I've have been going to this McDonald's for years and only had a few minor order mistakes. Nothing like this incident that happened today. The people working the drive through were extremely off towards me. I am a 16 year old white kid. I pulled up to the 2nd window and there was a black woman in her early 20's. She opened the window and leaned over to stare at me. It was very awkward so I asked how her day was going, and I got no reply. She just kept staring while her co worker was laughing. I didn't perceive this as playful or fun. She was slowly handing me my food for my family one after another. Not a word. I don't know if I would call this racist but she was definitely not being mutually respectful. I will never buy anything from that McDonald's ever again. Oh and they messed up my order and put ketchup all over the top of the fries, and burger. This is not what I expected from these people. Usually the universe kicks me while down. if something is 50/50 I'm always 100 percent wrong. however, on Monday i will be investing in myself and changing eating habits. My daughter (12) and her friend rode their bikes to this McDonald's today. She received her order, however her friends order was forgotten, the cashier was very nice and got her the order. My daughter decided she was still hungry and wanted a happy meal also, so went and orders one. She received it, but there was a missing item. She went and told the counter and was given it. After she sat down a manager approached them and said that they had to leave or they were calling the police on them. They were terrified and had to leave their food behind. I went through the drive threw ordering a double cheeseburger and a small fry. When arriving to the window I was asked to pull to the side after waiting a while. When waiting longer they came out to ask if I ordered a certain thing then proceeded to go over my order. They said they didn't know why I was waiting. I looked in the bag and there was no fry went back in to get the fry but it wasn't until I got home when I noticed I was only given a regular sandwich. Gulf Breeze McDonald's is pretty good but was a bit undermanned today but orders were still timely. Kudos on the manager and the new employee on the register. Nice maritime decoration in neutral tones to make it fit the local. Clean and friendly. Major reason for the review is the sad comparison between the new Bacon BBQ Burger that was advertised and the what was received. The burger had extra crunchy onion strings in a far smaller and less appetizing portion, half a strip of bacon but at least full slices of cheese. I know it's an advert but it should be somewhat similar. Taste was good but does not really compete with their quart pounder or Big Mac. But if you like BBQ sauce and fried onions, it may be a pleasant change to their normal menu items. read more

I went this morning for breakfast and got my normal Egg McMuffin sub for regular bacon. My bacon was raw and they gave me folded egg even though the standard is round. I do not enjoy the folded egg hence me getting a sandwich with round egg. I am highly disappointed with this experience. read more

We ordered 2 very simple menu items. They messed it up. 2 burgers, a quarter pounder and a double pounder, one was plain and dry, the other all the way.when we came around to get the food remade, they insisted on taking all of our food back in, telling us that it was policy to make sure the food gets thrown away. Stopped one morning to go through drive thru. What we consider small order and pretty easy order-THEY made into a fiasco. Ordered two chicken biscuits a frappe and a smoothie(which by the way they told us for 3 months prior they were no longer carrying). Paid got drinks and then got asked to pull up to wait on biscuits mind you we had already been in line 10 minutes. Pulled up and after waiting an additional 10 MINUTES I went in demanding manager. Worlds worst service I have ever gotten from a fast food. I don't expect much from them but no one being at the counter to take my order is unacceptable. The manager told us if we wanted immediate service we could order from the kiosk, but one of my friends happened to only have cash on her so we waited and got told to order from the kiosk again. We eventually just ordered from the kiosk and waited. We ordered to go food and got given are food not to go. It took 20 minutes to get our food even though there only being us there. Wow!!! No customer service. It is pouring down rain went through drive thru, one other person in line at 9:30 on a Wednesday morning to pick up a delivery. They refused to hand it through the drive up window. No one behind me in the drive thru. As a driver who has a bad leg and moves slow ( which I told them ) I can't believe this is how they treat there customers. With business being down I would think you would treat your customers better. That manager needs some customers relations training. This has to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to! Today I went through the drive thru and I ordered a happy meal. The girl asked me if I wanted apples or Gogurt. I said Gogurt but I then asked "that comes with fries, right? And she said yes. It's been a long time since I ordered a Happy Meal, so the apples and Gogurt thing threw me off. I wanted to make sure it did in fact come with fries, so once I got to the window, I again asked specifically if the Happy Meal comes with fries. The girl again said "yes, it comes with fries' I get my order and drive home. Guess what doesn't have fries..... The Happy Meal! Not only are there no fries but the hamburger is dried out and the Gogurt is warm. I tried calling them several times (just to ask if a Happy Meal comes with fries) and each time, someone picks up the phone and then hangs up! This McDonald's was updated probably three years ago and its holding up well with a few signs a wear. The employees are professional though interactions with them were limited in scope. Food was standard McDonald's fare, hot and filling. So why the two stars? Well, we came here because its fast food and we are between games with time enough to get a bite away from the ball fields...or so we thought. This McDonald's misses a primary characteristic of fast food...it was not very fast. From ordering to serving was 19 minutes. Then had to ask for the drink cups adding a few more seconds and the kids were relagated to wolfing down their food. 20 minutes to first service is expected at a decent sit down service restaurant, not at a fast food counter service establishment. This deficiency to their prime service niche is glaring enough to warrant the low marks in itself, but serving premium coffee drinks brewed with out of date beans (use through 4:49 a.m. September 2, 2016, over 4 days old) is another blemish in this otherwise outwardly well kept establishment. Makes you wonder whats hodden beneath this well kept facade. read more

Single employee is ruining the business. An angry, short older gentleman who was working the morning shift and has no clue what he is doing. He blamed me for giving me the wrong food! Friends have agreed he is a horrible employee and has said some very unprofessional things to some younger woman. I pray this business recognize this employees bad behavior and reprimand accordingly. This use to be my favorite place to eat breakfast! However the last few times I have visited have been questionable. I was screamed at by the order guy when he forgot to turn the speaker off when placing my order. My food was given to the car in front of me and when they asked me to pull up to wait for my food they gave away they forgot to make it! Its been overrun by teenage workers who haven't perfected their fast food skills. I guess you get what you pay for. As for me I'll stick with Wendy's or take the time to go to waffle house. This McDonalds has been renovated recently and looks very nice inside and out. It is also right on Hwy 98. That's all I have good to say. In all my life I have never been to a McDonalds that has given me my order wrong so many times. Sometimes I'll catch it while still at the drive-thru window (i.e. wrong size drink). Unfortunately, more often than not, I will find out 4 or 5 miles down the road and have no time to go back. If it is not too inconvenient keep heading west and hit the McDonalds in Gulf Breeze. read more
