This has to be one of the slower McDonalds I've visited around the US. It doesn't matter what time you go there, you'll going to be waiting probably 10-15 minutes longer than you should. To top it off, I ordered a number 6 combo with a coke, no coke, okay a diet, 'no diet because because we're out of coke' how about a sprite, we're out of that also. Okay tell me what you do have and I'll choose from that. Diet Dr. Pepper. . Okay, I'd also like to add an ice cream cone... guess what, the ice cream machine is broken!! Horrible service is what best describes this McDonald's. I placed a mobile order for a 10 piece chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce just before I arrived. Once I entered the restaurant I found my order number on the screen and I patiently waited for my order. Then one of the counter staff tells me that they were out of honey mustard sauce and in doing so, the counter staff was laughing at me. I opted for ketchup instead and got my order. I did not appreciate the counter staff laughing at me over condiments that were out of stock. This was unprofessional and uncalled for. Now if I were the manager of this McDonald's the counter staff involved would have been fired. If you are out of condiments such as honey mustard sauce say so but in a professional way. And also update your mobile order menu to reflect availability of menu items including condiments. There are other McDonald's restaurants up and down the Interstate 4 corridor. Apparently this McDonald's at the County Line Road exit on Interstate 4 in Lakeland does not want your business - I would keep driving on to the next one. read more

Emily took care of us. I dislike McDonald's...until I ate here. It was really cool in the restaurant, and clean. The food was hot and fresh. She was kind and courteous. The breakfast was quick and good. I think if all McDonalds had an Emily they would all be much better. Great breakfast stop. Stopped here to get a caffeine fix on the way to Disney for the day. We had some major issues. We ordered the any size drink for $1, but only got small cups. We asked for the large cups and they told us that the only cup they could give us were the small cups. However the sweet tea was $1. No, I don't want sweet tea, I want a large diet coke and I want it for the advertised price of $1. Their answer was that they are a franchised store. Bad answer, bad decision franchaise owner. Way to piss people off and not get return customers trying to make 1¢ more per customer. Guess what, lost customers earn no revenue. Additionally, my mother-in-law's drink lid on her mocha was not attached and it leaked all over her. Not cool. Thought I'd avoided this one and found another. I was wrong.. Customer service was ok, they were friendly, but maaan are they slow. And this place is mess. Spilled pop puddled and edges drying on the floor. Fries were undercooked. Employees don't seem to pay much attention to what you ask for. While I was waiting for 19 minutes for my food, I watched them forget part of an order and they had no sweet tea. Asked an employee to get me one, and she starts filling sweet tea. Finally got my sweet tea and left. I drive a truck and had to park in the roadway as apparently these truck drivers here think it is an all night truck stop (to the guy that said they harass him if he spends the night). One star is too many. I went through DT and ordered an iced coffee with espresso shot. When I was handed my drink, I asked if they put in the espresso shot. The girl looks at me light a deer caught in headlights and then says "yes". I tasted it as I drove away and could tell there was no espresso. So, I park and go inside where I find a woman and her child standing at front counter being ignored. This woman literally had to call out to someone and ask them if they were going to ask them what they would like. I got someone's attention and let them know my coffee was wrong. The same girl who said she put the espresso shot had to go get a manager to show her how to do it because she didn't know. So, she flat out lied to me at the window about putting it in. On another occasion, I sat at lane two DT and no one ever took my order. I had to pull up and go inside where I was ignored for a while before getting to order. On a third and final strike, I order a filet and a QP no pickle, no onion in my way to work. I get to window and they ask me if I ordered two filet. I told them my order, which was correct on my receipt. I get to work and I have two QP, one as I ordered it and the other with bacon and what appeared to be EXTRA pickle and onion. This is the worst McDonalds service I've ever experienced. I'm giving it 1 star because it wont allow me to give 0. I mobile ordered a cheeseburger Happy Meal and medium fry to be picked up inside the restaurant. I walked into the restaurant within about 5 min of placing the order, expecting to maybe wait about 2-3 min for my food to be ready since the restaurant was empty. Instead, I waited for over 30 minutes before I received my food. The employees were absolutely useless, literally standing around doing nothing. It was only after explaining multiple times what my order was over this 30-minute period that I actually recieved it, but it took some convincing. The employees I spoke to claimed either that they would prepare it themselves and then didn't, claimed that someone else was in the process of making it which was also not accurate or said they were going to go make it for me "now" and then walked away to go to the restroom or a completely different area of the kitchen to chat with other employees instead of attempting to put together my order. One other claimed that they thought they already prepared that order but couldnt find where it went to. She didnt even consider to attempt to remake it to give to me, just looked for it for about 5 seconds, couldn't find it, gave up and then disappeared. I was frustrated to the point where I was just about to ask if I could have my whole order refunded when an employee I hadnt spoken with yet came over and asked again what I ordered. I pointed to the monitor screen where my order number was flashing red for being so overdue and explained my it again. At this time the manager (I assume) came out and also asked me what I ordered. I went over everything with her too and then, after telling me that they didn't have some of the sauces that I requested with my order, she said she could have sworn she gave my order to me at curbside spot #5 earlier. I assured her that I had been waiting for 30 minutes for my food in the lobby and I was not outside in a curbside spot at any point. The whole vibe I got from her was that she thought I was trying to scam them out of free food or something when all I wanted was my mobile order. Finally, an extremely unenthusiastic employee named Hennessey came over and dumped my food on the counter said "sorry" as she walked away. I will never ever, ever return to this McDonald's again. How this level of incompetentcy is being accepted in this location is beyond me. read more

