Seriously it's McDonalds, you get what you pay for. With that statement set aside, every time I've been there be it on my way after work or what ever the case maybe I always have a crummy time. Either my orders not correct, and I don't mean I request items A. B. C. I request it plain, how hard is that? Shouldn't be. After spending 10 to 20 minutes in the pull forward lane, I get my food. Only for them to forget my drink, I don't complain a lot but seriously my orders completely wrong and no drink? Seriously McDonalds? Bad experience. #1 We went into the 2nd drive thru lane and were not acknowledged. #2 We repeated our order three times (2 egg mcmuffins with bacon, one regular Egg McMuffin and one milk) and they STILL forgot the milk. #3 We used a gift card. Our total went over the gift card so we added cash. They handed us the gift card back and said it had a balance of 13¢. What? Why didn't u give us change from the cash? They can't do that. This location has really diminished in the last few years. Service is always slow in the drive thru and SUPER slow inside. They recently updated the inside decor and it looks great but I don't care if the couch I'm sitting on is art deco if my food is cold and gross. I ordered a McChicken with cheese and a sweet tea. I got a hard cold McChicken with no cheese and a coke. So I was forced to go inside and ask for my food and drink to be fixed. It took 8 minutes to replace my McChicken and I had to ask again for my drink as they forgot to replace that. In that 8 minutes I saw 5 cars go through the drive thru but only 1 customer of the 4 inside were assisted at the counter. Absolute horrible service, rude, and almost always my order is incorrect. Very poorly managed... dirty tables, dirty bathrooms, dirty floors, over flowing trash receptacles, unfriendly staff and if you order inside you are going to wait (crowded or not). I suggest skipping this one... if not, you will be disappointed. read more

I'm beginning to hate this McDonald's. I used to love this MCD because it wasn't too busy. The last 3 times I have had problems with their service. 1) the drive through speaker on the aisle I went through didn't work & no indication that there was a problem. Exasperated employee when I finally pulled forward to tell them. 2) drive through cash register didn't work & instead of taking order, they told me I had to come in to order (with a small infant that can be challenging). 3) had to pull forward & wait 10 minutes (15 min from initial order) for a Carmel frappe. Food is typical for McDonalds but the service is just getting worse & worse. read more

Slow, poor service. We ordered 1-10 piece chicken nugget and 2-cheeseburgers. We were number six in line inside with small orders in front of us. It took 16 minutes to get our order. We were kind to the manager, but said, "you've got to do something about this service." Without an apology, his reply was, "I don't have enough people." That's what a managing job entails. read more

Whenever going on long road trips it's nice to find a bathroom that at least looks like it's clean, however, this McDonald's doesn't even seem to make an effort. There is some sort of brown residue on both the toilets and urinals; it seems like they haven't been cleaned in ages. I used the bathroom only because it was my last choice. read more

I've been to this McDonald's at least 20 times from 2015-2016 and cannot recall having any huge problems. Other, maybe older reviews complain about long wait times but I've always been impressed by how quickly they push people through. Maybe that's a sign of their current problems. Sometimes the burgers I get are constructed poorly with ingredients not evenly distributed or too much or too little of an ingredient. They need to be trained for consistency. The primarily Spanish-speaking work staff are also difficult to communicate with. For example, multiple times I have asked for honey with my morning biscuit and they give me jelly instead. Don't you have at least one person working there who speaks fluent English? Put them in the Drive-thru window! read more

The portion size of the Bacon Ranch Salad is the smallest I've ever seen and it's been consistent. Even though this location is convenient I'm driving to the one on E Washington because the portions are better and the price is lower. We that eat at Mickey D's everyday notice all the little things so pay attention Mt. Comfort and any location cheating on portion size for a profit. read more

McDonald's is a hit or miss. It really depends where you are. I find their food to be edible but not my favorite. If you are traveling or in a rush McDonald's is a quick drive through. However, some McDonald's are extremely slow and have awful service. The employees either love there job or absolutely hate it, and you can tell by the way they treat their customers. All being said we all have our personal opinions about anything and everything so my opinion of McDonald's may not be the same as yours. read more

Maybe I have too high of standards for a fast food restaurant but every single time I visit this place there is something wrong with my food and the service is horrible. This could quite possibly be the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. I don't go into McDonald's expecting 5 star service and a gourmet meal, but this place is just a disaster. On my most recent visit, upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that there were quite a few people standing around waiting on food. This is never a good sign. I placed my order, then had plenty of time to observe the staff. The employees were mostly standing around arguing and yelling at the cook. The girl making the fries was also eating them. Not much food seemed to be coming from the kitchen. Several times I heard one employee yelling out customer's wait times, including the woman who had been waiting 15 mins for a happy meal and somehow received 2 Big Macs instead?? After I would guess about 20 mins, which I wouldn't know because I, as well as all other customers, did not receive a receipt, finally received my food. Wouldn't you know it... my order was wrong. No fries in my bag. Did fry girl eat all of them??? I took my order back to the counter and everyone seemed confused about what a French fry even was. I was given several blank stares, when finally one employee began arguing about who forgot to give me my fries. When asked who managed this place, I again received mostly blank stares. Whoever owns this dump needs to clean house and hire new management. I will not return. When will 0 stars become a choice on Yelp? read more

