Got to try out their veggie burger at an event for work. The offerings were smash, Rodeo, PB+B and the chipotle black bean burger. Their food truck is hauled by a Super Duty. The Chipotle Blackbean burger with Guernsey buttermilk ranch dressing and garlic fries. I ordered the chipotle black bean, added pickles, American cheese and grilled onions. The food truck line took over an hour to get to the front of the line and the order took about 25 minutes to come out. It was a long while for an average veggie burger. The lines for the truck was quite long, too long. Orders took about 25 minutes to complete. Not sure it was worth the wait for the food. The garlic fries were pretty good. A bit oily, was it garlic oil used? Still not bad. The veggie burger overall was so-so, not special. The veggie pattie was a bit overcooked and tasteless. The guernsey ranch is bland and doesn't add much flavor to the veggie burger much.

First time here, but not my last! Burger was GREAT! Seasoned well and cooked well down but not dried out. The garlic fries were good too! Service was fast and friendly and I ordered online! If ever in the area, give them a try. Ambiance is family friendly.

Really impressed with this burger. Everything tasted fresh, well made, and satisfying without feeling heavy. Prices are fair, and it's a great option when you want something quick but still quality. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're in the area.

If you want a good smash burger, u come here. Everything is made to order. Soft buns, fresh juicy patties and grilled toppings. Good service too, more smiles than Shake Shack. PB&B burger is surprisingly good with the odd flavor combination. Fries is too salty too me, maybe no season fries for me next time.

I love Rolling Stoves! This is an awesome family run business that blossomed from a cool food truck to the brick and mortar spot in Farmington. These guys specialize in smash burgers, fries and shakes. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed, as usual. I ordered the PB&B burger, which has peanut butter, carmelized onions, bacon, cheese and the other usual toppings. Do not knock it until you try it. This burger is perfectly salty, sweet and crunchy. We got an order of their onion rings with Guernsey ranch (yummy). My wife got the smashed cheese burger. It is anything but your average fast food burger. Everything is fresh and satisfying. The staff here is always nice and service is fast. You can see the kitchen right in the open, so what you see is what you get. We will continue to support this awesome family business and enjoy these burgers.

I heard great things about Rolling Stoves, so the expectations were really high. The Peanut butter and bacon burger was a unique combo of flavors, similar to a burger I once had when visiting Minnesota. The caramelized onions were a nice touch and the burger patty had a nice crispy char. I'd love it if the meat patty were a little bigger and would probably pay the $2 to add a second patty next time. The onion rings were fire. I highly recommend them. They came with a creamy bbq sauce which was ok, but next time I would sub out that sauce for their normal ranch which is supposed to be made with Guernsey Farms Dairy buttermilk. Everything was well seasoned/salted. It was on the saltier side but tasted good. I'd compare the experience/quality as similar or slightly better than Five Guys. It wasn't expensive but it wasn't cheap, either. The interior of the resturant is small and has a casual vibe, great for a quick lunch. The person who took my order was polite and brought the order to my table when it was ready. Overall, Rolling Stoves is a solid choice when you are craving a smash burger.

We stopped by The Rolling Stoves after a visit to nearby Fishy Bizz as it came highly recommended, and we were excited to try it! We placed a to-go order and were told it would be ready in 10 minutes, but the wait ended up being over 45 minutes. Inside was crowded and a bit overwhelming. That said, the food was well worth the wait. We ordered a slider flight, Cajun fries, chicken tenders, and a shake. Every item hit the mark. My favorite was the Rodeo Burger, with a lovely onion ring adorning the patty. My partner loved the PB burger, noting the crispy pickle and smooth peanut butter being a heavenly duo. All of the sliders had perfectly crisp smash burger edges and bold flavor. The Cajun fries stood out with a zesty twist of lime. The tenders were juicy and well-seasoned, and the shake was rich and satisfying. If you're in the area and not in a rush, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared... it's popular for a reason!

What an absolute gem of a place; first of all, you will not find happier and more helpful folks in any restaurant. Second, the food is fantastic. They smash burgers and they do it so well. Each month there's a new burger of the month. They care about what they put on a plate in front of you. The place is also great, wide open and tons of seating; it's an awesome spot for food and to sit around with friends and family.

Try the PB&B for something new and do not skip out on the onion rings with a side of Guernsey ranch.

It was a quesadilla, beautifully crisped and not too spicy. The duck rillettes gave the sandwich a really rich taste. The Cubano was delicious too. Very melty and flavorful. Love the ham they used! The duck fat fries were yummy, super crisp and salty. One order was enough to share. I found the lime coleslaw to be a pleasant surprise. I'm not a big fan of coleslaw, but this was great.

