I had a very disappointing experience with my order. My McChicken bun had visible mold on it, which was extremely upsetting and made me question the food safety. On top of that, the fries were so overcooked and burnt that they were completely inedible. I ended up throwing most of the meal away. I expect better quality and food safety from McDonald's, and I hope this location improves its standards so no one else has this experience because it's absolutely unacceptable and disgusting we waited 40minutes in line and whenever we got up to the window we had to repeat the order to the worker and had to wait another 30 minutes in line just to actually get the food! I will say they have new workers in their that are training but serving moldy food and burnt fries to a customer is no excuse and a friend of mine went there a week ago and complained the sweet tea tasted like chemicals and now they are serving moldy buns and burnt fries in my baby sister's happy meal I really hope someone sees this review and sends someone to do a health inspection because this is disgraceful read more

Stopped there on the way back to Birmingham July 5, 2026 around 2:30 pm. Ordered and paid at the kiosk because there was no one at the counter. I only ordered a large fry and 2 large Diet Cokes. I waited for at least 10 minutes to get my order (I actually got 2 large fries - oh well). There was very little ice and the Diet Coke was flat (this was at the self-serve drink machine!). I observed other unhappy customers, even a lady who walked in after ordering a Diet Coke from the drive-thru. She was not happy that her drink was flat and she asked for a refund. No cash drawer at the counter. No one even came to refill the carbonation at the drink dispenser. She waited for a few minutes and then left without her refund. I heard a very loud employee complaining about the place being understaffed and how she was "just gonna walk out." Doubt I will ever stop there again. At least the fries were fresh and delicious! Update- Horrible service added an hour to our trip. Waited 20 minutes for someone to get our order and then 20 minutes to pay. The lady who took our order had a whole convo about some "lady in the front who" did this and that" with a coworker before telling us to "pull up". The lady who gave us our food was also having a conversation in which she said "I'm tired of working myself like a dog" then shut the window in our faces. If I could give zero stars I would! I never write reviews; however, this place was horrible! Nobody was waiting the counter for you to order. Instead you had to use the mobile machine in the lobby. The paper was out for the receipt and order number and nobody ever replaced it after many customers after me had the same issue. Once we got our order and noticed we didn't have ketchup I asked for some. I was then told they were out. NONE in the whole restaurant. No ketchup in McDonald's?! What on earth. Ok, so could we get some kind of sauce? Nope not unless you paid extra. The ladies restroom also did not have toilet paper. This McDonald's is located off of I-65. Although they were very busy today, the line moved quickly and the food was served pretty quickly as well. The beverages were fine, the sandwich was a bit messy when we opened it. The staff was nice enough. This is a good location if you are hungry and don't want to venture further down to Mobile or go to far off of the exit. read more

Understaffed to the point where they need to shut down until they can hire enough workers to operate effectively. I waited 45 minutes to get an ice cold meal. The store was out of many items but the kiosk still let you order the out of stock items. This caused huge problems and slowed things down even more, especially considering that they were so short staffed that there were no registers open. You could only order through the kiosks. One star only because zero isn't an option!! Went thru the drive thru and used a code for a free kids meal from the app. The cashier took my phone which I use to pay for my purchase. Once I finished my food and seen the receipt I noticed that the kids meal was not taken off, I went back and requested a refund and the store refused, a girl in the drive thru window said that because the cashier rang the items up separately that the code wouldn't work and that they would not refund the money. This is the worst McDonald's in the country. I can confidently say that since I travel all over the country. We made an order on the app and was given a dry burger that wasn't what we ordered. We were told "we don't make that burger". The fries were all salt free, and we were told that they are "out of salt". The drinks in the machine, half were "out" or no syrup in them. There was no artificial sweetener for the tea. I'm diabetic and have sodium issues. I can't have the diet drinks. But there are no other choices here. The entire staff were playing in the back, dancing and singing and not giving any kind of decent customer service. Terrible, they got my order wrong and my Big Mac bun was as hard as cardboard, and the meat was cold. Half the fries were hot the others were cold. I didn't complain or ask them to fix it because they seem like the kind of folks that would spit on your food.
