This has to be the worst run McDonalds in Denham Springs earth. Either the Valuzzo's don't care or they don't. 10 minutes just to place an order and another 10 just to get the food. Cars are constantly backed up and no one seems to know what the second pickup window is for. I don't get it! My review is not about the eating experience, but about the staff. I have recently been hired and am just now receiving my scheduling, but that is not the issue. The managers in this particular McDonalds are horrible. The lady that hired me was extremely forgetful, and my interview was awkward because she would hardly speak. She didn't ask any questions about my personal life at all, and she didn't ask for my age until I had already been hired. I also had to come back inside several minutes after my interview because she forgot to give me my paperwork that she was supposed to give me before I left. The general manager, Payton, did not help this experience. He texted me around 1.5 weeks after I got hired with my schedule, but I informed him that I haven't been able to turn in my paperwork because school is not in session at the moment because of our winter break. Since I am a minor, it is typically required that I should need to return my work permit with a signature from my school so I can work. However, Payton would not answer my questions, and I would continue asking each time he sent a text that had nothing to do with what I asked. My last text I sent him yesterday afternoon, was repeating my question that he had still not answered to double check if he is still wanting me to come in. I texted him back each time within 5 mins of a response, and I ultimately got left on delivered all night. Earlier this morning, I texted him for confirmation to see if he still wants me to come in to work, even though I do not have a signature saying that I can. I have been on read ever since. The management here is very sloppy and confusing. It is very easy to get a job here, but the next steps are not well assisted. read more

Definitely will never be back at this McDonald's ever again. Horrible customer service, and staff sounds illiterate. I just waited 15 minutes for them to take my order and the first thing they say is "yea?" At the drive-thru. Pretty sure they spit in my food considering half of it was thrown together and looked sloppy. The least you can do is put a f*****g smile on your face. Would leave 1 star if I could. Honestly this place doesn't deserve a star. My dads deaf in one year and usually goes in but because of covid he has to use drive thru. We ordered two fries and two cokes. Just to make sure because my dad can't hear we asked at the window if they got it. The man says yep and I'm like okay good and we pull up after paying. We receive one fry and one cokes. While we trying to explain to them we payed for it and the worker is yelling saying how no we did not and we said well we will pay for it and she said nope and shuts the window. I have been in Denham approximately one month and this McDonald's is the Worst ever encountered in my life. 90 percent of the time after midnight they won't answer the drive thru window or they will tell you the system is down (system is down for roughly 30 minutes but they won't tell you). The times of operation isn't on the Windows as you use the drive-through, you have no idea if they are open or closed at night but there are cars in the parking lot past 11pm at night. read more
