Apple Cheese Danish and a cappuccino
    Mary M.

This is an adorable, cozy coffee shop that's perfect for a quick breakfast, meeting or to stay a bit and work. One morning I had a cappuccino and an apple cheese danish and the next morning, I came back for a chocolate croissant and a drip coffee. The pastries were fresh and delicious and the coffee was perfect. Service was quick and the gentleman behind the counter was so nice. I would definitely recommend a visit when you are in Chincoteague.

Usually I prefer dark roast coffee but their house roast which I think is medium was great. They have a delicious assortment of pastries to choose from. Staff very friendly. The space is welcoming. Would definitely return when in the area.

Thanks for being open during the nor'easter this past weekend! I enjoyed a latte and more pastries than two of us could eat in one sitting, but were much enjoyed even the next day :)

Cute place, came around 7:30 few people in line. I got butter croissant, blueberry danish and apple danish. The butter croissant is the clear winner for sure. The rest is just okay. Plenty of seatings inside and outside of the cafe.

This spot brings the island vibes! They have ample seating both inside and outside. Perfect for those who want to ease into the day while enjoying a cup of coffee. They also have a drive thru for those in a hurry! The coffee sizes are pretty large. I got a 16oz iced coffee and that was the smaller size! They also offer an assortment of oversized pastries.

The most amazing pastries! Those croissants will melt in your mouth! Love that they have a drive thru window.

Amazing baked goods and milk teas! The everything bagel croissant is insanely delicious and the cinnamon swirl was decadent and delicious! The wait can be a bit long since it's quite popular, but your order comes out quick. Lovely outdoor patio in front for enjoying a light breakfast/coffee. Definitely recommend!

Super friendly and attentive staff, it wasn't as busy at 730 this morning as I'd expected but they had already ran out of a few bakery items and were working to make up new batches. No food truck today for breakfast sandwiches. The Vietnamese iced coffee is strong, amazing! If you're thinking of getting a croissant, do it but make sure all parties have their own

Amazing chocolate croissant! Probably the best I've ever had. The hot coffee was also delicious. We got a cappuccino as well which was not great. The milk was burnt and bubbly, not foamy. I'd definitely try this spot again but stick to a basic drip coffee. There's plenty of seating inside and out on the porch. It was a nice experience!

Only came for the Vietnamese coffee. It was legit, it tasted great. Can't say about their other items but coffee was delish. It's a must try!

Below average. The coffee isn't great and they don't have a big selection of food either. The chocolate croissant was good though.

Decided to go there for breakfast on our last day. Arrived at 9 AM on Sunday, and the parking lot was already full. We got lucky and were able to be seated (two of us) right away. I will say the staff does a great job clearing and resetting tables and getting new diners in, all without the aid of electronic devices. The decor is rather Spartan - grey concrete block walls, dark brown furniture, very little natural light. There are a few booths and tables in front of the register and then a larger dining area to the right of the entrance. Tables, walls, utensils, etc. were clean. Our server came by shortly after we were seated and took our beverage orders. Two regular coffees and a glass of water. The coffee was nothing special, but it was hot and tasted fresh. I ordered two eggs over easy, bacon, and rye toast. My partner ordered eggs scrambled and home fries. Despite how busy the place was, breakfast arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Eggs were done right, the portion of bacon was generous, and the home fries were good. Everything arrived hot, so it hadn't sat on the line too long. As we ate, we were asked if we wanted more coffee several times by several different servers. We've been to places where our cups are never refilled, so we appreciated the ask. Total for breakfast was around $25. This seemed reasonable in today's economy. This isn't a place for ambiance or decor, but if you are looking for basic sustenance done well, it is worth stopping.

There is a small lot behind the restaurant. It was easy and there was plenty of parking since it was the off season. I did not have a reservation but, I was seated as a party of one pretty quick. The tables were draped with white table cloths, a nice table side light, sweeteners, tall clear glasses with a black napkin and tall salt and pepper shakers. The walls were a darker and lighter gray, hues of black and whites scattered throughout. I was in love with the old photos and the black and white prints throughout. There was a stunning glass sculpture hanging from the center of the dining room. It maybe a Chihuly glass chandelier. If it is not it resembles it. Hues of amber, orange and whites. My waitress came over within a few minutes and took my drink order. She informed me of the specials and brought over some bread, butter and herbed oil. I just had to try the cream of crab. On the menu it states it's a tight lipped recipe. The cream of crab was delicious. They have done their own spin on it. It came out piping hot. It had a slight kick to it, as if there was some sort of pepper in it... jalapeño? Could just be regular ground pepper. Overall, it was pretty good. My meal came with a choice of salad. It was either a garden salad, Caesar salad or tropical salad. I ordered the garden salad with ranch dressing. The salad was ok. Nothing to rave about. It had shoestring carrots, two cherry tomatoes and 2-3 types of lettuce. It did the job. I had the waitress choose my main dish for me. I could not decide. It was between the stuffed shrimp (stuffed with crab imperial), or the crab cakes. I opted for the vegetable of the day which was green beans. My waitress surprised me with stuffed shrimp, broiled. I'm so glad she went with the broiled vs fried option. She said it was the best way to go. The crab imperial was creamy and flavorful. The shrimp were a little on the smaller side. I personally did noThe green beans were nicely seasoned. For dessert I had the waitress choose agin. A choice between their strawberry shortcake which was a special, white chocolate coconut cream pie, or the vanilla crème brûlée. She chose well, the coconut cream pie. It was so good! I saw other tables around me being delivered their food and everything looked really good. This place is definitely a popular eatery. They will remain on the list to come back.

Being in mid March, we were offered a table close to the bar (away from the windows), so we'd stay warmer --but we couldn't resist the lure of sitting on the high chairs and looking out at the boat traffic, sparse as it was. We specifically asked for the sauce on the tuna appetizer to be served on the side as it only needs a little. That did not happen. The kicker was the $23 fish & chips. One piece of fish (as shown in the attached picture) that was falling apart, not crispy and somewhat soggy. The waffle fries would have been decent if they hadn't been sitting for an extended period before serving. My wife ordered the same and was better (hot) but still one piece of fish. For a town/region know for fresh fish, this is well below local standard. Our bartender was OK but preferred serving the locals, some of whom were clearly there all day drinking themselves into a stupor. Save your money for betters places while visiting Chincoteague.

The courses were so different; a lot of thought has gone into the menu and prep. The crab bisque was delicious and appropriately sized. I loved the subtle touch of sherry. A smart way to begin the evening. I found the amuse bouche plate that consisted of a single scallop, French onion scone with strawberry preserves, Gruyere cheese, and other foods, to be a bit confusing. The salad plate was top notch, enjoyable. Red snapper, the main course, was right in there. A lovely fillet, placed on a bed of delicate mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable medley, was excellent. The chocolate fig cake dessert looked superb but some of the other chocolate components weren't complementary. The whole dining experience was very relaxing.