I ordered the chorizo tortilla (basically a quesadilla), while my wife ordered General Tso's chicken sandwich. I'd get the chorizo again in a minute. The sausage, cooked a bit crispy, with the tender shredded duck made a great combination, perfectly complemented by goat cheese. I ordered the lime coleslaw on the side, expecting the strong citrus taste that similar items elsewhere usually have, and which is fine with me, but the lime in TOB's was very mild, blending well with the cream sauce that very lightly dressed the slaw. Good portion of that slaw too. My wife said her chicken sandwich tasted good, though the bottom bun was sopped with juice and stuck to the bottom of the plate. That was really the only off note of our meals. Looking forward to seeing them again and sampling more of the menu.

I'm gonna start with the egg rolls, they were by far the best part. Absolutely fantastic flavor and the #75 sauce made it even better. The chicken tenders were good; but the fries were not that great. Maybe piling the tenders on top made them soggy but we ate it within minutes of receiving it. The house ranch made them better. The Atwater chicken has a lot of potential, the garlic cilantro aioli needed some salt or something, you can taste it has good body just lacked punch. So the chicken sandwich was just ok. Service: Amazing, my brother made good recommendations and they were pretty quick about getting the order ready. Always appreciate a kind face that doesn't need to rush you as you ask questions. Ambiance: You can get expensive gas while you wait for your food. I'm sure it's an awesome spot when the weather is warm. It's definitely a spot to come back to. We enjoyed our meal.

Ordered 1 of each: Reuben, chicken and crab Rangoon. $21 Took a condiment of each available dressing: sweet chili, ranch, thousand. The Rueben was half empty, had to bite down to half of the roll before getting to any meat. The chicken roll was only about 2/3 full. The crag Rangoon was 2/3 full, mostly cheese, not much krab. The Rangoon was the better of the 3, mostly because it's cream cheese and you just can't beat cream cheese at all. The Reuben and the chicken were both okay. A lot more hype than I would have expected for what I experienced.

Walking into Detroit 75 Kitchen in Madison Heights for a quick lunch, my expectations were high!…read moreFrom a visual standpoint, the food looks simply irresistible on social. Before I even got to the food, the restaurant itself made a great first impression. The property is incredibly well maintained inside and out. There's a spacious outdoor patio for Michigan summer days, along with plenty of indoor seating ranging from communal tables for larger groups to individual booths if you're flying solo. It's a thoughtfully designed space that feels welcoming no matter why you're there. Now, let's talk about the food. I'll admit something that surprised me. I've been to Detroit probably 50 times, and I honestly can't remember ever hearing about a Detroit-style cheesesteak. Judging by the walls covered in awards and accolades, though, it's clearly something they're known for. The sandwich certainly sounds like a winner on paper: ribeye and sirloin, provolone and Swiss cheeses, roasted mushrooms and peppers, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickled jalapeños, aioli, house-made vinaigrette, all served on a freshly baked sesame roll. I mean... what's not to love? Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn. The ingredients themselves are good. The flavors are there. The problem is the execution. The ratios are simply off. The freshly baked roll completely dominates the sandwich, overwhelming everything inside it. The steak gets lost between all that bread, and instead of each bite showcasing the beef, cheese, and vegetables working together, the bread becomes the star--and that's not what you want from a cheesesteak. I do want to give credit where it's due. The portions are generous, and I especially appreciated that they take the time to make their own dipping sauces for the fries. Little details like that don't go unnoticed. There are plenty of positives here, and it's easy to see why Detroit 75 Kitchen has earned such a loyal following. But as someone who takes sandwiches seriously, I think this one is technically flawed. A great sandwich is all about balance, and for me, this one never found it. I genuinely wanted to love it. This sandwich lover just couldn't get behind the way it was built.

I've been to McLaren many times without noticing it: like most of the buildings along this stretch of 8 Mile Road, it has a boxy look that doesn't stand out. But, it was time for lunch, so I followed my coworkers across the street. I had just had a burger the day before, so I got the Cuban Panini instead. Sandwiches come with fries or tots, and can be upgraded to onion rings for $3. There were 10 of us, but we got our food quickly. I didn't actually count them, but it seemed like there were about 40 tater tots on my plate. And, they were perfectly crispy. As for the Cuban, I was intrigued by the addition of avocado. Unfortunately, it was swimming in mayo, which it definitely didn't need. Once the mayo was wiped away and mustard was added, it revealed a solid sandwich, though there wasn't as much pork as I'd want in a Cubano. Sandwiches start at $13, which is a great price for a massive sandwich with fries included. Considering the great service, this is a perfect lunch spot....now that I know it's here.
