Wow this is the slowest restaurant in the west. 10-year-olds running the place no wonder.

Very very slow service, also when I tell the workers at the drive through I don't want to donate they ask me 5 seconds later, like im gonna change my mind! Also the fries are not fresh at all and it sucks because they are popular for there fries. I have also requested a blue raspberry slurpee and they let me pay for it, then when I reached the 2nd window they tell me they don't have it, THEN CROSS IT OFF THE MENU!! this has happend 3 times and the 3rd time the lady at the window didnt give me my extra change when I swapped it. On top of that they have mixed up tons of orders, which is fine I get everyone makes mistakes, however this happens a lot more then it should and you are waiting at least 2 hours before they figure it out! They also need to train there workers on how to use the ice cream machines inappropriate if im paying $4.00 for a Sunday and then the cup it comes in is not even filled half way.This McDonald's is arguably one of the worst ones in Montana, not even the locals like it. read more

I ordered a quarter pound cheeseburger and got a six piece nuggets. I went into the bathroom and there were small black oval things in the corners when I came out the nine year-old kid was talking too much and hasn't even started. She also had lots of weird vibes. read more

My husband and I stopped at the McDonald's in Deer Lodge, Montana. We ordered breakfast at 10 am. Thirty minutes later the food still was not done. The menu changed to lunch, by then I was fed up. I asked for a refund and when I checked my bank account, they shorted me 1.75. I called spoke with the manage., she told me she would have the supervisor call me. I waited a week. Still nothing. When I called back she saud she dropped her phone in the lake and lost my number. I asked to speak with her supervisor. I spoke with the supervisor and she said she would mail out a gift card. I never received. This happened 07/05/25. It is now 07/23/25. Not only did I not get my order, but they stole my time and 1.75 of my money. read more

This is the best McDonald's I've ever been to. Brenda was our cashier and she was outstanding! She delivered our food and even came by our table to check to see if we need anything. Before we left she asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks and even remembered what drink we had! And then she even told us to be safe out there when we drive. Seriously that is some amazing service and genuine kindness. She deserves to be employee of the year! Btw the place was super clean and the bathrooms were excellent! The janitor was also amazing! He was so nice and friendly and did a great job keeping the bathroom clean. And he is so funny! And yes the food was good too. I'm definitely coming here the next time I come through town. Stood in the lobby for at least 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and they were standing right there!! The manager!! And there was no one in the restaurant. 9:00 on a Tuesday night. Large staff and you could hear them in the back goofing off. Finally someone acknowledged me took my order and it was out fast enough, but the lack of customer service was awful. The Big Mac was good enough for hungry travelers and the fries seemed fresh. I asked for coffee with the meal due to night driving and it tasted like it was made that morning. Shittiest customer service! I waited 30 for my mobile order. all we ordered was 2 sandwich and 2 hash browns, i will give credit for the food, 2 stars almost seems too generous. the service and their attitudes were terrible. over 10 people were waiting with me or needed orders fixed bc they were giving them to the wrong people. the two guy employees didn't know what they were suppose to be doing. the short woman had too much on her plate and was rude asf. disorganized and messy. just go to subway, you'll save time and money. read more

A vanilla milkshake. I feel that is something very hard to mess up. Yet they did... I get up to the window to pay and the lady walks over with my milkshake and says "The Shake made before yours was a shamrock shake.. So yours has a little mint at the bottom." And then she just stares at me as if there's not a thing she can do about it. Umm yeah fine lady, whatever. I feel like when she noticed the ice cream was coming out green, she could have thrown that part away and refilled it with what I ordered... Terrible...what happened to the quarter pounders?For 4 plus dollars you get a piece of cardboard that is beef.....two pickles, onion and ketchup. You could have ordered four ....$1.00 burgers, with the same items that the quarter pounder had on it. What happened to lettuce, tomatoes and maybe some mayonnaise, anything to make a better burger. Horrible... not my first time being here but will probably be my last being as yes a bunch of people came in this is at 6:33pm on Friday the 1st orders were messed up more then once within the time being here for lobby is pretty dang dirty basically very poor customer service with some of the workers not all. Only thing I can say was decently fast was food being brought out also stood there for more then a few minute from being helped. Understand some of the customers weren't the greatest of people to talk to I've worked in customer service and that was the wrong way to deal with it. Hope something gets done maybe more training on customer service and training in more of a hectic environment! read more