Returning late from a bowl game on Friday Dec. 28 in Orlando and staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn we went to this McDonald's to get something to eat. The sign on the door said the dining area is open until midnight. We arrived at 11:15 pm and the door was locked. We went up to the drive thru to inquire why the dining area was closed and it was clearly posted that it was to be open for 45 more minutes. The employee who answered could not or would not give us a clear answer. When we asked to speak to a manager she responded none was present. We left and went to a nearby Subway. It certainly appears that either the posted times are incorrect or the employee closed early on their own. Management needs to revise their posted times or question the employee(s) involved. read more

I don't want to review a McDonald's because at its best it's still going to be McDonald's. And by reviewing it, you're admitting to having eaten there. But I would rather face the shame of admitting to having eaten there than not review since it was so incredibly bad. 25 minutes in the drive through on a Saturday at 2pm. But it's like that when I pull through on a weekday for coffee too. But after waiting 25 minutes, a plain, ketchup only, quarter pounder with cheese gets delivered via greasy sack smothered in onions, pickles and mustard. You know how when you're sick you crave that one comfort food thing? Well, what I got was not it. And I was feeling too crummy to turn around. Came to this McDonald's after drill on a Saturday... we ordered on the machines in the lobby and everything came out correctly. The problem was when we got back to the unit to eat our breakfast the egg on my egg McMuffin had literal egg shells on the outside of it. It was crunching in my teeth and I instantly spit it out. The worst customer service I've ever encountered at any McDonalds. The ladies working were talking and laughing so loud, except for the one taking drive thru orders. We ordered at the kiosk and after paying were told they didn't have salad. They ended up giving me the lettuce that's on the burgers which was not ideal, but fine. Although the salad was pitiful with barely any lettuce or toppings. I also paid for ice cream and when they delivered my food I asked them where it was. I know it's just a McDonald's but wanted to compliment this location for their friendly staff, clean facility, and prompt service.

I don't expect much from fast food but this place sets a new low. Service is always slow, whole team seems to just not care. My order is nearly always wrong. Many times i see what looks like a manager talking to employees well people just wait in lines to even place their order. On a few occasions they even took my order in drive thru said i needed to pull up and did not deliver my food for 15+ minutes.
