Not often I get to say I had a good time at the drive through at a McDonalds, but this time I did. I got a rather gruff intro when using the drive through ordering, but when I got up there it was someone in character as the Grinch. As that is the current theme there,, this was excellent ownership by the team member to be on brand. I got a good laugh and one of the best drive through experiences I have had. read more

Just had McDonald's ordre delivered to me and no straw, I asked for light ice and got no ice and ordered a sweet tea but it wasn't sweet. Usually they get my order right but this time I'm bummed. The problem here isn't the burgers. It's the fries. They should be saved hot. They're usually either cold or they have been cooked in old grease. The people that work here are mostly nice. There are a couple who don't care but most of my experiences with them have been good. Serve hot fries and fill the container properly. Also, don't dump them on their sides or overfill bags. If you can't roll the bag down a bit it's to full and food is very cold by the time you get home. read more

OK--I am a regular customer at the McDonald's in Hillsborough. Generally, I order a McChicken with the roll not toasted (actually grilled!). However, I also like the Filet-o-Fish sandwich. It has been well over a month since the steamer for the buns for this sandwich has been working. I HATE a bun that is flattened like a pancake and grilled...no thank you. What I want to know is exactly WHEN are you going to fix the steamer and sell the sandwiches matching their advertisement on the radio done by Brian Cox????? The twelfth of never? The fries are often cold and soggy and totally over-salted! That is why I always order them unsalted--because, they come out hot and not salty. However, the oil is very often stale and leaves them limp instead of crisp--also not a good experience. The sausage biscuits are great--unless the buns are hard as a hockey puck from sitting around too long or over to much heat. I'm not sure how one ends up with a hard biscuit, to be honest. Also--not a good experience. The people here are nice--they often get things wrong, but they are good natured about fixing their mistakes. (I special order just about everything). They are always cheerful and polite. It is my opinion that they do not get enough support from their management team--who, I think should be the ones to fix these issues? Last, but not least, I was going to send this to management through the McDonald's site, but their feedback is down and their so sorry for the inconvenience--so, instead, you have the public poor review. The food is ok. However, the service sucks! The people who work there suck! They are understaffed, undermotivated and the service is very slow. When some individual, who looks homeless, tells you to use the food service kiosk, and you tell them no, they get pissed off. The more we use automation, they their will be less jobs for useless humans like those that work there at Hillsboro, McDonalds. This location should be avoided at all costs. There is no adult supervision at this store and it is extremely poorly run. There is a McDonalds in Warner, NH, just off Route 89 and the service, there is excellent! read more

Best McDonalds that we have had in years! Everything was cooked for us and piping hot. well constructed burgers and not sliding and smushed like we are used to. The service at the drive thru was lovely and they brought our order to the car with extra condiments and so many smiles. read more

Since McDonald's as been in the news lately, for all the wrong reasons, I can't help smile when I hear about them finally getting their comeuppance. Yes I'm still bitter how they were quick to dismiss me from my role as maintenance at the Hillsborough Restaurant in Sheffield, just for trying to do the best job I could, but it seems that if you try to address any issues on their Workplace Media Platform, they don't like that it causes such an embarrassment to the Restaurant and are quick to close ranks on you, and dismiss you, just to shut you up. You can't have CEO Alistair Macrow say that McDonald's encourages staff to speak up about any work related issues, then have his Manager's manufacture a way to shut you up by dismissing you, and pretend he knows nothing about this. It's sad to see how much that restaurant as gone down hill since I was dismissed, but not surprised, especially that they're advertising the maintenance role again, as once people learn how bad and toxic the Hillsborough Restaurant in Sheffield is, nobody wants to stay for long, I was only there as long as I was, because of the work ethic I have. But I would warn anyone considering applying to work at that restaurant, look elsewhere. If you value your health and wellbeing, give this Restaurant a wide berth. I took so much pride in my Restaurant, and went so often above and beyond for them,, which I did receive quite a lot of accolades for, but the first time I tried to show where the managers were failing with so many breaches to health, saftey,and hygene, to avoid any repercussions to themselves, I'm shown the door, and barred form ever stepping foot anywhere near the Hillsborough Restaurant in Sheffield. They are consistently short of food or supplies. They take one order at a time, making the next customer wait until the previous customer receives their order before taking the next order. The food is just thrown together and not assembled as it should be. If there was any competition within 15 miles, this business would be no more. If I want a McD meal, I'll drive to Manchester or Keene to avoid this establishment. read more

