1 star, if I could give zero i would. Worst McDonald's I have ever been to by far. It took 28 minutes for not that much food. The employees there seemed confused and didn't know what they were doing. When we finally got up to the window to get our food the employee kept asking us what we ordered, like what! Then when they finally gave us our food, it was wrong of course. I decided to try the food, horrid. the chicken was not crispy and did not seem cooked and the fries were soggy and cold. Like damn I was in the line for 28 minutes and they robbed me for 30 dollars. I can tell they're doing the best they can but... it isn't great. On our visit, our food took an abnormally long time to prepare for carryout, and half our drinks were wrong. (They don't have a self-service drink machine inside, so we couldn't just fix it ourselves.) I stood at the counter for a few minutes with no less than 4 employees making eye contact with me and then immediately turning away, until finally someone else's order came up and I could interrupt the employee long enough to fix the drink, and she stared at me like I had three heads when I told her it was Dr. Pepper and not the Fanta Orange we ordered. Not even the same color. Maybe we hit them at a bad time, but... This just wasn't a good experience at all. read more

Ordered $31 worth of food using the app while half an hour away. Arrived at the drive through and used the outer lane. Watched five orders taken from the inner lane, and decided to go in. After a long wait at the counter, staff told me I was supposed to use the drive through with app orders. I told them I had sat there and no one had helped me. They all seemed puzzled by this. While standing there, spoke with a number of other customers who shared my opinion that this was the worst McDonald's they had ever been to. Eventually my order arrived with a ridiculously insincere apology for the long wait. 28 minutes from my arrival at the drive through until I had my order. Terrible service. HQ needs to send some secret shoppers to this location for an evaluation. If it were not for the grandkids, I would never visit this location again. read more

It took them 15 minutes to get our order (2 burrito, 2 sausage muffins, 2 coffees), the sink water in the bathroom was freezing cold, every now and then there was a demon screech of metal on metal from the back, the employees were rude when we tried to get our order, people who came in after us were served before us, they were saying they were on hold for hash browns , then when we got our order the man gave us two hash browns, people were lined up in the lobby with wrong orders from the drive- through, and when we finally got our food most of it was stale. read more

I went to this restaurant on April 13 at 8 PM. There was a misunderstanding about apple pies and apple fritters. When I was finished giving my order there was no one at the first window so I went on to the second window. When I got there they told me I would have to back up and pay at the other window. The guy at that window that told me I had to back up in a downpour showed up in that window. I asked him why couldn't I have given you the money and the other window and you take it back and ring it up and bring me back my change. He gave the excuse that he could only take money at that window. What an ignoramus! I drove off without getting anything. That kid who waited on me needs a severe verbal reprimand! You can't have idiots like that running your restaurant without close supervision! The person that owns this McDonald's should look at new employees. read more

Went here on a Thursday evening. Came inside to order on kiosk because the line for the drive thru was long. We waited for a half hour!!! Then asked about our food and they said it had not been made yet. If we had not asked, we would have still been waiting. Waited a total of 45 minutes for nuggets, fries , and a cheeseburger. Would have went elsewhere but we already paid. Workers kept saying they won't give us any more workers so we are doing the best we can. It's not our fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Would give it a negative rating but it does not give that option. Then they bring the order out to dine in when it was ordered to go. Then proceeded to hand us a bag and said "sorry" and walked off. I'm really happy that we have a McDonald's so close to home, I just don't understand why Loogootee McDonald's hires people that wants to argue with you when you are plainly in the right. I went to the Loogootee McDonald's and tried to use my coupon that I did the survey for. It said on my receipt to complete the survey and get a free sandwich. Tried to get the free sandwich and the manager came and told me I couldn't get one unless I bought one. I ask why and she told me that it was because with the coupon I had, it required me to purchase one ...I said, does it say that somewhere on the receipt? She looked at it she said no but that's the way it works. I said I really don't understand that because that's not what it says. I even told her that I had spoke to somebody a couple weeks ago that was working there when I was there and received that coupon, I asked why the coupon had changed. But they told me they didn't know why it had changed but it says what it says. I called customer service and I haven't heard back from them but then I'm not surprised. The last time I called them they told me that they would give me free food even though I told them that is not what I wanted. I wanted them to know the experience I had. But they told me they would give me free food anyways, and wanted to. They said a coupon would be sent in the mail and it never was. So, lot of good that's probably gonna do. But the lady that was the manager continued to argue with me over whether or not I could use the coupon the proper way or not. My 87 yr old mother finally said just buy a sandwich and let's leave. I think the manager must of had a bee in her bonnet today.Maybe Dairy Queen will be my new favorite fast food place in Loogootee. I also asked them to drop down the chicken nuggets I ordered so they would be fresh because I got sick on some I ate at McDonald's in Linton, Indiana last week. I told them I was willing to wait. She said they just brought some fresh ones out of the fryer. But when I got them from the window, they weren't very warm at all. So far I have not gotten sick though. So unwilling to provide real service. Their food is not that good in the prices of doubled. home is looking pretty good. read more

The customer service is very good. However every time I go there they had me pull forward and wait after going through the drive-through. And when I asked why they said it's because they are on timers so clearly they can't meet the time and you have to pull forward and wait. I hate waiting at a drive-through however food is what I expect at McDonald's and fries are always amazing. I took away one star just because I have to wait every single time if I go through the drive-through. read more

Usually avoid, last time there had to wait 25 minutes for a Bigmac. The one in Loogootee is the pits.

I came through this McDonald's tonight and I'm typing this at one of their waiting parking spots. There's no drive thru line, and yet every single one of their pull forward spots are full of waiting cars. I only ordered a 6 pc, coke and small fry, like really? Not to mention, the coke was upcharged to $1.29, the 6 pc was 3.19, and the small fry was $2.09. Google says 6pc nuggets are supposed to be $2.79 before tax, so not sure what happened there. And also the cokes are supposed to be $1? ON TOP OF the 6pc and small fry are supposed to be a $3 bundle at the moment, at least they are at every other McDonald's. After spending $7 on a meal that's usually $3.24 at every other location, and typing this ENTIRE REVIEW while sitting in the waiting parking zone, I can confidently say GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's not fast, and it's not cheap, somehow. To make a point, I'm going to sit and here and type until my food comes. Blah Blah Blah. Wish I waited until I got to Jasper. I went through the drive thru line to get a large drink and a bag of ice. I was given my drink and was told to pull forward and someone would bring out the ice to me. Ok. So I pull up and wait...and wait...and wait. After 7 minutes, yes 7 minutes, I call them on my phone and ask, "Where is my ice?" The employee replies that "She knew someone ordered ice, but didn't know who it was." I told her that I was still waiting and she said someone would bring it out to me. So 2 more minutes go by and an employee appears with one bag of ice! You're telling me it takes 9 minutes to get a bag of ice?! read more

We stopped at this McDonald's while on a trip. They were extremely busy so we had to wait about 6 minutes for our food. Not bad for how busy they were. Wow! The burgers and fries were cooked perfectly and not overloaded with salt!!! We did not regret stopping at this location. The eating area was spotless. The restrooms needed to be tidied up. The addition of a garbage can under the sink or by the door was needed so people didn't throw their garbage on the floor. read more

I live over an hour from this McDonald's and I stopped on my way home from the casino. I ordered the Southwest salad and asked for the crispy chicken to be in its own pack so it would not wilt the lettuce. Imagine my disappointment when I finally got home and found out I had no chicken. read more
