This is such a unique and cozy place! I really like the creativity of the frog theme, like the name "frog sauce" on the menu and how there are cute little frog figurines by the counter, which gives this place a lot of character. When we went there were people dining solo, people eating with their friends and a guy drinking coffee while he worked on his laptop, so it felt like a cozy cafe/coffee shop kind of place that caters to lots of different kinds of people. You order at the main counter and then they bring a number to your table and bring your order there, and our server was amazing! We ate outside even though it was rather cold, as the inside of the restaurant was mostly full, and our server made certain we were all right and even heated up my mum's soup bowl to help us stay warm out there. She came outside to see us and asked if we wanted to move inside because she talked to the guy on his laptop who was sitting at this bar-stool like table by the window and said he was okay to share the table with us, but we said we were happy outside, so that was very kind of the server to think of us like that and make sure we were okay. The soup, which was chicken coconut, was incredibly delicious, so much so that we went back inside to order some more. The "cup" size was very generous. I had the bagel with lox, and it was very delicious and the bagel itself was really good and tasted so much better than the bagels you get at the grocery store. My mum ordered a scone and said it was very delicious as well. Considering inflation, the prices were very affordable. read more

This coffee shop is darling. I love the decor and that wood and frogs are prominently featured throughout the shop. All the baked goods are displayed in an eye catching way. There are many excellent choices to eat and drink. I had a chai latte and avocado toast, with a splurge piece of coconut cake. The chai is their own house blend and it is excellent. The toast was delicious. The coconut coffee cake was amazing!! I'm so glad I spoiled myself. My husband and son got breakfast sandwiches that they inhaled and said were very good. My son also got a hot chocolate that he enjoyed. The service was kind and fast. I definitely recommend this lovely spot! read more

A solid spot for coffee here in Tsawwassen! My sister and I came in after finding this place on Maps to grab some coffee before heading for lunch across the street. It's tucked into a small strip mall off 56th street with their own parking lot. The menu is pretty expansive and they have lots of pastries available to order. I grabbed an oat milk latte and my sister got an iced maple latte. I thoroughly enjoyed my drink, which was as good as I expected from a latte from the PNW. Service was quick and we got some delicious coffees out of it. I'm excited to come back one day and try some more drinks and their baked goods. read more

