I placed an order on the mobile app for pick-up and checked in at the register. The cashier asked the kitchen about the order and when she got back to the register just acted like I wasn't even there and started taking the next customers order. After she took two orders without acknowledging me, I bit the bullet and asked her how much longer it was going to be, to which she replied 5-10 minutes. Cool, it's pretty crowded in there so I go wait in my car, then went back inside, got back in line, and when I got to the register it's still not ready. They're busy so I ask again how long it's going to be and was told that when they're busy mobile orders are not a priority....so it hadn't even been started. I get not starting on a mobile order if you're busy and the persons not even there but the fact that people waiting in line behind me got their meals before my ticket was even started is quite frankly ridiculous. Total wait time for 2 burgers and some chicken tenders was 24 minutes. read more

Grrr teenage staff doesn't care about screwing up your order. Every time I come here my order gets messed up. I get home and missing half my stuff. They don't care and act like they don't want to be there. This place has really gone down hill. read more

This place is and has always given small portions. I bought a 6 piece chicken strip basket, got home and opened it and had hardly any fries. I actually counted 21 before eating them. Watch out because the teenage staff will short you on your order or mess it up completely. read more

This is one of the better run Dairy Queens I have been to in northeast Georgia. Always clean and friendly. The service is usually pretty fast and the food is terrific. I go about twice a month and have not had a bad experience. Certainly the best restaurant in Jefferson. read more

I am sad to report that since my last review, my Hometown DQ has gone down the hill rapidly. There has been several mgmt. changes and from what I was told directly by the "new" owner, he is the original owners son. For almost a year there has been a 50% error rate when I would visit. I got into the habit of reminding them to double check my order. I was patient because they are youngins. BUT now I have over 1100 rewards points that they refuse to accept. There is one very rude very aggressive manager and when I had my 1st run in with her the owner defended her and offered me a blizzard which declined. I want a Great Restaurant and I can pay for my own ice cream. Obviously he doesn't understand food service customer service. So I waited over a month and tried again. When I got to the window she was there and she refused to accept my points AGAIN. I called the owner while I was in the drive thru. He said he was out of town. I hope he learns he should be running his restaurant instead. I will not patronized this location until ownership/management changes. I hope they don't go out of business before then. in the meantime I have contacted corporate and they have responded already. Fingers Crossed! read more

We were in town for a family reunion and stopped by for blizzards. I tasted my double fudge cookie dough blizzard and it had an awful metallic, sour taste. Apparently their cocoa fudge was sour or old. My friend found a foreign object in the bottom of his shake. Horrible ending to a good day. Customers beware. read more

this is my favorite DQ!! it always comes in clutch whether you're in the mood for something sweet, like their ice cream or blizzards, or something tasty, like their burgers, their snack wraps, or their fries - no matter what you get, it'll be fresh. i don't think i've ever been served bad food whether through drive through or dining in. employees are always nice, and i've never had a problem with my order getting messed up either. read more

Jefferson Dairy Queen has the most hospitable employees Ive ever seen! They are high schoolers, but most of them care about the location enough to bend over backwards for every customers request. The food there comes out hot and freash and doesnt take long either. If you have a complaint they will do whatever possible to make it right. I had to wait a couple of minutes during a busy time and they offered me a free small sundae for my wait. They are always making sure the customers are happy ! The cleanliness of the store is also wonderful. You can tell these guys really busts their butts to make sure the store is nice and clean for the customers. I would highly recommend Jefferson DQ for all occasions, supper time, after school hangout or ice cream after the game! They are willing to accommofate the best way they can! Also a big shout out to the owner David, he really makes sure his store and his crew are his #1!! Yall rock Jefferson DQ! read more
