It's difficult to find someone who works here who is over 21 years old and has a modicum of maturity as well. I have been here many times--it's always the same. I placed an online order for pickup today. I placed the order an hour and a half ahead to be picked up at a specific time. No surprise, it was not only not ready when I arrive on time-i waited about 20 minutes after I arrived. Had I not paid online-I would have just left. Young lady behind the counter (obviously a high school student) spent more time being dramatic and yelling at the other employees (for various reasons) in front of the customers. Horrendous experience. I'm done with this place.

I got my order and continued on my three hour journey. I ordered the chicken sandwich box which included fries, eight nuggets, a chicken sandwich, and a sweet tea. I ordered this combo because I haven't had kfc nuggets in years and heard they'd changed and so had the chicken sandwich, post-chicken sandwich war era. Best. Nuggets. Ever. Unpopular opinion but.... They were better than Chick-Fil-A, who uses too much sugar in their batter. Way better than any fast food nuggets on the market right now, in general. As far as the sandwich, the bun was fresh, the chicken was hot and crispy, but what impressed me most was they didn't skimp on my favorite part of a chicken sandwich; the pickles. There was a pickle in every delicious bite!! That, combined with the fresh bun and the perfectly cooked chicken with exactly the right amount of mayo, put this sandwich as a top contender for fast food chicken sandwich choices. 10/10. Fries were also great, as well as fresh. It's rare that a fast food chain hits on all levels, but seriously, this location is the trifecta. Can't speak on ambience because I didn't go in, but I'd recommend this KFC location if you're traveling through Jefferson, Georgia. No pictures because I was driving, but the food delivered on aesthetic as well. It looked great and tasted great. Other locations could learn from visiting this one.
