Besides the tiny streets, tolls and bridges. There's a main reason I don't come to the northeast, ESPECIALLY Maryland. Why you ask? The people are just flat out rude. Not to mention condescending, pretentious, overall just very unpleasant and unhappy people. Such as whom I think may have been the manager at this store. Bigger gal, curly hair, light skin complexion, walking around with consta-sneer on her face, you can really tell she hates life. I made a mobile order, and I forgot to switch it from drive-thru to pick up. I walk in the store, we made eye contact probably four or five times, I smiled at her a couple times, as she just turned around and walked back and forth gathering other orders not even acknowledging me standing there. It was a HUGE and utterr inconvenience to her that I made this mistake, because she had to walk a whole extra 3 ft to find my order. She gets my order and sticks it in the "online order" box, I tell her "thank you", then turns around, STILL with that look on her face and goes back into the kitchen. Not once did this woman acknowledge me, thank me, or say one single word to me. Walking around the back mad dogging everybody that came in. IF she is the manager, you guys need to rectify this. The other two younger girls were very nice. I can say however the store was super clean. Now my food. My fries were cold and limp. My Big Mac, basically the same. Rancid-tasting (sour-ish) unsweetened ice tea is back! They had a good thing going for awhile with freshly-made daily (as it should be). No longer what's happening after months of reliability. The past 2 times I went (this week) - rancid! It clearly has sat overnight or multiple nights. Gross! My husband went in the first time and told someone who gave us something else. I went back today & did not even taste it until leaving. (I should have! Was talking to my husband & had a memory lapse.) This location improved after I complained to - the Owner, I think - and here we are. All signs pointing to a lack of proper protocols with making the tea fresh daily; allowing it to sit overnight or over multiple nights; and a general lack of concern over it even after a customer has pointed it out. Terrible customer service!!! The evening of Feb. 8th - we stopped at the Belle Hill McDonald's to exchange drinks we purchased from the McDonald's at the previous exit. We didn't taste them until we returned to 95. Instead of turning around, I thought we would continue to our destination and stop at the next McDonald's off the interstate to exchange them. The manager refused to make things right by replacing our full drinks that tasted flat. She only kept repeating herself and saying they aren't from this location - I can't help you!! I told her our situation but she didn't care and flatly refused to help!!! I have NEVER encountered such a rude and unprofessional manager at McDonald's!!! I came here for a pit stop driving on my way to New York. I ordered two sausage burritos for less than $2.50. I know for sure that finding any kind of affordable fast food at any of the rest stops off of the turnpike will be an impossibility. The last time I rolled through here must have been at least 5 years. I usually take the bus to New York, but this time I'm driving. Every other food choice along this journey is notoriously super expensive. So for the convenience factor, I would rate this place as 5 stars. Absolutely amazing location! Major shout-outs to the manager, working on July 13th, 2019 @ 9am. Such a great guy, he doesn't even know how much his kindness impacted our day. He was so helpful, respectful, and accommodating. On my drive back to NY, I my family and I stopped at the Aberdeen location, and the order that I received was a complete disaster. The food was cold, the hash browns were stale, and they didn't give me any syrup or utensils for my pancakes. The staff too, seemed extremely incompetent. (Wish I discovered this immediately, because I would have returned the order, right then and there.) However, I found this location, (maybe 5 miles away) and I am so grateful!!! The manager, without hesitation re-did the order, and sent us on our way with good conversation, and satisfaction. This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. I placed my order and when I go to the window I asked to do an add on. I was charged. When I got to the window my order was incorrect plus my add on was not on there. Now the girl who took my order did not give me my receipt with the change. All they had to do was ask her for it. This is the last time I will order food from this McDonald's. I have order inside the the restaurant and through the drive through and have never received a complete meal I could just sit down and enjoy. I have had my order come with missing food, missing requested sauces, the wrong size fries. Fries where the box was not opened properly so you do not receive a full large fry. This McDonald's has gone very downhill. It used to be alright for a McDonald's but we've had numerous issues with this place in our last two outings. Our food was undercooked and not properly done. The bathrooms are disgusting. The workers are slow. We had a 20 piece that was served cold and bone dry, and asked them to give us another. After waiting 10 minutes, we got another batch but it looked identical! Following this, we immediately left with the food still on the table. Wow, this place is legit. I ordered the fillet-o-fish meal and friend ordered the double cheeseburger. The fish was really tender and juicy. The fries were fresh and soft. The waiter even gave us extra ketchup and fries at no extra charge. We had a the chocolate sundae and apple pie for dessert, it was HUGE so we split it. Prices are CHEAP. Both of our meals together cost 12 dollars, now that's a deal. Bring your husband here for your anniversary, cheap, good food...what more could a man want? read more

I've been coming here for years, but this one creep has stood out enough for me to actually write. I've never actually felt it necessary to leave a Yelp review but I'm getting fed up about this. Now, first things first: understand that the food is give or take. It always depends on the kitchen staff, but the crew working lunch is often the quickest. Night orders take practically forever, but it's a franchise location so I guess that makes sense. The cashiers could be confused with robots once they get some experience down with how well they take orders, and they're even doing custodial and hand-out work in-between tending to customers. This handful of staff makes corporate-owned locations look inexperienced! Everyone but the dude I'm describing below is great!! So, back to that creep I mentioned in my intro: there's this one shorter dude that I never catch the name of. Brown hair, freckles, that typical white boy look. So what gives him the "creep" description? He is always just hanging around, telling people to do things for him. I'm never back there, but he does this right in the front of the store! So I can even catch him looking at obvious minors in a perverted way. Now, I can't really tell if he's 18 and up, but I usually see him there during the school day so I guess at the very least he's a drop out. In any case, there's this obvious "get away" vibe the women and girls all share when they're near him. I can't really catch their conversations, but they always seem so tense and seem rather relieved when he goes somewhere else. There aren't that many boys or men working at front so I don't know if it's a whole crew thing or just girls and women. TL;DR: This dude does nothing and tells others to do their work. He is always checking out obvious minors and the female staff doesn't seem calm around him. Everyone else is always busy and doing a great job, but this dude's just on his phone! read more