Gee, it seems like the McDonald's stores are getting better. This place is amazing! I just ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee, then spent 2 hrs working here on the internet. Lots of customers, but no TV noise or loud music. All I heard was happy voices from the staff and other customers. Adults (yes, I am one of those...) kept arriving and unexpected and happily meeting up with friends and acquaintances. Clean and modern. Nice view out the windows as I work. What more could you want? If i could give this dysfunctional, disorientated, disorganized, slothfully location zero stars i would. Some how EVERY time i come here there is some sort of drama with order, just ordering or my meal. Probably the last three or four times i have been here i haven't bothered waiting and i have left. The last time i was here the right drive thru lane wasn't getting orders in but the left one was and car after car after car on the left went through but no orders were being taking from the right line, of course i was in the right line. The time before that i could communicate with the 'box' in the right lane but sat there for 15 minutes to be told just a minute 5 times. It was something out of impractical Jokers. Since the remodel the food is worse than ever. We only use the drive-thru so don't know about the inside. A friend says since the remodel "it has lost all its charm" Charm??? HAHAHA!! Recent visit at lunchtime on a Saturday the burgers and fries were cold and clearly sitting around waiting for customers. Unacceptable! It said online they were open until 11 & they closed at 10:20 p.m. to clean... do you not have enough people to do that while make food for people? It's what it is. An easy pitstop to stop the hunger before the lobsta. The curvaceous New Hampsha roads are always fun to drive, and getting here was no exception. The sun was blinding. The trainee and staff were all white people and the coffee came pre-sweetened! Not good. But the place was fairly hopping for a Friday in August in New Hampshire. read more

Standard McD food. Nothing to special. There is no child play area. Can't complain about much. Area was clean, as was the bathroom.

Dirty place that lacks adequate seating for more than 2 or 3 people per table. My family stopped by for a late lunch on the road around 2 in the afternoon on a weekday. The woman behind the counter who took our order was very friendly and engaging...a real asset to the place. Our food was as expected, but the place was dirty and lacked the amount of seating one would expect. Almost all tables only seat 2 or 3 people, and we had 4 in our group. The only one of the few tables that would seat 4 had clearly not been cleaned and was covered in ketchup and debris from the last users. Looking around, a lot of the eating surfaces had clearly not been cleaned recently. So we sat at two smaller tables near each other that seemed clean-ish, crammed in next to an employee on break at the next tiny table right next to us. There was no where else to sit, even though the place wasn't busy. There are weird super-high tables with super high chairs on poles that only seat 3, or two-seater tables, and not much else. The floor was filthy, and while I know it's winter, it looked as if it has not been cleaned at all that day. The bathroom was kind of gross and smelled like it never got a thorough cleaning, only the fastest wipe down to make it 'look' clean. I couldn't wait to get out of there! We ate there 3 or 4 years ago and remember it to be fine, but our last visit was a big enough disappointment that next time, we'll wait to eat elsewhere instead of eating at a dirty place with inadequate seating. That McD's needs an overhaul and someone needs to teach the employees how to actually clean the place. read more

They messed up my order with nothing on a cheeseburger and they got it wrong 3 times in a row. is it that hard to do that. Do not go here they are not nice and the place is small and very dirty. I don't always eat McDonald's, but if I want some I go else where. The place is usually dirty, and I question the hygiene of a couple of their employees. I've also had my food entered incorrectly at drive thru. Some of the younger staff are more efficient than the older staff. read more
