After a fun night out with friends, I was hit with a craving for hot, chocolate chip cookies. Simple enough order, but at 2 AM? I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, the staff went above and beyond, baking me fresh cookies and even serving up some piping hot fries that I got for free by using the McDonald's app. The team's kindness and effort at that hour left me so impressed. Every once in a while I get a craving for McD's and this is the closest one to my home. Most recently I got breakfast - sausage biscuit meal. It didn't show on the menu board but I was able to order it anyway. The meal was fine and they prepared my sweet tea as requested - with light ice. This McD's has two drive through lanes. I've never said this about a business or establishment but this is the worst location i have ever been to!!! They always have a long wait time and/or my order is wrong. I've given the chances again and again and each time I'm left with inconsistency, inaccuracy or being over charged. I came in for breakfast this morning and asked for a Carmel mocha. The drive-thru was surprisingly fast but I actually had to pull up and wait for my order...that doesn't always thrill me but at least my food was hot and fresh. Duh da duh da dah, I'm hating it. Why? Why would anyone ever think that they offer food here? It's not food. No more than super models eating cotton balls is food. It's stuff, that happens to be very tasty, yet still not actual food. However, I am very sick with pneumonia, and there's a chance I may keel over, so I'm eating this garbage. This location is consistently known for making your order wrong, giving cold fries, and being very slow especially during the day and at night. In the morning, they seem to be pretty good. They're quick but once the lunch hour hits, idk if it's because they switched shift managers and staffing or what, they start to move very slow. There's been several times where my Big Mac was missing cheese or my fish filet had no tartar sauce. Mind you, I don't get any special orders on the food that I order. In that outer lane in the evening, the person taking orders is always saying how someone else was supposed to take your order but then two cars go by in the other lane and I'm still waiting. The intercom on their second drive through lane doesn't seem to work. If your job requires you to take orders at a drive-through, I would think you'd notice the irregularity. The person handling your food at this location is likely eating from it. I saw this and when I called it out - the employees went on arguing that it wasn't an issue because the same person has "prepared" your food. Really? So you do you want to eat at a place where the person preparing your food is eating it - which means that he is touching his mouth and has his fingers in your food. Disgusting.
