9 pm) that they only were serving nuggets the rest of the night?? What even IS that? I've worked at McDonalds before (a much more efficient one even though it was significantly busier) and never had issues like this. Something needs to be done about this. This is the busiest McDonalds in the area and there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of service. I don't understand why people still go to this location because it's really not "fast food." I could go to the Wexford one and eat and be home before I'd even get my order here, and that's no exaggeration. Someone needs to come in and retrain / staff this place better because it's awful. read more

I placed a mobile order at 9:10 AM on Friday, 12/28. I realized that I didn't get the 2 apple pies that I ordered when I got back home. I called the store and they asked me to go back to get a refund or the apple pies. I told them I am not wasting 40 min to go back for a dollar refund, plus this was a mistake they made to begin with. The guy at the store told me there is nothing else they can do. This is very disappointing, not because I lost a dollar but because they made a mistake and they are doing absolutely nothing to make it right. The slowest McDonald's I have ever been to! I feel bad writing this but I just want people to know that they shouldn't go here unless they have at least 15 minutes to sit in a line or 20 minutes inside. Recently I went inside to see if the wait was shorter and ended up leaving without my food because it took so long. Extremely disappointed in this drive thru experience. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes, we were pulling out of the parking lot and realized that we were missing 1 sandwich. i have had enough of you damn white people and your fancy ass timers in the drive thru. people who like to time how long they're in the drive thru also probably masturbate with their feet. i'm ready to type up an entire thousand word essay on how unbelievably stupid that is. first of all, every order at Mcdonalds has a timer right below your orders space. which ever member of the crew is in charge of getting your order together is constantly nagging the people making the food in the back to get their shit together and just make your food. i have personal experience in this field and i can tell you for a fact if your big mac that you ordered specifically without onions comes with onions, that is because whoever was making it in the back is pissed off because the manager wont let them take their smoke break. and oh boy dont even get me started on smoke breaks. we used to have an employee that would periodically leave the store late at night and force us to close early because he did not get his smoke break at the desired time. this man should have been fired after doing this once but because we are so understaffed we were forced to hold on to him until he quit just recently because he had enough of it. this shits wack af additionally, half of our management should still be in pre school. because most of our staff is either 14 or 15, most of us can not touch anything such as the fryers or get anywhere near the grills. this disables us from getting our orders out on a desired time. a few weeks ago we had 2 managers were in the store, most teenagers had started at 12 pm and at this time it was 4:15 and both managers were in the office talking and doing nothing productive. often times i was forced to walk into the office and ask "can you put fries down" or "can you get fries up" so we can get good times. when i did this the managers would both moan and groan about it. once they even played rock paper scissors to see who would have to go up. after a while this manager literally quit on the spot and ran out of the store. this caused anxiety. i took charge and pretty much did a few illegal things in order to keep us in check. because it is illegal to go 5 hours without a break i clocked out on my break and went right back to work. last but not least, why do you people care enough to whip out a timer and start timing us? there are so many more productive things you could do such as: calling your mother and having a genuine conversation about your day, go on Facebook and meet up with some old high school friends, and lets not forget you could always just wait like a normal person. and now that you've read my entire review i doubt your opinion has been swayed but i still don't give a rats ass how mad you are that your food took longer to get out to you. now please, all of you god damned middle aged white people please find a new hobby that doesn't require a Mcdonalds drive thru, a timer, and a stick in your ass read more

This Route 228 in Cranberry Twp McDonalds is always very busy. There is always a long line, and they seem to have some problems behind the counter with keeping customers orders straight and with backing up the counter people to help fill orders quickly. But, we go there for the large, outdoor Play Place, as I have two young, active boys. The interior and patio eating areas are both newly remodeled, pretty, and very comfortable. They have free Wi-Fi which I use while pretending to monitor my children on the play equipment. As for the food, I'm sure that you already know not to expect gourmet. McDonalds food is pretty lousy in my opinion. Like I said, I go there when I must because my children have earned it and ask for this as their reward. While we're talking about the food, they did have ok health choices for kids meals, until early 2012 when they changed them so that all kids meals include french fries (whether you want them or not) and a much smaller portion of apples. Previously, I would order my children a hamburger, apples and white milk and feel alright about it as a fast food meal. I'm not happy about the new fries & smaller bag of apples. I think that McDonalds is trying to get all children addicted to their fries, and made the change because of parents like me who were never ordering fries for them. By the way, I don't order the fries for myself either, have you seen any of the documentaries involving McDonald's fries?!? If the Chick-fil-A across the street had a bigger play area, we would always eat there for these kid reward fast food meals. read more

Wife and I both dined inside and ordered at 1128am did not get our food until 1152am and waited 10 minutes in line before order was placed. There were no buses or anything like that. Just slow workers. We ordered a mcrib and Big Mac with fries. That's it. Waited along with others who,were complaining as well. Managers could care less and didn't even offer apology or a disount for wasting everyone's time. People go to mcdonalds because they want to be in and out. This store is horrible and has a reputation for bad and slow service. Will never return. Also the restrooms were disgusting.