I like this place. It is like a mom-n-pop cafe which is kitschy homely, with mismatched furniture. I find that charming. It was crowded when I came on Saturday close to lunch time. I snagged the last table, though people started to leave after half hour or so. There were monthly drinks specials (including an alcoholic latte) which were nice. I had the Easter Egg Latte which was with caramel and chocolate. It was very sweet though. I also tried the lox bagel which looked simple and plain, but it was very tasty. I saw it being made and you could tell it was made with care. Unfortunately they were swamped with customers, so service was slow. It was fine with me as I was not in a hurry and I could tell they were understaffed. I saw the plate of lox bagel on the table for a while and I wondered if I was to help myself to it. I asked and the owner was very apologetic. He had forgot about it. I was ok to just pick it up but he insisted on bringing it to my table. I saw many baked goods which looked very delicious and I loved how one cookie had the words "Wood n Frog" on it. Nice branding. I will come back here again when I am in the area. It's the type of coffee that tastes better and better as it cools as the flavour oils settle and have a chance to get into the water. The beans were NOT over roasted by any means! This is by far my favourite coffee shop in Tsawwasssen. I'm so bummed that it's taken me this long to pay them a visit, especially with how close it is to my house. + The decor and atmosphere. They have big wooden furniture, cool decor and art hanging on the walls, fun chandeliers, plenty of tables to sit at. This place just sends out all the cool coffee shop vibes. + Their coffee and food - So. Good. I had their green tea matcha latte and a yogurt parfait, and I'm a fan. Their matcha latte was perfect - not too sweet, but just enough flavour. Their parfait had vanilla yogurt, cinnaamon granola, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Perfect little mid-break snack. + Free Wifi. Yeah, yeah, I know most coffee shops have free wifi nowadays. But hey, just another reason to love this place. Also, it's good free wifi. Not the kind where you get logged out every 30 minutes. I worked for 4 hours and my wifi didn't once get interrupted. Wooohoo! + Their staff. Everyone I was able to chat with was so kind and helpful. They also clean up after you right away, which was really nice. I haven't seen that kind of service from a coffee shop in a long time. I've found my new work cafe! Very cute little coffee shop with baked goods, seems like a rare find in town. I got the Pumpkin Spice Latte, expensive, but aren't all speciality coffee drinks these days? Couldn't taste the pumpkin as much as I expected, so would have liked to save the extra few bucks there. Bought some fresh coffee, pricy compared to store bought stuff but we'll see how it tastes tomorrow morning freshly ground! Also got a Smoked Salmon Lox sandwich, $12 is quite high for what it was but it was delicious so no complaints there! Overall, adorable place to catch up with friends or family! I'm never in the area and just stumbled upon Wood N Frog. The decor is lovely, the chai was delicious, the latte, perfectly foamed, and the warmed brie sandwich was delicious. It's the kinda spot you want to pop in and settle for a bit. Unfortunately, the table chairs with the pads are a wee bit uncomfy, so I can't imagine being there for a few hours of work. I went here this past weekend with a friend and everything I ordered was excellent! I got the Mocha latte and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and the coffee flavour really shone through. Way better than what you get at Starbucks. I also ordered the Salmon Lox bagel. Wow, I was very impressed and ate every last bit. The cucumbers on the side was a nice addition and it had just the right amount of cream cheese. The coffee shop itself is nicely decorated and was very Covid friendly. The staff were amazing. If I didn't live within a minute's walk from this place, and didn't have a serious espresso machine in my kitchen, this would be my go-to place. Everything is first-rate including their coffee which is at least equals what I can make at home on a quality machine using quality beans. The place was ok, unfortunately the one savory item i wanted to try was out of stock so i loaded up on sweets which wasn't the best idea. Each item on their own probably would have been wiser. I went with a cranberry and lemon scone, a cinnamon bun and a French kiss latte. The medium size latte was really big, so i can only imagine a large would be a small soup bowl. The interior felt rustic and the wraps on display didn't look too enticing. Although there's space for one, the women's/disabled toilet didn't have a baby change table which we desperately needed. They do have a high chair hidden away, in case you need one. My partner's sandwich seemed decent enough, though for $9 was a bit steep for a casual coffee shop. The scone only came with butter, jam would have been a welcome addition but it was rather tasty overall. I quite enjoyed the latte, a mix of caramel and vanilla flavours, with whipped cream on top. The cinnamon bun seemed quite good, incredibly sweet and sugary though. They offer a couple of daily soup options written up on the board by the cashier. Overall, a bit pricey for what it was food wise. I'd probaby just come here for coffee and a treat if i were to go back, which isn't all that likely. On a sunny but chilly Monday morning I started riding my bike... I started at 9 am and got home after 6 pm. 110 kms! I have to pat myself on the back for that! We got to Twassawsen at about 1 pm (seems slow but one of the guys got 2 flats and we took about 45 mins to patch them up) and we stopped by for a quick lunch at the Wood n Frog Coffee Shop. I ordered a pellegrino and the teriyaki chicken wrap. First off there was no teriyaki in my wrap! Why do they call it a teriyaki wrap when there is clearly no teriyaki in this wrap? Ok maybe it was cold and I was a tired and in a nasty mood but I did not enjoy this wrap! I could only consume about 40 percent of it and than junked the rest. The wrap really lacked any flavor what so ever. And it seems like all the chicken was displayed in the middle if the wrap. After the first bite there was barely any chicken left. Again maybe it was my mistake to expect a decent lunch from what is essentially a coffee shop! I'll come here again and give them a try...when I'm looking for a cup of coffee not when I'm looking for a lunch. read more

Spent a couple of mornings in here reading and enjoying the best lattes I have ever had. I brought my baby with me and Billy & the staff were so friendly and accommodating. This place serves some of the best coffee ever and have amazing monthly drink specials. The atmosphere is bright but cozy and has lots of seating inside and out. The food is tasty, I love the masala wraps. But the selection is somewhat limited. Everything I've tried on the menu was fantastic, just be prepared to wait a little bit as they don't use microwaves to heat the food up.
