Great atmosphere and place to stop by after a night out. Workers were friendly and food was good!

Watched one of the lady employees sneeze into her glove when making another persons order in front of me and continued to make the sandwich with said glove today. didnt even change her glove or wash her hands. many other times when i would visit this location and she was working she would try to prove she can make your order by making you say all the toppings you wanted and would wait until you finished and then start adding them, but would still get the order wrong. when i would dine-in she would be on her phone at the cashier with gloves still on. very unprofessional and egotistical. read more

I went to subway today starving, and the lady that was doing the bread meat and cheese, is a terrible employee. I asked for italian bread, and she keeps saying "italian herb and cheese" so I repeated myself again saying I want the italian bread, making it very clear I wanted the white bread. After three times of asking, I just accepted that she wasn't gonna let me have the regular italian bread. Then my friend who ordered begin me also asked for the italian bread but this time she worded it very specific saying "Can i have the artisan italian" and the lady pulls out the italian herb and cheese, my friend tells the lady no I want the artisan italian. She lady proceeds to say the is the artisan italian. At this point both me and my friend are extremely pissed off because for one, this lady doesn't know how to do her job, and all I wanted was the italian bread. And for two, she was extremely rude about it as if we were the problem. To top this all off, another lady behind us went, the lady asked for "white" bread and the employee immediately pulled out the italian bread me and my friend asked for. I don't go to subway too often anymore, but I used to go a lot. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, one of the four sandwiches that I'd always ordered. I know pretty well how it should taste, and the chicken this time was nauseating. You know when you bite into some chicken and you can just tell that it is FAR from fresh? I bit into it, and the crunch and chewiness it had was ....unsettling. Aside from the texture, the taste was It had this really strange artificial "smokey" taste which completely overpowered any taste of chicken. It was not good. I've gone to this subway for almost five years now and it was never that bad. The veggies were fresh though, so that's something. Maybe it's just the chicken, maybe the other meats are fine, or maybe it's just the chicken at this particular location. The drive-through line goes pretty quickly in the morning. Usually takes no more than five or six minutes to get my smoothie on the way to work. The people have their stuff together for the most part. Not as fined tuned on the weekends though. I only wish they would give you the price at the drive-through window instead of making you go up to the window to find out when you actually get your smoothie. It would have some time allowed for me to get my money ready to make it quicker. Aside from that no complaints. Lots of options for any type you want over there. read more

This is the best Subway I've ever been to. Customer service is fantastic. The sandwich artists make your salads and sandwiches taste better by how they're crafting them...even though they're the same subway vegetables you already know. I've never been here and the ingredients haven't looked fresh. I've never eaten from here and been unsatisfied. read more

There is a reason that this subway is the only location in Baton Rouge with more than 1 or 2 stars. It's a subway within a Walmart for crying out loud but why is it so good? The customer service here is fantastic. I work for several food delivery services and frequent local restaurants all the time. More often than not, the staff treats DD/waits drivers like a hassle (instead of potential or current customers). It's frustrating but I get it. I'm always on the lookout for businesses that stick out in terms of kindness and patience. The other day I went in and had to wait for the order to be completed. Not a problem to wait a few minutes. They were busy but everyone was happy to wait. What impressed me was the owner. He was overly kind to everyone he interacted with and even offered me a snack for my wait (absolutely not required!). I declined but wished him well during a busy lunch rush. Not all subways are created equal! Try this one out if you find yourself craving a meatball sub :) read more

The service at this Subway is the best service I have ever gotten. They really went above and beyond to ensure our meal was amazing. The sandwich artist in the green bandana asked us each time a topping was added if it was enough, and even asked to warm MY COOKIES! Have y'all ever had a subway worker ask for your cookies to be warmed?!?!? AND ALSO they came over and asked if our meal was okay while we were eating so sweet so awesome 10/10 reccomend. read more

Wow!! My friends and I came during the lunch rush. When We first got to the door, we saw the long line and almost left because we thought it would be a long wait. I'm so happy that we went in anyway!! Despite a busy rush all within five minutes, the three workers on the line remained calm and confident and they worked through that line faster than you can say "Footlong Cold Cut Combo on white bread please." I like Subway. I like this Subway, and the workers are always nice here. I just don't like how seldom they change their gloves. I noticed that one of the workers answered the phone with gloves on and didn't change them, and another worker operated the register and finished sandwiches with the same pair of gloves. I hope no one gets sick. read more

First off, this place is rude and treat the homeless and handicapped cruelly. I witnessed this when I ate here last year. A man came in with his arm in a sling(Ok I dont know if he was homeless or not but who comes in at 8 a.m. to use the bathroom and then leave?) Due to his arm, it took him some time to use the bathroom, which was apparent to everyone but the manager, who promptly told hiom not to come back. I was about to offer to get a sandwich for this poor soul but he went outside and hopped in a car, so I guess he wasnt that homeless, still, the manager should be more understanding of people who are handicapped. Several of my friends and family are, so I wont be back here ever again. Screw Subway! read more