I really wanted to find something positive to say about this location so as to give it more than one star, but as the ordeal played out, I found it harder and harder to give anything but a one star review. It began when we arrived at the drive thru. The attendant began with the usual greeting then stopped half way through and told us to hang on. Once she got back on she started to ask us what we wanted but cut off again to talk to someone. This happened one more time where we could hear the conversation through the drive through speaker. Once we started ordering, the attendant became confused when we ordered a simple coffee drink and this confusion carried out through the ordering process, as she had to clarify what we ordered after each sentence. When I started ordering my breakfast sandwich I asked for an egg white substitution on one of the choices which confounded her, causing her to almost give me the wrong thing. Then we hit her with a show stopper - a plain biscuit with just sausage on it. After reviewing the order on a screen which did not even display the whole order, we drove up to the window. Upon completion of the payment the attendant at the register window dropped my credit card under my car, which isn't necessarily a big deal, but when compounded with everything else, just made things worse. After retrieving the card and driving up to the second window we were confronted by a different employee who seemed to still be waking up as she asked, "what did you order?" Usually they have your order ready or kindly ask to see your receipt, but since she was still shaking off the sleep she probably wasn't on her game. I handed her the receipt whereupon she went into the back area. As the glass was sliding shut behind her I saw a gaggle of employees goofing around though there was clearly work to catch up on. Only a couple of diligent individuals looked gamely employed. What could have been the manager came to hand me my food but as she was handing it to me she thought better of it and decided to check the order. She looked doubtful as she disappeared back into the back. When she returned she handed me the order and closed the window behind her. I waited patiently until she opened the window again to say, "drinks?" We received our drink and drove off as fast as the speed limit would let us. The first thing we pulled out of the bag was a biscuit sans the sausage. The next thing that we saw was a singular napkin soaked in hashbrown grease. Forget about them asking if you want condiments or even putting any in for good measure. The food itself was what you would expect from a McDonald's. Who knows, maybe I was being pranked on some TV show...? read more

Really NO STARS. worst service ever. Waited. Gave order in drive thru of 10 of nugget meal, 6 pc nugget meal and 2 Oreo mcflurries. Finally get to pay, guy asks what's your order. We give it and says we didn't order. Seriously. Another person who had heard order over the system looked in system and couldn't find order. Another lady then tries to put the order in (hubby ready to pull away like the two other drive offs behind us). The lady is trying to tell us price and there is nothing comped. Absolutely the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Service is extremely slow and the workers are either brain dead or stoned. They are also very rude. We went thru the drive thru and after it took us 15 minutes to get up to the window they told us to pull our car over and wait. Since we were in a hurry I went in and asked them how much longer. They all totally ignored me. When I asked another worker she sneered at me and said "I have no idea" then walked away. The only worker willing to listen to me was this young kid but he didn't know what to do. Finally got our sandwiches but no fries. I didn't care just wanted to get out of there. Horrible!!! Waited 25 minutes for food. No straws, no ketchup in store, no carbonation in soft drinks, no unsweetened tea in dining area..floor was absolutely filthy behind counter. We have been here before and never like this. We WILL NOT return. All food was served in bags no trays. No ice in one of ice machines. NO ONE made any attempt to remedy any of these things. This restaurant was the most disgusting place I have ever been too. Urine on the floor of the bathroom, trash on the dining room floor, dried soda on the counters, no tea in the containers in dining room and much more. I asked the employees to wipe the counter and they rolled their eyes at me and turned their back, and this was the rude manager Megan. Then I told Megan the manger about the urine on the floor in the men's bathroom and she said she didn't have enough workers to clean, while 5 workers were standing there talking and 2 workers were sitting at a table in the dining room. Then when I said there was no tea in the dining room they turned their back. They didn't come out and fill it or offer to get me tea from behind the counter. The amount of crud and grease on the floor was beyond ridiculous! So as the time goes by, about 15 minutes of waiting for a filet of fish, a mcdouble, a chicken sandwich and a hash brown, I asked for my money back. Just as I finished my request the manager Magen said your food is coming. Then one of the employees that was sitting in the dining room came behind the counter and started laughing at me. I asked her what she was laughing at and she mumbled something. I said excuse me what did you say, she proceeded to mumble again. Then the manager Magen said do not yell at my employees. I said that she was laughing at me and she rolled her eyes, put my food on a tray and sat the tray on top of the dried soda on the counter. I sat with my family as they continued to stare and laugh. I went up to the counter, took pictures of the nastiness, and ask the girl that was laughing what her name was. The manager yelled at me and said I couldn't ask for her name. As this worker turned towards me, low and behold she had a name tag and it read Madison. I asked the manager for the franchise phone number and she said she could not give it to me as she yelled. I asked for the corporate number and she yelled, it's on the cup. This place is not only nasty and violating so many health codes, they have no manners or customer service. The franchise owner should have this store revoked. He/she doesn't know who or what is in that store. It's really sad. I've contacted corporate and the Hancock County Health Department. Something will be done even if the franchise owner doesn't do anything. The health department will not allow the filth and corporate will not allow the lack of customer service. I can't even believe how many poor reviews there are and the restaurant still looks this bad and the workers still work there. Pathetic! Wish I would have seen the Yelp reviews before I stepped foot in this nasty place. DO NOT go there and support this McDonalds! read more

The reviews from a few years ago are still correct. Stopped in off the highway for a couple of cheeseburgers and a coffee. The cheeseburgers and the coffee were cold even though the place wasn't busy at all and I was one of only a few customers. The buns on the burgers were stale and crunchy hard. Keep traveling east to the next exit there are a lot more and far better food choices. read more
