I guess we have been lucky with this location. We do mobile ordering and they bring it out to us. The last several times the fries have been hot and fresh and the burgers were cooked perfectly. Staff is hit or miss, sometimes they are friendly sometimes they hand you the bag and just walk away without a word. This place is so hit or miss. The food is nice and fresh during the day somewhat consistently but wow when the sun goes down there's a 70/30 chance you're going to get old overcooked food with some parts of your order missing as well. I wish there was a way to have a live cam feed of what the drive through line looks like because every other night will have 15 cars at once with what I assume is a 2-man team tackling it. I got a medium fry which was over salted i work at a McDonalds myself and i know they should not be making my mouth shrivel up with how salty they are, whoever works night shifts needs to fix how much they salt fries. Simply put - pull out your Google maps and find another McDonald's (there is one about 10 minutes south next to Clackamas Town Center) or dining establishment. My wife and I were starving and wanted to get something to hold us over while we made dinner at home. We remembered since the pandemic started in 2020, this location hasn't opened the dine in option and with the drive thru line consistently long, we opted for our usual - Mobile crib side delivery. About 15 minutes after ordering on our phone, we started to notice a concerning trend - not life threatening. The other two curb side customers were getting out of their car trying to get the attention of the staff inside the building. Drive thru customers were screaming - some were even dangerously trying to leave by backing up in a parking lot full of cars. At this point, my wife and I decided to see what was going on because just like the other patrons, we were hungry and wanted the food we had ordered - just a simple request from a fast food establishment. We even overheard one of the other curb side customers that he had waited over 20 minutes for them to remake his single McChicken, nothing else, just one item, that the staff made incorrectly! It was until 30 minutes after we ordered, a rude staff member came out with the orders and handed us our meals without apologizing for the delay or anything at all! Sadly, this isn't the first time this is happened but it has never been this bad. As someone that previously worked in the restaurant and retail industry, I understand how difficult it can be when you're understaffed but that can no longer be an excuse when you're constantly missing the mark on what corporate has set forth - 5 minute curb side delivery. She kept getting louder and louder but genuinely my bag was small and I did not want to dig in it but the Mcflury is tall and plus shoving ice cream into a bag with my fries and meal seems dumb. But she was getting angry and barking that it was in the bag but was pointing to the pick up orders. I said it should not be because it was a separate order. Skip to me driving bac through the horrific frigging line because it was not in there and she argued again practically screaming that it was with my mcnuggets. I genuinely ha to grab the freaking, now empty bag saying THIS IS THE BAG - which had THIS, holding my McNuggets AND THIS, holding the fries and she kept yelling YES back - I was yelling DO YOU SEE THE GRANDMA MCFLURY.. she FINALLY made it - threw it together. When I went through the line the second time the gal taking orders was like oh so sorry, let us make that for you like no sweat yet the crazy woman handling the orders seemed genuinely confused. Just arrived in Portland, got our luggage, got our rental car, and it was already late close to 10 pm, besides it was raining. I don't know what business is open around this time on a Sunday except for McDonald's. We were staying at the nearby Courtyard in Clakamas so this McDonald's location was the most convenient. I know, who eats at McDonald's, on their first day in Portland?! I guess when you are hungry after a 5 hour flight, it doesn't matter, anything helps. This Mcdonald's is nice and clean, looks like they renovated with cool seats, Kiosk. What caught my eyes at this Mcdonald's was the bundle and the pumpkin pie. We ordered and feasted on the 10.00 bundle, along with a large fries and I also did the online survey printed on the receipt on my phone to take advantage of the buy any sandwich get one free, which I used it for the filet of fish and breakfast sandwich. After eating the bundle, we ended up having 2 sandwiches left which I think my son and the other half tried to finish it but couldn't. The 10.00 bundle came with 2 10 piece Chicken Mcnuggets, 3 cheeseburger and 3 McChicken, this is such a deal. We don't have this bundle in Hawaii. I really like that signature sauce, I wonder if they have that sauce here. After the meal, I had to get those pumpkin pies, since we don't have pumpkin pie in Hawaii too. That pumpkin was not too sweet and just right at only 99 cents!! The service wasn't the greatest but as long as we got our orders right, We are happy! All in all quick visit at this Mcdonald's filled us up and we are ready to check in to our hotel which was only 5 mins away. We are Happy in Happy Valley!! read more

I'm writing this because I live down the street, so I've been to this location many and I can say without exaggeration, I have never had a good experience. The final straw was when I swung in there at around 7:00pm to get my kids a couple of McFlurry's and guess what? They were out of ice cream!
