Food I've tried: - I am solely basing my review based on the coffee that I've tried (of which they have an extensive menu of). However they do have a variety of other food options which I have not tried. - Coffee wise, I got the latte ($4) which was very reasonably priced. Flavor wise, it was solid. They have a wide variety of latte options. I can see this place being recommended for someone who likes sweeter coffee drinks, or are embarking on their first forays into the world of lattes. With the Corona outbreak, Uber Eat has become my best friend, and I had PS petite bucket with 2 equal for the past 2 days!! Yummy as usual!! They taped up the cup carefully and the driver delivered at the front of my house!! What I really want to talk about is the owner's kindness and socially responsible!! I have been following PS Gourmet Facebook fan page and saw their effort in donating breakfast/meals with school closing, meaning kids from low income family would not have food to eat! I'm convinced their coconut iced coffee is what kept me sane through this Covid summer. They also just got rid of their credit card minimum of $10, which I think *everyone* is happy about! I personally appreciate how they've been great about cleanliness and procedures during these times, which I appreciate! (Open door, hand sanitizer, 6ft markers, plexiglass, etc.) The staff is always so nice and QUICK - plus they actually shake your iced coffee to blend it - 10/10 choose this place over "Dunks" or whatever other chain is around. Definitely get a "bucket" - you won't be disappointed, and their breakfast sandwiches are on point (sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit, ordered mine on the mobile app as well-done along with some other sandwiches, and not only did they listen, but they marked it for me on the wrapper! My pre-caffeinated brain was thrilled.) They just always go that extra step to make sure you're a happy customer. read more

I gave them a rating of three because unfortunately when we looked it up on yelp and stuff it showed it as having inside seating serving muffins and stuff like that having the lottery and everything I needed a break after finishing at the bank so we went in to get coffee and something to eat only to find out that they do not have inside seating they do not have the lottery you can get coffee and muffin to go but who wants to sit in the car when you're going into a restaurant/coffee shop and expecting to be able to eat there instead. The girl said they hadn't had a chance to change the Yelp post because of the fact that they've been busy but they're still shorthanded they still do a good variety of flavored coffees and stuff and they do have a $.99 small coffee no matter what which is great but was just disappointing that we couldn't eat inside you couldn't get the lottery you had to go outside and get another store. Hopefully in the future they'll get their tables and chairs able to put back and things will change so for that I'm only giving a half review because the coffee was good and the service was good but everything else was a bust. read more

This was the first time I walked into this place. I was visiting relatives for a bit and wanted to try new things that weren't available back in my hometown. So when I walked in to order I wasn't sure what to get. I asked one of the employees what are their most popular drinks were. She listed off a couple but I finally chose the "P.S. Special". I was surprised that they only had two drink size, regular and jumbo. After choosing a regular they asked how much cream and sugar I wanted. Two cream and two sugars, is the only thing I added to my drink. It was pretty sweet but not over powering. I enjoyed it very much and glad I was able to stop by. read more

My go to place for coffee in Roslindale. Large house blend coffee is 1.07 with tax and no complaints here. Their Pound Cake that had coconut and pineapple was pretty darn good too. If you are into flavored coffee, you are in for a treat! Try White Russian. Pretty damn good. read more

