Wife and I live in Cornelius, and we decide cooking isn't on the agenda, so McDonald's for some quick, edible grub. Order our usual: a 20-piece McNugget meal to share, and buck burgers. Done this 100 times at various MickyD's all over the place. So they put together our order and only one medium fries and one drink cup are on the tray. I ask where are the others, and they say "oh, the meal only comes with one fries and one drink". "Since when?" I reply. The 20 piece nugz by themselves are $4.99. The meal is $9.79. So that's Four-fucking-dollars and eighty cents for ONE medium Fries and ONE medium drink. Nowhere on the menu does it mention this. Speak with the manager, and she says "well, the 20-piece Nuggets are normally $7.98, so the meal price reflects that." ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. I'm charged more for the 20-piece because it's part of a meal? No other McDonalds on Earth does this. I politely ask for my money back for the entire transaction and walk out, leaving a tray of food on the counter. That's complete and total bullshit. Small-town McDonalds, you gotta love them for fucking their customers any way they can because they think they have a captive customer base. Stay away from this rip-off place like the plague. Every time I go to McDonalds I have the exact same thing so I can't really say for spicy chicken sandwich and whatnot. I have a double cheeseburger only ketchup and I have to say that while it's delicious they do not put enough ketchup on. Luckily though the ketchup packets make that a quick fix and they put enough on I still like without all the extra ketchup. Their fries are some of the best fries I have ever tasted also. I really like the renovations. One of the main reasons are the big windows. I am a huge fan of big windows and they have at least 5 tables next to them. read more

I went through the drive-through of this McDonald's every day for breakfast for a week now and there isn't one day they didn't screw anything up. One morning I got two breakfast burritos instead of a sausage McGrillen meal. The next day they forgot my hashbrowns. The day after that it took then three times before they got it right. I Went through the drive-through twice to get it fixed and finally the third time I had to stop and actually knock on the door to have the manager come out so that I can speak with him so that I can get my order corrected. Tonight my daughter ordered through Uber eats. When they forgot her chicken nuggets and two sweet teas and she tried to go back the manager told her they couldn't do anything about it that she had to contact Uber eats. The thing is, when Uber eats picks the food up it's sealed with a sticker so how can they be held responsible for the order if they can't even check the order when they pick it up. It's absolutely ridiculous. Personally I think it's worth the extra gas to go all the way to another McDonald's instead. McDonalds in Forest Grove drive thru SUCKS i drive thru to get a medium cup of hot carmel mocha . 99 percent of the time they dont stir it even when i ask them to make sure to stir well so sometimes i turn around wait in line again maybe three to five minutes to try to get the employees to do it right. i have had to even ask the person at the window for a spoon in case its not i have even ask the person if they stirred well and they say yes. guess what around i go again . My girlfriend and I stopped by our local McDonalds to get some late night snacks and sweet tea. We asked if they had a six piece chicken nugget meal to which they replied no, and that was no issue. I have a gluten intolerance, which makes going to fast food restaurants a bit difficult and I don't frequent McDonalds often so I was unfamiliar with the menu. So I proceeded to inquire if there was any GF options on the menu to which the employee told us to "stop acting like we have never read the menu" with a very abrasive tone. We treat the kids to McDonalds two to three times a month and we would use this one due to convenience but no more. First of all you are more likely than not to get rude service. We have repeatedly received incorrect orders, so check it before you drive off but be advised you may get some hostility when you do. We have found spicy nuggets mixed with regular nuggets twice in a happy meal no less and on one of those times the manager just couldn't or wouldn't understand why that may be a problem. There is always at least one beggar at the exit taking advantage of the difficulty to the enter the congested road when exiting to accost the customers. Most uncomfortable experience with any server I've ever encountered. I understand being upset or angry working a holiday, but that doesn't mean you can openly pour that into a customer. After a long travel I went to McDonald's ordered, paid, for our order and headed home. We are our fries out of the bag on the way home and I started into my order and to my surprise it wasn't what I ordered, being a holiday I let it go and ate it any way, shortly after my spouse did the same and realized his order was all wrong as well. So I decided to go back to see if I could get my actual order that I pause for and the following occurred: first guy at the counter went to another woman and asked what I had, and she (loudly whispered) said no, tell them it's because they are some of it...I then offered to skip the ones I ate and exchange for the ones I actually ordered and the lady (who had already gave me an unnecessary attitude) said she would see what she could do, which was yell out for another order and then turn around and drop a bag in front of me with the only response of "Here." This is my local Mc D's, so I'm here quite a bit if I need my fix, the closest one is in North Plains or downtown Hillsboro. The service is pretty usual, they're fast and get everything in the correct order, no issues. The place is pretty crammed at times when I do eat inside, the "drink station" shows real signs of the messy population that can't seem to throw anything away even though the trash is like 2 feet away. They have an indoor playground though, so I think people come here to dump off their kids for some free playtime, so the kids mostly make the mess. I've only dined in several times for this reason. They do have free WiFi, which I didn't use but I'm sure that's why the guy I've dubbed " FG Gandalf the grey" pretty much lives in the front of the store. He's sitting in the same spot, literally every time I go through the drive through or am in the store. FG is full of strangers though ( I have a list). I was at the Redbox out front last week and I saw an older lady, in a Rascal, pulling a homemade wagon with an animal cage that contained 2 cats in clothes. Yes....no lie, I don't have a name for her yet....she has to have at least 2 confirmed sightings to make the list. Also, good luck on getting back out onto the street if you use the drivethru, you will eventually give up and turn right, unless that's what you normally were going to do anyway. I've also dubbed the middle turning lane in front of the store "The gauntlet", as people are trying to use it as a temp turning lane, in/out of the parking lot. LOOK OUT! read more

