Stopped here while starting my drive down the Eastern Shore. Small friendly cafe. About fifteen seats. Keep right as you enter, they have a one-way system! A few steps from the Canal

I drive from Virginia to NYC every two months and each time I like to experience different locally owned coffee shops along the way. This one was a gem! I loved the water views when siting outside. I also loved all the different flavor options offered. Service was friendly and sandwiches were delish! I had a bagel egg sandwich and the bagel was really soft. Everything was freshly made. Overall I really enjoyed it! Thank you.

Cute little spot. Lots of options for coffee, flavors! Breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We got a sandwich and walked across the street to park! Gorgeous scenery, right on water. Affordable prices as well - Americano, 2 breakfast sandwiches and 4 cookies under $20!! Indoor and outdoor seating.

Use to be my go to place/ service has gone down/you're waiting and will have to go up and ask for your drink and food. food and drinks have gone downhill. My bagels are never toasted/warmed, cream cheese always tastes a little too sour/expired. I always order my go to drink and it's never consistent. It'll either be too much of something or not enough.

Quaint little cafe to enjoy a cheaper, quicker bite to eat than a sit down restaurant in town. Overhearing a suggestion from a staff member over at the Chesapeake Inn and Restaurant for a better coffee or other cafe beverages I decided to stop in for a Mint Hot Chocolate while watching the boats sail by outside. I can imagine it gets busier during the summer time or during breakfast but that day there were two women enjoy their lunch break when I stopped in and who I can imagine the owner patiently waiting while I took in the menu and asked my question. Within minutes I were enjoy my beverage outside at their sidewalk tables while reading the history of the building that now houses the cafe. They seem to have options for breakfast and lunch served all day and I fully enjoyed my drink roaming the street reading about the history of the area while keeping warm and minty fresh!

Stopped in on a Sunday morning and OMG it's so BUSY!! First impressions are it's a cute place but not enough tables or just space in general. Street parking is the only option but you are close to the water. They have a small breakfast to-go menu as well. If you're going to spend the day getting lunch and hanging by the water this is your best coffee option in the area!

Love Love Love Cafe on The Bay. They have an excellent selection of breakfast sandwiches & lunch options. The Cheesesteak Panini & the Chicken Salad wrap are my favorites. They have delicious fresh muffins and cookies as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. They make everyone feel so welcome. The Cafe is clean and smells like freshly brewed coffee whenever I am there. The outdoor seating is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the ships go by. And if you have your pup with you, they even have pup-cups.

Cute little window service cafe to grab coffee, iced tea, cinnamon buns, sandwiches, etc. Some friends and I recently stopped by for some drinks and I also got a few cinnamon buns - they were warm and very good. We go to Chesapeake City fairly often to peruse the shops - will definitely stop by Cafe on the Bay again sometime.

BLUF: Go check it out, you won't regret it…read more TLDR: OMG I'm so glad I stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop on cozy Main Street in North East, MD. It was just me, so I only got half a dozen donuts with a knife so I could taste them all! I tried: Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, Maple Bacon, Toasted Coconut, Chai, and Fluffernuter. Let me start by saying the cake part of these donuts is just perfect. Not too dense, lightly crisp on the outside, and insanely fresh. The toppings might sound over the top, but they weren't. They were perfectly subtle to add a hint of flavor without a dose of diabetes. And the coffee- such unique lattes both in name and flavors. I went with Davy Joey's Locker with an extra shot of espresso. So good. Not overly sweet and not bitter at all. And then I just had to try the cute little pistachio cannoli. Shell was filled upon ordering, so the shell was nice and crispy. Now this was super sweet, but I haven't met a cannoli yet that wasn't! Barista was friendly & bubbly and patient when it took me some time to pick my 6 donuts. Basic tables and chairs with some bench seating along the window. Pillows & chairs could use a refresh, as well as the bathroom, looking a bit worn & dingy, but that's literally the only negative thing about this place.
