a cheeseburger wrapped in paper

I keep trying this location in hopes I've always previously caught them on a bad day but there's just never any improvement. Burgers wrappers are always covered in grease. Pretty much always make you park and wait in drive thru. Today's burger (in photo) tipped me over the edge to the point I felt this review was overdue.

This location seems to have one of the most unique layouts of the chain. Parking is plentiful in the nice large lot in the back. The outside looks like a church, steeple and all. See pic. On the inside, the turquoise and yellow tables really stuck out. The only thing consistent with the rest of the chain was the front counter area. There is 1 TV in the location, but it's set awkwardly over the end of a table. Be strategic with your seating if you want to watch. Staff were very friendly, and my burgers and drink were delicious.

Looks like they mopped up a pool of grease with it, used it as a sponge to clean the grille, complete with burnt bits of charcoal.

Don't expect them to get your order right! I'd say they have about a 30% success rate. Best off going to Ladner.

I took my aunt out for dinner and we settled into a nice outdoor table on a gorgeous Easter Monday…read morenight.. that was at 4:45 pm and an hour later our food had still not arrived. The Caesar salad which eventually came was pretty standard, and I did like the zest of the jambalaya penne. The waitress also forgot my aunt's order of mineral water. I really liked the mango mule! But to sit over an hour waiting for food is unacceptable

The location is on the main strip of Tsawassen and is pretty trendy. Their is outside seating (including blankets and a small fire pit). They also take reservations which is a bonus. We came early on a Friday. My sister loves this place and I definitely preferred her dish to mine. I got their soup of the day ($6.50 for a cup). The serving and presentation was beautiful. The soup was roasted cauliflower with smoked cheddar. It was not at all what I excepted. It was brown and thick/lumpy and flavorless. They also don't have salt or pepper at the table (but their servers offer freshly grated parm). I also go a small pizza (feta, spinach, onion). That was $18.99 and again, mediocre. The sauce was flavorless but their crust was nice and crispy. The spinach didn't taste overly fresh either. My sister got their Backed Tortellini with Alfredo. Super rich and garlicy with the perfect cheese, pasta, sauce ratio! I loved her dish. Service was great. It was just ok for me.

We tried the Double Smash Burger (incredible caramelized edges and melt-in-your-mouth cheddar), the Curry Chicken Bap (a sweet and spicy dream with McDonnell's curry sauce), and their crispy, seasoned Shaking Gems--which are honestly addictive. We also loved that they use fresh, local ingredients and offer options for vegan, gluten-free, and Halal diets. The staff was friendly, the vibe was fun, and everything tasted fresh and made with care. Great for a night out, post-party cravings, or any time you're hungry for something real. Bonus: It's inside Donnellan's Irish Pub so you can sip a cold one while smashing a burger. I ordered the mushroom smash and upgraded to tater tots, and you get a choice of "flavour" for tater tots - I chose all dressed. The all-dressed flavour did not really come out very much so i just dipped it in the provided ketchup. When it first came out, there was a mixup in my order and it came out with plain fries - they were quick to fix their error and there was a generous portion of tater tots for the $6 upgrade fee. I'm not usually a fan of smash burgers but I have to say this one was cheesy and flavourful and I would get it again!

We happened to get a parking spot right in front of Burger Crush so after a bit of shopping on Granville St., we decided to stop for an afternoon snack at Burger Crush before getting into our car to drive somewhere else. We shared an order of Vegan Crush Fries and Vegan Nuggets between the three of us. Also ordered a Vegan Milkshake and shared that with my daughter. Grandma wasn't so much into the milkshake part of the snack. Vegan Crush Fries were just as good as last time. Grandma commented several times on how tasty they were. That's a big win in my books. Always happy to hear of anything that makes my mom happy! I enjoyed the crispiness of the Vegan nuggets but flavor wise I think they were just OK. The dip is very much needed for these nuggets. On their own, they don't really have much flavor. I recommend breaking them into smaller pieces and then dipping those smaller pieces before eating them as they were piping hot and biting into it as is might burn your tongue. Found that out the hard way! I was pretty impressed with how well the nuggets retained their heat! Loved the Vegan milkshake! We ordered the Vanilla flavored Vegan milkshake and it was soooo good. The menu says that it's made from coconut milk ice cream. I couldn't taste any coconut milk flavor. All I tasted was Vanilla and it was sooooo good! Super impressed with the Vegan milkshake at Burger Crush. They absolutely crushed it with their Vegan milkshake!