We have special orders every single time we come through and we've come through probably at least once a month for the last 12 years. I think they've only screwed up our order 2-3 times. Not bad. The renovation was okay, and the play structure is pretty good. The only thing that really bothers me is how few tables are in the play place now. It was the most popular place to sit before and now there is hardly any room. Someone should have use their brain when they planned the renovation. Also, what the crap is up with 4 motorcycle spots right in front of the redbox. I don't think I've ever seen a motorcycle parked there. read more

Went to forest Grove McDonalds on Nov 30th, 2016 I ordered a hamburger kids meal ketchup only apple slices and apple juice and then I ordered a Big Mac meal with no cheese and lg sweet tea no ice.. The person taking my order asked me to confirm my order and I everything looks great and drove to cashier and she asked me big meal and kids meal no cheese and sweet tea and I yes and I paid for my meal. Pick up my meal thinking everything was correct, I get home and the kids meal correct BUT I didn't get a big mac meal instead I got 2 chicken sandwiches. The receipt clearly says Big Mac meal. Every time I go there I ask for NO cheese and they put cheese on the Big mac Meal. This is frustrating and they want 15.00 per hr I think NOT.... read more

This McDonald's gets two stars from me because of the renovation and nothing else. McDonald's are usually all the same because they are required to but when it comes to service here they are lacking and could of used renovation itself. I always find myself having to come back to fix my order and have had to waited 10 minutes or more in the drive through because they have had to wait on something to cook or even once just plain forget about me. I hate this place and usually find myself driving into Hillsboro or North plains if I want a better experience. You can only make a bad McDonald's so much better by a remodel. read more

I eat at many different McDonalds while on business trips and this one is one of the best.I eat here pretty regularly and at all different times and so I've seen about everybody they have working. I always found the staff friendly and attentive. There always seems to be someone right at the counter ready to take my order unlike many mcDonalds I've encountered, The food is cheap and served fast . I can't really address the complaints of cold food as I've never encountered that at this macDonalds.If that happened I can't imagine them not trying make it right as soon as they're told. They have on rare occasions messed up my order but they always make it right and I've never encountered the "attitude" mentioned in one of the other reviews, perhaps it's a case of you give "attitude " and you might get it back. read more

So, today 12/08/11 at 11:10am I go through the drive up and order a medium coke and a medium peppermint hot chocolate. Easy enough order right? NOT! I had to repeat the order two additional times at the drive up cashier's request and an additional two times at the pay window!! And guess what when I got to work I had 1 medium coke and 1 peppermint mocha! wtf??? After numerous calls to them and only getting a busy signal I tried the North Plains Mc D's to make sure I had the correct phone #. The mexican gal said she couldn't give that info to me, I asked for management and she said she was the manager! I asked for the phone # to the Polins and she refused any info stating I had wrong owner info. I asked for her name and she refused to give it or her employee id# stating she didn't know what my name was, I told her and only then did she say her name was Sara and wouldn't tell me anymore info. What a cluster f these places are!!!! I hope McD's monitors these comments because I refuse to go back there until they train their employees correctly and that they understand state and federal laws on disclosure. read more

The food is good.. But the customer service is not so great.. I have seen over the lpast few years, the employees who take your order and the employees who deliver it, are not friendly. Very few smiles, how are you doing, is there anything else you need.. They used to ask you if you need ketchup or sauce but not anymore.. It seems like I need to provide service to them by asking everything I need and if I don't then I won't get serviced. They seem to want to just push us through the process so quickly that there is no friendly service and their service comes across as RUDE.. But the problem that I have is they seem to be taking advantage of there not being any other McDonald's close. There prices are ridiculous, I don't mind paying for my food but there markup is considerably higher than other McDonald's. I ordered a Large Ice Tea and Medium Fry. So we have been going to McDonalds since the beginning of time..... mainly because there are not that many choices in Forest Grove. They have pushed me over the top this time. After many experiences of not getting the full order I paid for and being told to come back and get the rest of it (20 minutes there, and 20 minutes back home) I refuse to accept this "solution" anymore. The way I see it is they should be delivering the food I paid for to me! I am putting the responsibility solely on the owners Dennis and Dena Poulin for really not caring and not being involved with whether or not the customers are happy. I want so badly for someone to move into town and give them some serious competition because it's certainly not their reputation that keeps them going.
