Pit stop and coffee. This McDonald's has a Playplace. Regulars were enjoying breakfast. The dining room is colorful and tidy. I don't drink much coffee, but when I do, I like McDonald's coffee. The coffee is not bitter and it's hot. The server was friendly and coffee came out quickly. Restrooms ok. The water was not hot. Only one soap dispenser and one dryer were working. I ordered through the drive thru on 7/16/26 between 7:15 and 7:30 "pm". My order was completely wrong. I ordered a cheeseburger, 20 nuggets, barbecue sauce, and a small coke. We stopped here because we had a food emergency for a family. I think I had the worst burgers of my entire life. Both bacon cheeseburgers had a small half inch piece of bacon on it. That's it! The picture she was big chunks of bacon hanging out of the size. Well, those are all lies. Displeased with the burgers, I decided to get a Mc chicken sandwich. Hands down the BEST McDonald's in Huber Heights. Since that isn't saying much, I would go so far to say this is the best old school (pre-2000's) Fast Food location in all of Huber Heights. They ACTUALLY have employees during their shift, they are fast, well stocked, get the orders right and have nice (nay, pleasant) employees. My hats off to them. McDonald's is trying to emulate the chic fil a classics. They are certainly not copying the classic customer service or desire for satisfaction. The visit reeked of apathy. The location has a difficult drive through. The location on a court can mean several lights may pass before getting back to the main road. The lack of care was seen in poor packing, no napkins, and a general "get your food and get out" attitude from the staff. The two chicken sandwich options were poorly crafted. The premade spicy chicken sauce and the buns were the best part. The lettuce on the deluxe classic version was wilted. The tomatoes were an odd shade of orange and peeled off before eating. The coke and fries were classic McDonald's, so at least it has that going for it. read more

Terrible service inside and at drive- thru. Managers do not care to ensure the dining area is clean nor to ensure everyone greets customers when approaching the counter. Floors and tables are filthy. Workers are rude especially when shift is over. A worker decided to say, hey let me get x, as a customer was already at the counter placing an order!! Very very rude to try to talk over a customer. Because his shift was ending, I presume he felt privileged. Sad. Most workers just stare at you when you are next in line instead of giving a smile and asking "how may I help you?". People do not have pride to work here. Often high schoolers are hanging out in the dining area using foul and obscene language, being very disruptive and have no regard for others nearby. I'm a delivery driver and I've been frequenting this McDonald's for about 15 years. The place is absolutely gone downhill. I waited 11 minutes for a steak egg and cheese muffin. This is a very, very busy McDonald's. Where it's located they've always been super busy even when I first started coming here in 2008. The managers both in their 40s overweight and African-American didn't seem to know what's going on, nor did they care they just kind of bumblebee around while the lobby had about 10 people in the drive-through had so many cars wrapped around the building. Now that's pretty normal for this store in the morning, what's not normal is a totally incompetent management. I might come back but probably not,there's plenty of other McDonald's Along the freeway. And it's not about the busyness, McDonald's get very very busy in the morning but they usually can handle it, this staff could not. They simply were in over their heads. Friday night, 7:30 pm. Walked in. Birthday party going in a corner. Play area very nice, filled with happy kids and parents eating. No line. Ordered our food. 2 happy meals, a burger, pineapple shake, and a fish sandwich meal. Some other people came in the door. Other registers opened up immediately. The problem wasn't that there were tons of customers & no registers; the problem is that no one could get food & no one was able to get out the door after paying. The lobby quickly became completely filled with people because everyone was waiting in line, ordering, paying or waiting for food. Sent our kids to play area (we're in hurry to get back on highway). Waited 10 minutes. I apologized to husband "sorry I had to go and order a fish sandwich." Him: "this is McDonalds - you should order what you want & it should be fast." No burger, no fish sandwich. We ask for refund. They get our burger and fish immediately. Forgot the fries. We ask an employee outside (on break) (line is CRAZY at this point - drive thru is bad too) "can u just get us our fries?" ... "no, sir, I am on break." he laughed. We got in our car, disgusted, and put it in our rear view mirror as fast as possible. Realized down the road they didn't get us our pineapple shake either. They were also out of chocolate milk. My fish sandwich tasted awful. My husband's burger had no ketchup or any sauce on it. Equally awful. We tend to be ok with typical McDonalds food -- this was far below par. They screwed up my order and i had to oull forward and wait. Also the carmel macchiato was cold and not mixed. The top sip tasted like black coffee and the final 1/3 cup was all syrup. If they refuse to stir the coffee, they should at least give the patron a stir stick. Gross. read more

What struck me about this place is that on the day I went, it was a case study in the laziness and stupidity of society. The drive through line was wrapped around the building and out to the street. But no one inside. I parked right by the door, walked a few feet in, and was eating my food long before the last car got their order. People are so incredibly lazy that they'll sit and wait several times longer just to avoid getting off their asses to get the food that will pad their asses to be cushier to sit on. If you end up at this place for some reason, LEAVE before you get stuck. The bathroom is a complete mess. The cashier was fast but I ordered 15 minutes ago and still have people in front of me who haven't gotten their order. The employees are absolutely clueless! The manager is no where to be seen. The manager needs to be fired. The GM needs to be fired. These employees have no training or they completely have no recollection of their training. I'm still waiting on my drink. Worst mcdonalds I've ever been to. I go thru on my way to work every morning to get a coffee...thats it. One large coffee with 6 creams and 6 sugars. Apparently this is so complicated that I have to sit at the window for at least 3 minutes while employees are standing around or occasionally looking at me like what business do I have taking up space in their drive thru...ok. I'll let that slide. But against my better judgement, I will occasionally go thru after work for a snack, hoping maybe the service will be better. HA! The girl at the service window literally opened it, said nothing as she handed me my drinks(no straws), some of my food then told me to pull up and wait. I said thank you at least twice. No response. Told her to have a good day. Nothing. And this isn't the first time I've experienced this here. Management needs to train their employees on proper customer service or let them go. Just because they hate their job doesn't mean they can make everyone else's day miserable, least of all the ones making sure they have a job. This was gross and dirty. When traveling I have come to count on McDonalds to have good coffee and clean restrooms. Not here and not today! All of the floors were dirty with obviously discarded soda straw wrappers and the restroom too. Unswept and no toilet paper in the stalls. Sink area had water everywhere and puddles on the floor. This is a more or less typical McDonalds. Facilities. It's usually kept pretty clean (including the bathrooms). Staff. McDonald's has a (well-deserved) reputation for employing workers that are, shall we say, less than professional in the attitude they project to the public. These are no more surly than those in the average McDonalds, but there have been a few occasions where even I was somewhat shocked by just how poorly employees behaved. In one instance a drive-through employee in the midst of an animated conversation with a fellow worker calmly and without comment or apology dumped my change onto the pavement rather than in my hand. In another (on a weekend morning) customers inside the restaurant were informed by an employee that due to a worker shortage, the staff would be taking orders but couldn't guarantee that the customers would receive them. (What!?) Food. Meh. It's typical fast food fare. The food is usually at least warm, if not exactly hot. My one complaint specific to this location is order accuracy. Over a two- or three-month period, I've had no fewer than four orders in which one or more items were missing. Could just be bad luck on my part or perhaps it's indicative of poor training. read more
