    Honey vanilla latte
    Wanga K.

Cute work spot but busy! I was able to snag a corner with an outlet. Once there I was locked in. I got the honey vanilla latte with oat milk which was tasty and the bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit and pepper jelly. So good.

I've been here once before but only picked up a coffee, but this time I came with some friends and really enjoyed the coffee house vibe. We sat in the fireplace lounge area on the comfy chairs and stayed for a couple of hours. I got the butterscotch hot coffee and it was really good ... I could really taste the butterscotch! Service was quick and didn't have to wait too long for my coffee, especially since it was a busy Saturday afternoon. I'd recommend this location.

I LOVE the neighborhood atmosphere! This was my first time being there and I was greeted by an amazing team. They were very helpful and suggested their popular biscuit sandwich made in house. I've had Tinker at the airport and at 16 Tech but I'd travel to this location for their delicious buttery biscuit sandwich! OMG!!! It was the perfect breakfast right before my meeting. The coffee was amazing and the sandwich was yummy. I didn't take pics of the outside but it's a little firehouse. It's busy filled with an eclectic group of people. People were sitting outside, having meetings, eating breakfast with their kids before school... it was definitely a community vibe. Service, food, coffee and atmosphere passed the vibe check. I will definitely be back!

Five Spice Latte & Blueberry Matcha Latte

I couldn't decide what to order here, so I went with their most popular latte, the Five Spice. The flavor notes - Thai chili, black peppercorn anise, clove, & cinnamon. Honestly reminded me of a chai latte with a hint of coffee! I liked it - at first I wasn't sure but the more I sipped, the more it grew on me. It is not a sweet drink, but I did enjoy it and would order again! Also tried the blueberry matcha. I don't like matcha, but I was very curious. I intend to order it iced and thought they all came that way, so my mistake was not saying iced and I got a hot latte. I still find matcha to be grassy tasting but this one would be something I would drink again. It's got a sweet, dessert feel and very smooth. Tinker is an Indy coffee favorite and with several locations around town, there should be one somewhere close to you. This location was super cute and also has a walk up window, so you can grab it to go while out and about in the neighborhood.

Such a cute coffee house ! Loved the vibe and the ease of getting my food . The coffee is smooth and doesn't have that bitter aftertaste . Service was really fast and on time (I had ordered ahead online and my order was ready and still got by the promised time ) I then ordered food while I was drinking my coffee and it was ready really fast

This is such a great space! Even on Sunday morning, there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is lots of parking nearby, including a small lot that belongs to the building. We didn't eat here this morning but both of our coffees were great! I got the blueberry matcha and it was probably one of the best ones I've had! Service was friendly and coffees came out quickly! We plan on coming back when we have a little more time to spend!

    Got a pretty, even in a to-go cup :)

This is my second visit to the Firehouse. There are a few parking spots in front, but street parking is pretty easy if that is full. Come in, enjoy the vibe, order your drink / food, sit back and enjoy. Then repeat on another day (or same day - no judging!) The coffee is fresh and so good. I could just stay here. The only food I've tried is the blueberry muffin. It is delicious. The staff is friendly and happy. It makes me feel like they enjoy their work and are happy I'm here. Come try it out!

Always a tinker coffee fan so I was excited to check out this location! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating ranging from regular tables to comfy couches. Barista recommend the 5 spice latte. Great flavor, similar to a chai, but not overwhelming. Person across from me got the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and it look INCREDIBLE. Will be trying next time.

Cute coffee shop thar serves alcohol as well as food. Nice wait staff willing to answer questions. My lavender mocha was delicious. I'll be back when I'm feeling adventurous to try the lemonade with expresso.

Tinker took over the previous Chalet location (previously the Illinois St Firehouse). You'd think it went from coffee space to coffee space, so not much of a change, but the space has a completely different feel from the previous coffee space. The space is bright and open, with deep green accents and plenty of plants. The staff is friendly, and the coffee bar is huge. The offer breakfast sammies till 12 and then a few sammies the rest of the evening. They also serve overnight oats and a variety of pastries. In the afternoon, the space has wine, beer, and low ABV cocktails (vermouth-based). The coffee shop has a walk-up window and plenty of outdoor seating for pup-friendly spaces. However, if you're looking to sit inside, I would recommend the fireplace room. The fireplace is purely decorative, but the room is cozy nonetheless. The Americano and biscuit egg and cheese breakfast sandwich were delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich was not too spicy, and the iced tea is a perfect afternoon refresher. They also have Rice crispy treats made with Hotel Tango Smashmellow. This is the perfect setup for the neighborhood.

Cute and cozy spot! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, though the coffee was a little too bitter for my taste.

Their menu includes pastries, coffee, lattes, matcha drinks, and their cute Matcha Fruities, which come in four different fruit flavors. I tried the ube flavor, and the packaging was so cute. While the drink looked great, the flavor itself was a bit lacking. It could have used a stronger ube taste. I would stop by again to try another flavor if I'm in the area.

I also ordered a lemon mint refresher, but they were out of mint so it would just be a lemonade. That was fine and I appreciated how she handled the situation and that she knew what Prufrock did and did not have in stock! She was great at communicating when I walked in that she needed a few minutes and then would be able to help me too. Another time I went with my parents on a late morning Saturday. My mom and I both loved our drinks, but we knew what to order. There were multiple people working behind the counter, but the barista taking orders was not friendly or very helpful on this particular day. My dad did not know what to order and asked what tea is refreshing and is one that the barista would recommend. The barista said that the green tea is really popular, but did not ask whether he wanted it hot or iced or give a recommendation for that. The tea came out hot on a hot day where we planning to walk the Monon and check out other local businesses. To be fair, I did ask him if he wanted me to ask for the drink to be remade or to get him a new one as I had overheard his order and also assumed it would be coming out iced. He said it was fine (but then complained on our walk). This was a bit disappointing. There have been times I have walked out after a few minutes of no acknowledgement from baristas here. It is not a cafe that I would want to sit in and work in as a lot of the space does not look workable. The last time I did come in with papers I planned to read in between appointments, I did not want to put my bag on the floor or my papers on a table because both were dirty. The book page wall has seen better days and would benefit from a revamp. I love the outdoor area though and the can tops are really cool. There is a lot of potential here, but when staff appears like they do not want to be there it makes customers not want to be there either. I would also urge the owners to be more receptive to criticism. The TikTok videos about Prufrock did not influence my review, but it did encourage me to leave my own review based on my own experiences.

It's bright, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed without trying too hard. The colorful mural alone is worth taking a minute to admire. The baristas were incredibly kind and never made me feel rushed while I debated what to order (a dangerous amount of responsibility before caffeine ). They happily walked me through the menu, and I ended up with the Zebra iced latte--which was smooth, perfectly balanced, and one of those drinks where you're disappointed when you reach the bottom of the cup. I skipped the pastries this visit, but after seeing the display case, I've already given myself an excuse to come back.
