Last two times was very disappointing, pre order my food in my app and opted to have them bring it to my car in spot 2. Sat there for 20mins and watched several cars pull up and order and left. After the long line cleared I went into McDonald's to get my food. The lady said I was just about to bring it out. SMH! This McDonalds is a lot better than many in the surrounding area. I don't think we should judge it based off only a few reviews. Everytime I've gone here, I've only had good experiences. The people working are very kind and helpful, and they genuinely put a smile on my face when I leave. The food is fast food, what do you expect? It's fast food but when you're in a hurry, it's great. The first time I went I got a quarter pounder with cheese and it was cold. However, I've gone back many times and it's ok. Thank you for being one of the only good McDonald's around. It's hard to find any in the widespread metro area that actually makes food directly. Sausage and cheese McGriddle made perfectly. Asked for well done sausage and I got it. Pancake McGriddle buns were soft warm and fluffy with crispy, browned edges. Cheese was melty. Perfection. I came to this McDonald's maybe once a week for breakfast. This morning 4/5/22, I placed my usual order. The total usually comes to around $10.45. This morning the woman tried to charge me $13. I calmly explained to her that the total should be around $10.45 because of the bogo deal on the hash brown and sausage mcmuffin. She immediately got irate, and started speaking extremely disrespectfully. She then read my order back and stated the price, rather than trying to help a paying customer. I told her that she didn't have to be so short, to cancel my entire order. For as much as they charge you can sit down and have a decent meal already anyways. This experience was extremely disappointing. I highly suggest staying away from this business unless you like being talked to like trash. I will certainly never return. read more

I'm not going to actually review McDonald's but I came to grab a double cheeseburger (I crave the yellow cheese for some reason) but the line was enormous, so I went inside. All I know is, I remember when we were kids and they had the brown, boring, line-item menu boards. Do you remember those? I was blown away by how virtual everything has become at McD's. Don't get me wrong the food isn't any better, in fact it's not as good as it tasted when we were tikes and it's likely worse for you now than then, but I was just impressed with all the marketing....4 big screen hi-def menu boards with video of smoothies being mixed, soda being poured and bubbling up...it was like Back to the Future. I just found it fascinating...that tells you how long it's been since I actually walked into a McD's. Way to step up your game McD's...enticing America's less healthy cravings one customer at a time. I've been to many McDonald's. This one is nice. They have redesigned it so the inside looks like a very nice restaurant. They missed the mark in a couple of spots, however. In most of the newly designed ones I have been in there is a dividing wall between the dining and serving area. In this case they had built some tables into the wall directly in the serving area. There was then an alcove of tables that I expected. It looks out on the play area. But don't think you can let the kids go in there and expect that you can see them from the internal dining room. Not going to happen. In any case they cut some holes in the wall between the dining alcove and the serving area. That's okay unless there are diners on both sides in which case you get a full view of their table especially when they get up or sit down. The drive in area was filled up all the way to the roadway. We were going in anyway so no big deal. My personal experience here went like this : My family ordered the staples - cheeseburgers, number 1, et cetera. I gave them a chance, for the first time, with a special order. A 'sweet bacon' chicken sandwich. That turned into an ordeal because I had to answer like 8 questions to get one sandwich, some fries and a cup to get my own drink. They produced all the food almost immediately including my 'special made' item - only it was wrong. They took it back and said someone would bring out the new one. About ten minutes later I had to go to the counter and ask what was happening. I was told they were getting the crispy chicken ready. About 5 minutes later I got the sandwich. The cheese wasn't melted and it looked like the whole thing had been slapped together. On top of that the ice machine had no ice, drinks were out of order (with paper messages taped on the spouts announcing that), the garbage bins were overflowing and the floors had not been swept. As I was leaving I noted five employees standing around having a chat with one of the cooks on the grill. read more

This McDonald's is one of the worst. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work at this location. The managers don't do their jobs and they are unprofessional. I'm a 20 year old woman and earlier this week one of the managers physical touched me and was aggressive towards me. The manger is a 32 year old man and had no right touching me. The head manager has yet to reached out to me regarding the situation and has blown it off. I am the victim and I am being treated as if I'm the in the wrong. Something needs to be done and I refuse to be silent. The employees are under paid and the store is under staffed. For this store to be one of the best in Michigan they are doing awful and it's saddens me that this is what we consider one of the best when they aren't. Worst McDonald's in the area. Occasionally I order a 20 pc McNugget meal from McDonald's with hot mustard sauce. Stopped here and ordered this and I see only 3 sauces on the screen. I ask why not 4 and the girl tells me that is all they do. I ask if I order the 10 piece meal how many sauces? She answers with two sauces. So if I order two 10 piece meals? I would get a total of 4 sauces. So why would a 20 piece meal only come with 3 sauces? "that is what the screen tells me - you will have to pay if you want more" is the answer she gave me. I will never return to THIS McDonald's; don't have time for this level of stupidity. The McD's at 5 mile and Middlebelt is much better and nicer.