I've always driven by PS Gourmet Coffee and FINALLY made time to go. They have some of the BEST coffees out here and the best part is, they're also priced the best! There's street parking all around, they're really quick to make your orders! I love that they also sell half gallons of their house coffees that really came in handy when buying ahead for the party! They have so many different flavors available. They actually taste like what they are :) This is by far my new favorite coffee place! You'll definitely see me back here again! Gourmet is the last word I would use to describe this place. PS used to be the premier spot for coffee lovers 1-2 years ago. Their customer service is still top notch but the quality in beverages has fallen from grace. As a former employee in the coffee business, I can say whole heartedly ps went from giving you a damn good cup of coffee 9 out of 10 times to now everyday you really have to gamble with spending your money on something that just isn't worth it more times than not. Speaking of money, the prices have shot up horrendously too. These days I leave PS annoyed that I spent $7 on a drink that is bland and just overall tasteless. Since the original staff has changed, I don't know what the training is like but a lot of the newer faces in there really have to step it up. Some days you do get lucky and get a great cup but it's just rare now and that's not worth the money. Today will be the second and absolutely LAST visit I will make to this establishment. So, I wore my mask when ordering. The girl immediately lets me know there's a "large" and a "bucket" yet I already told her large iced coffee with cream and sugar. She then tells me she got confused in a condescending way. I apologized because I was wearing a mask and maybe it was hard to hear - even though she interrupted my initial order. I explained to her that all's I said was a large iced coffee cream and sugar. After the transaction - she steps behind and out of sight, yet she is telling a coworker all about it. Loudly. "All's I said" being said over and over. But that's not even where things ended. As I was still inside and getting my coffee ready by the door, a few of them made abundantly clear the sizes. Like they just dealt with a moron, *me* I was not being hard to deal with. Am I supposed to assume their sizes, know all about them, and if it's a "bucket," where's the freakin handle? If you're gonna talk about a customer - wait til they leave. It did kind of ruin my day. Instead of replying or let them know I was still there, I just left. I hope this reaches management and they can explain to their employees that this will not garner business. Loooooove their coffee- I can get a tasty flavor without any sugar, which is both rare and perfect for me. I'm a fan of the Irish Mist, but have enjoyed all the flavors I've tried so far. Hate the fact that they're still using styrofoam though- I feel extra guilty every time I get something here. 3.5 stars When I first discovered this place about two years ago, it used to be amazing. I always got the PS special and it used to have a "wow" factor. But the last two times I've been it's just been "meh". I don't know if I'm getting sick of it or they actually changed their recipe for the PS special. Anyone that knows me knows that I run on Dunkin'. More often than not, you can find a large iced coffee from Dunks in my hand but after trying PS Gourmet, that might have to change! This is some of the BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER EVER HAD! Their unique and fun coffee flavors are SO flavorful and delicious. So far, my favorite is the banana hazelnut but I've also enjoyed the brownie toffee too. I tasted my friends Cinnamon Toast Crunch which was insane! They cold brew hot cocoa and then add it to certain coffees. It seriously tastes like the milk after you finish a bowl of cereal! Unreal. They also have beautifully delicious breakfast sandwiches and while I did not have a chance to enjoy one, (I'm watching my figure, thank you very much!) my friends sandwich was gorgeous. Fresh bagel, freshly scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese. Not a single item touched a microwave. Not bad! Only two downsides for me: 1) $10 credit card minimum. 2) No locations out here in the Metro West!!! COME TO FRAMINGHAM!!!! Will most certainly be back and soon!! read more

As I walked around Roslindale, I stumbled on this place. I decided why not give it ago. They have a pretty big selection of regular and iced coffees, the downside that stopped me from giving 5 stars is they seem to have a lot of flavored hot coffees which I'm really not into the flavored coffee thing. I settled on French Vanilla since I couldn't decipher the roast of the other coffees. I generally am more of a lighter roast kinda gal. The coffee was still good and hit the spot. They'll put cream and sugar in the coffee for you too. The place itself is pretty big although its mostly counter seating. read more

The iced coffee is pretty good, but the hassle is often not worth it. I order a black iced house coffee, and I have to clarify every single time, "no, I do not want cream and sugar in it". "Yes, just black." Why is that so difficult? And god forbid you order an espresso. I've gotten the excuse "oh shoot, they didn't clean the machine last night..." as to why it's not working. Really?? So they never clean the machine? It's unfortunate because the iced coffee is better than Dunkin', and the women behind the counter are all nice, but a coffee order just shouldn't be this difficult. read more

Everything is good here except now that they take credit cards and debit you have to do a 10 dollar minimum which companies should know that this is not allowed. Not only that it's pretty inconvenient then you need to use the ATM and get hit with a few just to pay your bill. I love coffee especially the custom brewed flavors and the limited time holiday flavors. For the past 5 years, I have been going to my local Rozzi PS and really love the customer service especially from one of the workers there named Haley. I would like to highlight her customer service work since, I have watched some of her co-workers stand there, laughing and socializing while she is working hard at making multiple drinks on her own. Haley is friendly, attentive, courteous and sweet. I look forward to getting my coffee especially on weekends when Haley works because I know she will make it perfect.
