Came here for Lunch on a Tuesday with some friends. Overall good food. The menu is fairly cheap, especially the lunch specials. I ordered the fajita lunch special, and while I enjoyed the steak and veggies portion of the fajita, the rice was a bit dry and a little bland. My friends got the burritos and a tortilla soup and they enjoyed their meals. I enjoyed the interior, definitely felt like a classic Mexican restaraunt. The restraunt is clean. All of the servers were very helpful. They came by several times to make sure I was happy with my food and service. The food came out after a short wait. It was so hot, I had to let it sit to cool off. This is one place you can go to for lunch and be out of there in a half hour. You get a 3.99% discount if you pay by cash. Great flavor, good price, and plenty of food Try them out and give your opinion. This used to be a hamburger shop with average food. The restraunt has only been open a couple of months and has good food and service. read more

Hidden gem in Grovetown! Service is friendly and fast. Chips and salsa come as part of the service. The food never disappoints. I recommend getting one of their skillets. Large portions, good amount of meat, and most importantly tastes great. There is also bar seating for those interested in drinking. read more

Staff were super attentive. Please note that all prices on the menu are the cash processed 3.99% to all prices for card. Also if you are taking out add 99¢ + tax for the takeout fee. Portions are large, my wife got the beef fajitas and it is probably 4+ servings. I got the Birria tacos were okay but my wife said it was great. read more

Horrible customer service. We're always missing a couple food items, and they continue to make excuses, no apologies, no refunds, very rude, talking over us, and keep going in circles. Never again We have kids we have to feed and they've been missing food items. The customer service isn't there and you're paying for food you don't get. read more

We've been here a few times, and everything is good! Very good food, good service and looks nice inside the restaurant. We loved the soft drink Jamaica which was served in chilled large glass mug. The best Mexican restaurant around here. Went back again. Great food as always! read more

Went for dinner while visiting family in Georgia. Yum! There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the CSRA, but El Gringo is something above! We had a large party and everything came out right, all servers were helping each other and even paying the separate bills was no issue. I wish I took a picture of my meal. Birria Tacos. 4 came in the order with a side of consume for dipping. Full of flavor ! I was full after 2 tacos. If you are in the area, this is a must try! Salsa is great too! read more

I was very excited for El Gringo to open because ut's maybe 6 mins away from my home. The place is very casual and clean. Attentive Servers. Wide variety of food items on the menu. Alcohol was not being served yet, but it's coming and there is a bar area. The food, honestly could have been a tad bit better and with more flavor. They are still hiring so I will definitely revisit to give them another chance. read more

Serviceable, but cookie cutter type Meximerican type food mostly. The names may change, but most Mexican restaurants in the area have food so similar in taste that they seem to be one big chain. That being said, although I prefer more authentic, there is a certain comfort in knowing that no matter which Mexican eatery I go to ( There are a few local exceptions) the food is going to be for the most part the same. read more

Great Sunday lunch option. The chips are light. The salsa is fresh and chilled. The portions are generous. As the name suggests, the food leans towards Tex-Mex. I thoroughly enjoyed my taco salad. It's a crunchy bowl you can eat. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The background music is low key and my wife and I could enjoy our conversation. read more
