Not one of those dry and crumbly scones, nice and tender. The espresso itself was awesome! There was depth of flavor to it, not just a strong cup of coffee, it had some complexity. This place became a staple for us for just the few days we were in Chincoteague and there are no regrets. Coffee: Both myself and my partner ordered the Vietnamese iced milk coffee and it was out of this world delicious. This drink was a bit strong but that didn't deter me at all from ordering it every day we visited the coffee shop because it was that good. Pastries: my family ordered the butter and chocolate croissants and they were fantastic! Huge, buttery and chewy inside and flaky on the outside, the perfect combo! We also ordered their chocolate chip cookies on a whim and were pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were. Normally coffee shops aren't know for their cookies but these were the perfect chocolate chip cookies - thick, the right amount of chocolate and not too sweet. We also ordered their peach and pineapple slushie and it was super tasty. We were on the way to my friend's annual get together every year in late June at her family's eastern shore house near St. Michael's. Unfortunately, 2025 was the worst year for the trip for various reasons since I started going in 2016. My girlfriend drove us out there. I was done with my 1st week of chemo on that Friday. Of course traffic is horrible coming from Howard County (oncology office) on a Friday in the summer in the early afternoon. We got across the Bay Bridge, and I was monitoring traffic saying there was a major delay due to an accident just past Queenstown Outlet Mall. I suggested stopping to WiFi and get some coffee since we were both tired. Staff was friendly. Prices were pretty reasonable compared with most places in the DC-Baltimore area. I got some coffee drink, perhaps a dirty iced chai. Wow, this coffee shop beats almost any other in the BAWA area. I connected to their WiFi for maybe an hour to check my Fantasy baseball, emails, etc. But I was upset because I left my computer charger at the chemo chair. Traffic cleared up decently enough, and we left to go to Walmart in Easton to get a universal charger for my laptop. Unfortunately, my g/f car died in Easton, had to have towed to Annapolis, which was the start of what ended up being a bad weekend. Thankfully, my 3 rounds of chemo was a success. This annual trip in 2026 is almost guaranteed to be better. I'll need to revisit A Little Lovely Coffee House again, but this year's trip the timing will be too late.
