This is the absolute worst McDonald's in Lexington. 100% morons, every single time I go, every single morning every single order... Complete and utter ignorance. They take a simple order and completely destroy it, they're lazy, they don't pay attention and the managers don't give two s****. The food is sometimes okay if you can get it in a decent amount of time and or get your order right. I don't understand how a restaurant can be so dysfunctional and so full of screw-ups without the owner or district manager stepping in and fixing it. This is been going on for almost two years. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I do not go here for myself anymore. Only go for others as a last resort. I will not discuss the countless times I've waited in line (not very long line) for 30 mins or more, only to get a wrong order. Lets face it, y'all aren't reading my review to decide which McDonalds or which fast food joint to choose from. So I wonder, how in the world do I review any McDonalds when they are all the same with a few minor differences. One difference that I noticed here is that they don't have soda fountains in the lobby, so if you need a refill, you have to wait in line all over again. I did notice that they recently added a tea dispenser in the lobby though. Tvs... not all McDonalds have tvs, right? They have them here. They also have free wifi. A Redbox near the start of the drive thru, close to the first of the two entrances. This particular location is located in the shopping center across from Meadowthorpe subdivision, on Leestown Rd. The newly revamped Kroger is also in the same shopping center and you know what they say about grocery shopping while hungry. So, this is where I find myself when I'm in need of a fast food meal before grocery shopping. I love McDonalds fries, but since I'm trying to stick to my New Year resolution on my latest visit I stuck to my go to meal. At only 290 calories, the Southwest grilled chicken salad is my favorite fast food salad. I know it's probably weird, but it's even under $5. read more

We have been trying this McDonald's over and over again over the last two years. Every time we go our order is delivered incorrectly with items missing. No exaggeration, every time. This occurs even during light traffic times, there are multiple items missing from the order, and often we do not get a receipt and so it is difficult to dispute missing items. In the mornings, this drive-thru is the slowest I've ever seen. I waited for 10 minutes before my order was even taken. They seem very under staffed. Whoever owns this McDonald's needs to be better to their employees and create a better situation for both staff and customers. read more

Morning service is A LOT BETTER Than their evening and night service. I literally had to wait almost 40 minutes in their drive thru one night because I was stuck in between two vehicles and could not get out of drive thru. I hate to say it but we hit this place up at least once a week. 2 starts ONLY bc the morning staff is on point. Try and swing through after work around 6pm and you may as well forget it. The evening staff is painfully slow. The little girl with the fake red hair should not be forced to attempt to multitask. I'm talking 10-15 minutes waiting in the drive through. Absolutely Horrible!!! I would give zero stars if I could!! The drive Thur was backed up to the street so we went inside, but it didn't matter! One girl on the register so when we were next a guy walked up to take more orders and I'm sorry but not the brightest crayon in the box and should stay in the back! We gave him a coupon off the app and he still managed to screw up our order!!! This morning I wished for a Hardee's on our side of town. This Mickey D's used to be top notch. Ow even with 2 drive thru they still can't get it done. The drive thru shorts orders almost every time. the credit card machine is down two or three mornings per week. you order a large drink you get small. what happened to quality. This place is starting to go downhill. The employees lack customer service. When in the drive through, I asked if they can make a double cheeseburger into a meal. The representative instantly said no. Didn't ask any questions or anything. So I canceled that part of my order. Then, I drive to the window and the rep ( Hayley) proceeded to explain why she told me that she can not do what I asked. Me, (furious already because I know you can turn a double cheese burger into a meal by adding a medium fry and drink) explained that I know she was wrong. She then proceeded to add that to my order even though I already canceled it. Did not ask me if I still wanted the item or not. You just don't do that to people. Her attitude was as if she didn't want to be there. Understanding that this is her way of providing for her family, it doesn't mean that she or any other employee should lack the characteristics that McDonalds is founded on. ANSWER to everyone's problem: DON"T EAT HERE. it is a fast food drive thru. If I had to deal w customers expecting a gourmet meal from a drive thru I would flip out. So what is you have to wait in drive thru. Ask yourself this how do you know whoever is cooking or preparing your food is mentally or physically handicapped, how do you know their not slower than most people. I have eaten at the location several times and each time they are either out of most the items I have tried to order or the food they do have is terrible and old. They constantly mess up orders and you can't even fill your own drink inside the restaurant. I live less than 5 minutes away from this location but I will now be driving 10 minutes to go to a better McDonald's. read more

This location is near where I work and, of course, its a cheap & convenient choice for lunch. I don't like McDonald's as a rule however, I like the Monopoly game when it comes around, so they get me to come in during this. Bad food (even for fast food) and bad attitude. I have had a bad time here more than once; it is the rule rather than the exception. Most recently, I went through the drive thru and ordered a #1 ( for you healthy folks that is a Big Mac meal) which comes with the sandwich, fries and a drink. I paid at the first window and went to the second one where a snotty girl handed me a sandwich and a drink - no fries. When I asked, "Wasn't it a meal?" She replied, "no", annoyed to be questioned. She said that I ordered a "Big Mac only". I knew this was quite impossible as I ordered by number. She consulted a manager who told her to give me the fries. She objected but her manager insisted. The manager also said to apologize for the inconvenience. The girl was gone for quite some time. She finally returned and shoved a small bag out the window - fury on her face - no apology that she was instructed to give. The fries were small, cold and burned. It would seem she had gone out of her way to round them up just for me. But, the sandwich was just as awful: cold and drowning in "special sauce". At least a 1/2 cup of it . . . Ughhh. The soda may have been okay but the special sauce gooped out all over everywhere including my drink. All in all, not a satisfying experience. I understand bad service and food is the standard with fast food, but I thought that was only back when they were cheaper than a real restaurant! read more

This is BY FAR the WORST McDonald's restaurant in Lexington, in KY, is the USA, in the WORLD!!! My experience tonight consisted of waiting over 30 MINUTES for an order of 20-piece McNuggets!!! I was unable to get inside of the store, so I called in and asked to speak to a manager, and when I alerted him of the issue, I was told that "we're working in it." I declined the food when it finally came (8 minutes after I called), and I asked for a full refund. I got my refund and a "sorry." The manager had no consideration for my time, nor did he care that a once-loyal customer NO LONGER would be patronizing their establishment. I WISH I could give them ZERO STARS!!! read more

i walked there about 2 weeks ago and the regrister people were very kind and welcomed you and i got 2 burgers and they feeled me right up :)
