We went on a Sunday morning around 9:30ish. At that time of the morning I was a little surprised at how busy the drive through was and how many people came in to order. The girl that took my order was on her second day there and you could definitely tell. The man in front of me became impatient with her and told her to void his order and he'd go elsewhere. The woman behind me was being a "Karen" and I had enough so I told her so. As for me the young lady was friendly even though she was obviously overwhelmed. She needed help entering my order and at the end of the transaction I realized when I received my order I had been charged for two breakfast platters . (No biggie I gave the other one to my neighbor when I got home ). Yes the wait time was longer than normal but that's to be expected when you have a new crew. In the end the food was hot and fresh &exactly what I wanted . The tables were clean &so was the lobby . We had our pick of tables and it wasn't loud at all. read more

Waited over 20 minutes in curbside and ended up having to pull into the drive through and waited another 10 minutes to get our food. We had to tell them want we ordered multiple times as they had no idea. Lady at the window was completely out of it and you could barely understand what she was saying. We have been rang up wrong every visit, and then when we get to the 2nd window employees don't know what was on our order. Multiple times we have left with wrong items and extremely poor customer service. This trip especially employees were arguing and saying "we're messing up cause of her slow ass and she keeps fucking up the order". We waited for over 20 mins on our food, along with several other cars who had been there before us. We decided to hop into the drive through where they said "we never got your order it must be your phone" At this point my card had been charged already, and I don't know how they didn't get my order but they were going to make it right. The only reason I am writing a review for a fast food location is because you DO NOT get what you pay for at this location. Just returned from picking up from this location located at 1620 Leestown Rd Lexington KY - I repeated my order three times. Two 20 piece nuggets, 8 cheeseburgers with four being plain and 1 medium fry. I quietly waited 12 minutes in line. I repeated my order to the cashier at the window. I asked for specific sauces, which he repeated back to me. I paid $21. I was handed one medium size bag with everything crammed in. I left to head home to my kids who are having a sleepover. I arrive. I have 1 ten piece, four plain cheeseburgers, two regular cheeseburgers, and one medium fry and not a damn one of the sauces I asked for. I live 3.1 miles from the store. Everything was cold. I've called the store three times, each time it going to a generic voicemail that doesn't even identify it's McDonald's. I rarely eat at your establishment because of exactly this. I pay for something to be, at best, lukewarm. I get it, it's fast food. I don't fuss. I don't expect that much. I do however expect to get what I paid for. Maybe if your staff would focus on their job instead of standing in the drive thru bay laughing and talking my order would have been completed correctly. This location does not practice sanitary standards. If you order curbside, the person who sweeps the parking lot and takes the trash out gives you your food. There is no changing of gloves at all. This McDonald's is a perfect example of the old adage "good things come in small packages." Despite this store's compact size, it still has a two-lane drive-thru and the bright, clean lobby with four LCD televisions seats about 60 people. You'll need to go to the counter for drink refills, but when you do you'll find it manned by a significantly more cheerful staff than most other Lexington area McDonald's locations. They're not quite "Chick-fil-A perky," but close (and less creepy). Speed of service at the counter (I don't do drive-throughs) has been about as good as can be expected in my experience, but it still takes a little while to get your food because McDonald's current systems suck. That's not this store's fault, though, it's a corporate flaw. This store's food selection and quality are pretty much standard except for the addition of 4-Piece Chicken McNuggets to the "Dollar Menu & More" at a bizarre $2.10 price point. It's great they offer 4-Pieces à la carte since most stores don't (at least not on the menu), but why anybody would buy one when they can get a 20-Piece for $5 is beyond me. (Try pricing those puppies at $1, as I've seen at some stores in other states, and watch them fly out the door.) The best thing about this McDonald's, though, is the beautifully-landscaped outdoor seating area with a koi pond dubbed "McDonald's Spring" and concrete tables seating an additional 46 non-Supersized people.
