We very literally refer to this McDonald's as the "5-star McDonald's". Never in our history of McDonald's experiences have we been so consistently pleased with the food and service as we have at this location. Understand that I'm writing this review after at least 10 visits between my husband and me. He loves the people and raves constantly about how good a simple cheeseburger is every time he orders. Tonight was no exception. We always save money through the app and we had a ton of nuggets ordered. There was no one in line so I assumed we would get something super fresh or cold and rubbery. Not at all!! They were perfect as if they planned for our visit. My spicy chicken had the perfect amount of extra mayo and pickles that I love. I haven't been inside but my husband says everything is clean, including the restrooms. The parking lot is well kept and the drive-thru is easily accessible. This will forever be our go to and the standard for every other McDonald's. I can only hope that corporate sees this and gives them every award possible! We love our McDonald's!!! read more

My order was slow, wrong, ladies here were not responding and ignoring me this McDonald's is a disgrace

I placed a mobile order on 7/16 and when I got home the hamburger was missing from the happy meal box. I called the restaurant to let them know and the man answered "hello" like he just woke up. I explained what my burger was missing and he hung up on me. I called back a second time and explained what happened again and the man didn't say anything but stayed on the line. I could hear the background noise. I said hello and he hung up on me again. I called a third time on my way back to the store. They did not answer. I drove back to the store and went back through the drive through and explained what happened. I pulled around and waited and a light skin woman peeked around the window, laughed while looking at me and covered her mouth as if to hide the fact she was laughing at me. Girl... you were too old to be acting like a teenager and laughing because your coworkers messed up. A month ago they gave the car in front of me MY order and then when I pointed it out and they had to remake my order it was missing items and I had to go back. Get it together! Managers should have employees checking orders before handing them out. I'll be driving to the Annapolis location from now on. I would leave zero stars if that was available. I placed a mobile order later in the evening and proceeded to head to the location. I checked in and was sitting in a curbside spot for more than 30 minutes hearing nothing from the store. We drove around to the drive through to be greeted with "what do you want" to which we replied we have a mobile order and have been waiting in a curbside spot for a while just hoping this would be faster. We proceeded to sit in the drive through for another 30 minutes and when we finally got an employee to the window she screamed at us that there was only two of them and to get lost. Ordered on the mobile app for curbside pickup. put in my space number got message my order was received and the app said the food would be out in 2 to 5 minutes, I waited 20 minutes, finally go inside, no one at the counter so I finally said can I get my order, the woman goes over and grabs the bag, so I said it was sitting there getting cold, she changes out the fries which were cold as well. she says nobody wants to go out in the rain. Waited so long at the drive-through with my window down in the cold for someone to take my order that I gave up and went to Arbys. Yes, I'm serious. Picture for proof. After sitting nearly five minutes at the drive through waiting on someone to acknowledge me sitting in the cold with my window down, I asked if anyone was there. I got told "just a second." About half a minute passes and I say that this is getting silly and it would be faster at this rate for me to drive down the street and go to Arby's. Apparently, he thought I was kidding, laughed, and said that he would be right with me. After another 30 seconds of sitting with my window down in the cold and no signs of someone taking my order, I said that I'm going to Arby's at the count of 5. I counted slowly to five and no answer. I left, went to Arby's and got the same 2 for $5 deal that McDonald's was offering and was served right away with zero delays. I get that it's McDonald's, I get it isn't 5-star service, but leaving a customer literally sitting in the cold for over five minutes at the drive-through order section is unacceptable. read more

