Honestly, I have never rated a fast food restaurant 5 stars before, but this place deserves it. Whenever I go & order here, they always get my order right. They have not once forgotten a single item I've paid for :) the fries are ALWAYS fresh, the staff is consistent with their job & they always greet me when I walk through the door. The setting of this place is just great, the kids have somewhere to play, while everyone else gets to enjoy their meal. McDonald's you did not dissapoint. I reccomend this 5 stars! read more

Terrible Customer Service at this location I took my son to the McDonald's today for a simple Happy Meal. We specifically ordered to eat inside at a table. After waiting, they left the bag sitting at the pickup area and never brought it to our table -- even though it was a dine-in order with a young child. My son had to get up and bring his own cold Happy Meal back to the table. The fries and nuggets were already cold and soggy by the time he could eat. I asked to speak to the manager. The woman who came over was no help at all. She acted like just another employee, gave a bunch of excuses, and offered zero solutions or apology. I even asked for her name so I could include it, but she wouldn't give it to me. This location has seriously gone downhill. Terrible Experience I had another terrible experience at McDonald's. This is not the first time they have gotten my order wrong. I ordered a McGriddle with bacon substituted, but what I received was basically two buns with a burned piece of bacon. Completely unacceptable. I tried calling the restaurant to address the issue, but no one ever answers the phone. How is a customer supposed to get in touch with someone when the restaurant won't answer? What makes it even more frustrating is that the restaurant wasn't even busy, yet they still had me move forward and wait for my order. There was no reason for my order to be incorrect, especially when they weren't dealing with a rush. This has happened more than once, and the lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. This location has really stepped it up over the last few months. The services quick, the food has been good, and they haven't forgotten any of my items (knock on wood) I recently had one of the most seasoned patties I've ever had from McDonald's and it was delicious. This place sucks. You placed an online order? You'll wait until the order says ready, go up there, pick a spot, just to end up having to wait another half hour. Because they never started the order. Oh. That order will also be wrong. Going through the drive through? Met with attitude and low IQ half the time which causes your order to be wrong even if it's right on the screen. I get half the employees are kids in high-school but come on. How do you train them so poorly? On 5/25/25 we arrived at MCDonalds drive thru in Hutto at 11:04pm. There were 2 vehicles In front of us. However, it took 8 minutes to order our food. They asked me if I was using the mobile app, which I said no. Then, another employee said they were taking Uber eats or DoorDash orders Only. Is this a new thing now? If this is how they want to do business, why don't they have a sign out, so we don't waste time in the drive thru? We didn't see any information related to this in their website. worst McDonald's ever. tried to get a Sausage McMuffin. All I could do was give me a sausage egg McMuffin take it back. Give me another sausage egg McMuffin take it back and asked me if I want hashbrowns coffee I didn't want hashbrowns or coffee. All I wanted was a sausage McMuffin finally ended up getting charge for $4.25 for a $2.19 sausage McMuffin because they charge me for the egg too and I never got the McMuffin. Been to this location twice and twice it's been a bad experience. I don't know if the employees are not paid well enough because they seem to really hate their job. Went inside the first time to place order to dine-in and person who took my order had an attitude, a simple order took longer than it should have because she was not paying attention to what I was ordering then got upset when she had to enter the order again. Second time I placed an order on the mobile app, when I got there there was a huge line, after waiting for 5 minutes and no movement I decided to park and just go inside. I selected to pick up my order inside on the app and it gave me a message that my order was cancelled and a refund would be issued. I saw about 6 people standing around waiting, the person taking orders seemed confused and everyone inside was moving really slow, no sense of urgency given the long lines. I decided to leave and went somewhere else. 4 days later, still no refund, saw that the amount was charged to my bank account and points docked as well. I contacted the store but they never pick up the phone, contacted McDonad's customer care and just received an email showing their refund policy which is basically to contact the store. Stay away from this place, they will take your money while never serving you the order and comes with a side of bad attitude and terrible service. read more

Tired of Cold greasy fries EVERY TIME I come to this location!!! The large French fries has increased in price of more than $.90 in the past year. Like people aren't noticing every time they come to McDonald's it seems to cost more on every trip. I don't care if this place is independently owned or a corporate store or sucks that they are constantly nickel and diming people in our community. McDonald's used to be the go to place for fun and good fast food. Now it's all about slow service, ridiculously long drive thru wait times and COLD FOOD being pushed through the window. Ignore the fact it's on cardboard- I pulled out this many uncooked raw fries out of my carton- all of which were on the bottom. I worked at a McDonald's so I understand that some might fall in by accident but you shouldn't be serving those raw fries to customers and should be taking them out if you see them. So I've been coming here to take my kids for over a year to play, it used to be horrible with 30min wait time for dining area, missing items, disrespectful workers, and boy I started putting in complaints after I got fed up because the kids would beg me to bring them here because of the playground! Finally a few months ago I guess they got so many complaints and I've noticed big changes, mostly new staff, we get our orders in about five mins and staff is actually respectful now, besides for the restrooms having issues with one of the sinks not running and and could have the trash taken more frequently it truly has turned around and no where close to what they used to be, it's now a great place to take the kids and parents to actually sit back and relax read more

This location is one of the few drive thru options in town. The drive thru line can get crazy in the morning depending on what is happening here. Also, on football or sports night steer clear away! The line will be crazy since there is not many options for fast food in town. Once you order, the line goes by fast. It's just the wait to get to the ordering part that can take a while. This morning they were offering free breakfast to students in 3rd to 8th grade for STAAR testing. The drive thru was crazy busy even though the offer for free breakfast was dine in only. The line inside was all the way to the door. I could see people standing by the entrance waiting patiently. The service itself is not bad. Order, pay at first window, then get food at the second window. I like their iced coffee here so sometimes it's worth the wait when the struggle is real! read more
