I rarely give a bad review. You can see from my history. This had to be the filthiest McDonald's that I have ever seen. The tables had all been wiped down with dirty, smeary rags. I observed a homeless man coming out of the men's room that smelled so bad that I could smell him from across the room. There was this loud beeping coming from behind the counter that was so loud. I just wanted to leave but I wasn't driving. I refused to order anything but the kids did. If I had been driving I would have immediately left. Worst service ever. You walk up to counter and instead of saying something like please wait a second I'll be with you or something they just ignore you like you're not there. The workers communication skills are trash. I mean if you don't like the job there's a lot of other places you could go. Just leave and let someone who actually gives even a slight crap about working work there. I wouldn't even give it that one star. We've been sitting in line for over an hour. It's not the two employees that are actually working so don't take it out on them they were nice and polite. This location won't let you order a sandwich "as a meal." For example, my kid likes the spicy chicken sandwich. Every other location in the world understands that "Can I get that as a meal?" means, "Please add fries and a drink." Here, they seriously just say, "No" and make you explain you want fries and a drink added to the sandwich. Also, the owner of this location has randomly stopped taking different credit cards before, so you never know if your AmEx or Discover is just not going to be accepted at the window. read more

This place is a joke they never get the food right they are always rude . Last time went in there the nuggets were so brown from them not changing the grease. one the workers told me that then week later he was fired cause he told me that. I've gotten drinks also from here that the ice literally made my sprite brown . So our family stopped going here and started going to ryan street.. love this store up until a out 3 weeks or so ago and they were very rude I contacted corporate and the ladie who's supposed to make things right over 60 dollars in food thrown out the women says oh just message contact me when you go that way and I'll call store get you refund bullshit she won't even reply now . This McDonalds is always iffy. The food usually comes out correct, for me at least, but the response time for the speaker is awful. You'll sit there for 20 minutes waiting on them to just say hello meanwhile you are now trapped in the line and cant leave cause everyone else is waiting. read more

What on earth happened to the Ryan Street McDonald's? They used to be the fastest and cleanest place in Lake Charles. My husband and I went there today, though, and Lord have mercy! It took forever to get our order...my husband finally had to go up to the counter and ask what was taking so long. The lobby and bathrooms were FILTHY! Why have a walk up window to order and you forget about the person's order after paying for the food. My brother in law order his food and 30 minutes went by and he had to ring the bell to get his food. Then on top of that his food wasn't prepare he had to wait 10 more minutes to receive his food!!!!!!! So sad never again will I visit this location!!! read more

Its mcdonald's people what can I say. Unfortunately not many qualified people want to work here therefore there's usually mistakes made on orders. Most of the time you get a manager that is kind and extremely apologetic and replaces the order with no arguments but I did recently get a female manager who was very abrasive in her tone when speaking to me. She told me she had personally bagged the food herself and knows that she did not miss count the burgers placed in the bag. Now I'm not so hard up for $1 that I'm going to claim they didn't give me a burger just to get one free. All she needed to do was just apologize, give me the burger I was missing and it would have been fine but when you argue with a customer over a $1 burger something is just not right. If I didn't live so dang close to this McDonalds I would go to a different one. read more

OK to say something about McDonald's McDonald's is good to eat something fast and can eat something that is decent now it has a lot of good points to go with it like some McDonald's have play areas for the kids which is good thing my favorite their big Mac and a large fry read more

As far as breakfast at McDonald's goes, the food was great and the girl behind the counter was helpful. I enjoyed them bringing my food to the table and not having to stand and wait for it like most every other McDonald I have ever been in. read more

After I made the reservation, my friend and I started to count down number of days before we can enjoy this meal, and it eventually came. As a falling angel this year from Michelin three, people would tend to think food quality was not as consistent as before, it is not the case at all. As a perfectionist, I can only say it is impeccable. We tried several value meals, and each course was prepared with detail. One course I especially enjoyed was the Big Mac, pairing itself perfectly well with the fries. McNuggets was another one of my favorites, mixing together with the light flavor of Bar-B-Que sauce. Towards the end, both the apple pie and soft-serve ice cream was the best memory to complete the whole set. They provided us the soft drinks as well as a small bakery as gifts. Such a classic experience as today is my friend's farewell dinner. I deeply enjoyed the whole night and nothing was even close. read more

I woke up today and in my naive, childish, unassuming mind, thought I could go to McDonald's and get something to eat before work. I arrived and ordered a Medium Coke, a quarter pounder, and a medium fry. I pulled up to the window and the cashier wasn't nice but wasn't hostile either. I then pulled up to the food window and the person gave me my drink and directed me towards a reserved drive thru spot. I want in a big rush and in my stupid, benevolent mind thought I should give them the time of day. After all, they're busy, they're one of the busiest fast food places in Lake Charles! I waited over 20 minutes for A BURGER AND FRIES. 7 people got their order before I did. 2 of the 7 people their worker got to me first. 2 of the people's orders were longer and bigger than mine was and yet their order was put before mine? After a 20 minute wait I had to leave for work. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I will definitely not be visiting this establishment again. The only reason this sad place got 2 stars because the service wasn't hostile and the coke was decent. If you are even thinking of going to this place, do yourself a favor and go to Wendy's instead. read more

If you want a cold hamburger, stale biscuit, messed up order, this is the place to go. During the 2.5 years I've gone here, I've never been satisfied with an order. I know, it says a lot about me but I figured with the high turnover rate they have there, they'd sooner or later find someone who can actually read the instructions and abide by them.
