This McDonald's customer service SUCKS!!! The drive thru is the worst ever. You will drive up and be waiting in line one and they will take 2 orders from line 2 when you've been waiting. If I could give 0 stars I would absolutely do so. The service here is the worst I have ever experience in my life! They made me sit in the driving through for 45 minutes waiting for my food. Every time the worker came out to give people their food they always asked what my order was and that it was never made. So after the 6 round of them asking I just went in to get my food. I waited inside for 10 minutes constantly returning my food cause they was got it wrong. I don't think a cheeseburger with ONLY pickles and ketchup would be so hard to make. I sent that burger back 4 times! Then I didn't even check my other meal and it ended up being wrong too. They ALSO didn't give me any compensation for this horrendous service they provided. Don't use the app to order your food. It doesn't work. I placed an order at 1220p.m. for 2 fish filets got there around 1235 p.m. and my food wasn't even ready. Didn't get my food till 1255 p.m. I had to wait cuz I already paid thru the app. Seriously WTF! Seem like they didn't even put my order thru till I got there to get my food. Twice in one week! Waiting in a drive thru as I write this. 10 minutes since I ordered and it's not busy. Very limited customers inside and drive thru. 12 minutes. When I ordered, it took 5 minutes to even get an attendant- all I could hear is the employees arguing. 15 minutes - I paid. Still waiting. Wish I hadn't paid. 17 minutes. At the window. Nobody at the window. Another minute, finally get my food. No sorry, no thank you, just a rushed employee, trying to shuttle me through. I normally avoid fast food. It's not good for me. I have gone to the Hyde Park location for years. It use to be a good go to stop that was convenient with warmth and familiarity, but quite frankly it is horrible now. My family and I have seen the quality of service go down greatly during the last six months to a year. We are done! When they make a mistake on your order they do not treat you with courtesy, dignity, respect, or rectify situations. Instead, I am seeing arrogance, impatience, and even rudeness for food that is ok. I would much rather support a local Macdonald's. When my patronage is not valued however, you won't get any more of our money. McDonald's isn't nearly my favorite fast food chain, but this location was all right. It's been so long since I've driven down this section of Hyde Park Avenue. Even though it's always been industrial, now it's just different with the torn down buildings and the few fires that have occurred as well. Even this McDonald's changed. It used to be huge with a ginormous playland area inside, and it vanished. New building, which is nice, but for the kids, didn't McDonald's have enough to build a new playland here? Seriously. Anyway, the drive thru here is accurate in service, but slow as molasses. I waited roughly ten minutes waiting on four cars at both windows. Really annoying and frustrating. Food is fine.... nothing else to say, it's McDonald's. The large parking lot and one way entrance and exits are a nice addition. Staff seems somewhat friendly and mostly accurate. I still would've had a better experience at Wendy's if I felt like driving five-ten minutes to get there. Overall, ok McD's but nothing special. read more

If I could give this zero stars I absolutely would. EVERY TIME we come to this specific McDonalds it's always the same rude lady at the window. She has a bad attitude... EVERY TIME. We always order two meals if not three and she REFUSES to give more than one sauce! AS IF IT COME OUT OF HER PAYCHECK!!! For two separate sandwiches and fries and sometimes the happy meal, we should be getting three separate sauces. She also never makes sure there are napkins in the bag and you can tell they have their fries sitting out all day, they're never fresh OR hot. Don't waste your money at this McDonalds. This is for the drive thru. It's super efficient. I'm usually here most days after school, around 6 p.m. and I get what I want pretty quickly. The staff recognizes me, which is somewhat kind of sad. But I appreciate them taking "fast" seriously. read more

I went to the drive thru to place an order. I said hello no one answeded i kept saying hello at least for 5 minutes again no one say anything , and drove to the window and i said can I order something, and she gave me a look I said i didn't know what to do that is why I drove to the window so I can order the food. she said you should wait at the drive thru . I said I know but you could have you will be right with, she said, Can you see I was with a customer next time you F..ng wait I said excuse me, she was her on phone texting she said you fucking wait I said I will file a complaint for you. she said oh he is here do you want to talk to him. I said not thim I will file a complaint to the corporate manager. She was so confident and willing to call the manager for me on site. I did not reported to the manager because they all are the same. As i was pulling out from the drive thru, she said you don't even know how to drive Bitch. I was speechless. it happened between 10-40, 10-45pm. and also she said the F.. word and calling bitch so loud i don't know how the manager did not hear anything. the employees are very loud including the manager talking diferent languages they have no filters. they need to have proper training, and learn how to talk to customers. as I was leaving she said the F.. word and calling me bitch. I turned around and I said Fuck you. my thing is the fact that she used foul languages. she is a young adult I am sure she can do better. employee needs to put their phone away while working. please visit the restaurant without telling them because it is sad. To be quite honest i'm not even sure why I keep coming here. They cannot get my breakfast sandwich right EVER! All i wanted was a ham egg & cheese with bacon added on an english muffin. I get a bacon egg and cheese on an english muffin every time with no ham. And the lines are so long I have no time to go back in and correct the issue. So therefore I end up overcharged because they charge you $2.00 to add (2) 2" strips of bacon. Seriously!? I paid almost $15.00 for 2 incorrect sandwich's, a hashbrown and an orange juice. I visited the McDonald's at 12:20 am on 11/6 and ordered a large fries and a mcchicken. When I got home the sandwich had two large bites in it. I drive back to the McDonald's and heard the gentleman on the mic say to another employee "you can't be eating in here like that" and told me I got the wrong bag. I waited for a new meal and left. The gentleman asked me if I wanted anything extra for my troubles but that wasn't my motivation. I had a long night with my child and just wanted a quick meal before going home. This was absolutely disgusting and not what people are expecting when they order a late night meal. I will never go back there and would suggest no one go there during the late night hours. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my life. I went there at night time and ordered burgers and fries. after receiving the order we noticed that the fries were cold and hard. I caught a manager coming out like she was leaving for the night and explain the situation . She told me to go to the side window and give them the fries back which I did . After waiting seven minutes I went back to the window and ask what is taking the fries so long . A different girl came back to the window and said "move out away from the window".. I said I am waiting for my fries to come back she laughed close the window and I waited another three minutes , went back to the window and another girl came to the window laughing and said" we are still making the fries so wait". after waiting another three minutes and watching them laugh inside I left. I will NEVER go back. The bad part is this is the only thing my stomach craved after my Cancer treatment the day before. Check your receipts! Caught them trying to charge more than the price on the sign for the #2 value meal. I brought this to the cashier's attention, but she insisted (3 times in a row) what the price was, even though I told her about the sign in the drive-thru. The only thing worse than a business that overcharges its customers, is a business with employees who don't listen to and argue with customers. At that point I wasn't interested in taking a chance on this annoyed teenager spitting in my food, so I left the place, but I did call the number posted in the window. Restaurant and staff deserve only one star, but I'm giving two because the people on the phone were extremely apologetic, promised to make corrections right away, and even offered to send coupons. read more

One good reason to go is because their cheese burgers are super juicy. Also, you can put any toppings on it. I enjoy my cheese burger with ketchup and pickles. If you go, you should try it. The second reason why you should go to McDonalds is because their french fries are super salty and that's what I LOVE! The moment they touch your tongue, it feels like you are in heaven. They're ok. Sometimes they get the order right. Sometimes, like tonight, "double cheeseburger, ketchup only" somehow ends up "double cheeseburger, no onions.. but everything else". It's not a hard concept. You can add things if they don't, but you can't take away the mustard and onion bits (that the slip claimed not to have) that are basically absorbed into the bread, not without gouging it. read more