I went into this McDonald's and placed my order on the kiosk and then had to pay for it at the counter because I needed to split it between two cards because it was a two family order I asked the girl if she knew how to split it she said yes and then she told me to go ahead and enter my card I said is it going to split it between the two cards she said I don't know I put my card in and it was declined because I didnt have enough on there so then I had to use my grandmothers card and put all the money on her card she was not happy and then the girl proceeded to ignore me the rest of the time I was there This is my only frustrating I feel like if you can't do it be honest and say I don't know how to split it and then ask somebody else don't just stand there and stare blankly at me. Stopped by today to try the chicken biscuit sandwich. ITWAS GROSS !!!! The biscuit was a sponge pretending to be a biscuit and the chicken ( if you can call it that ) was stringy and overly breaded and dried out on the ends . I also ordered an apple pie which was tasty but cold . If you want a chicken biscuit go somewhere else . On a good note the guy at the counter was ok, kinda friendly but seemed side- tracked , although it was 1:30 in the afternoon and nobody in there. (My girls are HUGE Pokémon fans) and about the pickles. i Also ordered a few other things and 2 LARGE FRIES. i just got home to find, ONE Pokémon toy. In ONE HAPPY MEAL (now anyone with kids knows how much of a big deal it is for ONE child to get a toy and not the other two). ALSO, only ONE-TWO PICKLES on each burger!!!! also, I DID NOT HAVE MY FRIES...... that right there (the fries, the extra pickle, and the TWO toys that were missing) is about $15 .... and NOW I CANNOT GET AHOLD OF THEM. it cannot be that hard to do this? Edgewater McDonald's is the worst. They never have all items on the menu available. Shakes, cafe's forget it. Better check your orders as they can't get them right. Their curbside is slow. Their app works half the time. They lack management and procedures. Go in one time and watch how some stand around while others run around trying to do everything. The only reason I am giving this two stars is because I do happen to like McDonalds. Their food is sub-par but its quick to eat in a hurry. This store however has this annoying policy that they do not serve lunch until 10:30. As if there is nothing else to worry about in their store, this seems to be the only policy that they focus on. On multiple occasions I have arrived at 10:28 or 10:29 and have been told, Lunch is not available yet. So i have been polite and ordered breakfast and went on my way. Today I once again arrived at 10:28. I tried to stall getting to the drive-through however could not help but arrive the minute the time changed to 10:29. The young lady over the speaker told me that Lunch is not being served yet. I asked her when it would be ready. She stated that the food was not done yet and they are only selling breakfast. I finally got irritated and told her don't worry about it then and I went to leave. Out of curiosity since the store had not other customers, I simply drove around the building back to the speaker and arrived to it right at 10:30. I placed the same order, Two chicken snack wraps, the young lady gave me my total and asked me to pull forward!!! I was BEYOND FRUSTRATED that i had to waste my time like this just to get my order. Absolutely ridiculous! Now to make it worse, I got to the window to receive my food and was asked to pull into a window and wait (5 minutes i waited for my order) I just really don't understand..... Now i realize its a fast food macdonalds and well, it isn't a high end restaurant. I eat at this Mcdonalds all the time, its on the way up and back from delivery routes and has a big parking lot next door to take a lunch break in. It's never been a great one but hey, its just a Mcdonalds. What i did not like one day a month ago was ordering inside and a woman and myself waiting for our order just watched hundreds of flies flying about in the food prep area, over the menu signs, everywhere. Cooks and workers were dodging and swatting clouds of flies about the area. Disgusting. So i called up the AA health board and reported the place, and told them about the flies and they really needed to clean up that mess asap. 1 or 2 flies, hey it happens you can clear them up when your able. Ordered very basic food; sausage, 2 strips of bacon, and a plain oatmeal. They could only manage to get the sausage right. Bacon was beyond over cooked (that's putting it nicely) and the oatmeal had the milk/creamer poured on it and no one bothered to mix it so bite in and just POWDER and dry oats. It wasn't just gag worthy, it was disgusting. A toddler can make oatmeal but grown adults can't? That's pathetic and inexcusable. read more

Its a mcdonalds, staffed with immigrant workers making your order who don't speak english in the back. What do you expect. I stopped by during dinner and placed a simple dollar menu order.. 2 mcdoubles, 2 mcchickens and large soda. The place was understaffed, overworked, and a lot of customers. One of the sorta-managers was constantly yelling in spanish to the back, i guess to work on stuff. So after 13 minutes (ordered at 3:47, now its 4:00) no food, others behind me were getting their stuff. So i went to counter and said "did you all forget my order?" seems they did, they quickly put it together and sent me on my way. How can you forget an order thats ON THE COMPUTER! you put it in the computer for a reason.
