I have only ever used the drive through twice but each time there was a problem with my order. The first time the orange juice was watered down so much I had to throw it out after one but we were driving to Florida that morning so no chance to turn around. The next time, again getting on the road to Atlanta, the egg in my elnglish muffin sandwich was so rubbery and the muffin itself was so hard that it was inedible except for the middle. The staff has always been polite so it's strictly the quality of the product at this point that makes it difficult to go back. read more

Where's the beef? I used to think that, out of the two McDonald's in the immediate Grovetown area, this was the better of the two. It isn't, anymore. From orders that continue to be incorrect, causing unnecessary time to park, going back in to the restaurant and then waiting additional time for the order to be made correctly only to discover that the meat isn't freshly cooked anymore, to having an order with only half patties - burnt patties, at that - in a McDouble (see image); this restaurant continues to bury itself deeper and deeper into the depths of restaurant hell. I'm not certain which end of the job pool they're getting their employees from, but I believe it would be in their best interest to take some lessons from the Chik-fil-A up the street when it comes to hiring and training. Not certain if the employees at this location are hard of hearing, extremely distracted by cell phones or conversations about what they're planning on doing after work, or what the deal is; but management needs to get involved and get their employees right with their deity of choice. Service is poor, napkins, utensils, and condiments that are supposed to come with certain menu items are rarely included, and the order is wrong at least half the time - this is the honest truth, no exaggeration needed here. I know I can't possibly be the only one experiencing this level of incompetence. C'mon McDonald's. Straighten this out. read more

This is the worst McDonald I've ever experienced. We ordered twice here and all not satisfied. I wish i can give 0 star for this place. I usually order NO salt fries. If you ask them, they are supposed to fry fresh. But this one is very soggy and they used very old oil so you can see black crumbs all over the fries. I just opened the box for burger and it seems someone bit my burger bun!!! Very disgusting!! And you guys didn't put ketchup and nuggets sauce with package. All two times!! Customer service is Subpar. Their ice cream machine is always down!!! Came in tonight at 8pm and asked for a sundae and they responded with, "We can't do that right now." Which is an odd response. We then asked why? Is ice cream machine down again. And they said yes. I have come Here multiple times to order for my daughters and I can't recall the last time they actually had a functioning ice cream machine. You would think they could afford to fix it by now. I don't come here often enough to care but this is ridiculous. Take all ice cream and shakes of your menu. Won't be returning unless my daughter is desperate for McDonald's. There is food and trash everywhere spilled drink on the floor trash overflowing every can. The back is so nasty and so much grease on the floor they are sliding everywhere. Restaurant was not clean and my son and I had to sit at a dirty table. There are not many seats in this restaurant to sit at so it looks like at 11am on a Saturday they would keep it cleaner for the lunch crowd. The guy behind the counter just stood there with no customers in line for several minutes while the tables are dirty. The fry station being stacked up with French fries might make the service faster for drive thru customers, but when it's done during slower times the fries sit there getting cold because not enough people order them. I decided to take a different way to work this morning as I knew there was a McDonald's on my route. Drove into the drive thru, which was mysteriously empty, and noticed a sign on the drive thru that stated they now open at 7 a.m., which is odd, but I was there at 6:59 a.m., and so I waited. At 7:02, I said "hello", thinking there would be someone to take my order, and there was silence. At 7:06, I did the same thing, and received silence. By this time, there were a couple more cars behind me, so I decided to pull up to the window. When I got there, nobody was there. By this time it was near 7:10 a.m. I drove down to window #2, and still, nobody was there. The restaurant looked vacant. I know it wasn't as there was a delivery truck occupying the 1st lane of the drive thru, and a couple of workers were outside talking with the truck driver, and having a very pleasant conversation, as there was plenty of laughter. Needless to say, I will not break my morning routine again, nor will I offer any of my future business to this location. Poor customer service!! read more

Way too slow. Ordered a drink and a pie at drive thru tonite with only one person ahead of me and no one behind the entire time. After waiting 12+ minutes for food I pulled out of line and went inside for refund which took another 5 minutes or so even tho i was only person in line at counter. Worst McDonald's. My family and I have been eating "clean" for several months now. I haven't been to a McDonald's in over a year. I stayed home with the kids today and was craving breakfast. Went to this Lewiston road McDonald's which is practically brand new and the closest to my house. Ordered 3 hotcakes and sausage and 2 egg mcmuffins. Also a large vanilla iced coffee and large mocha iced coffee. Summary: had me pull forward and waited almost 10 minutes. I ASSUMED the small bag handed to me had the sandwiches.....it didn't, it had the syrups....no butter. My vanilla iced coffee was a large coffee, in a Styrofoam iced tea cup, with a little cream and a few ice cubes. This one visit reminded me why I don't like going to McDonald's. Good luck. I recommend you go somewhere else. If you absolutely want McDonald's, don't go here or the one on Bell Air road nor the one down the street at Horizon Parkway. Basically, leave Augusta. read more
