In my 50+ years, this was the worst McDonald's I have been to. I ordered 4 sandwiches and an iced tea from the kiosk. When I got my food, I went to the car and each and every sandwich was wrong. Some had lettuce when I said no lettuce, cheese when no cheese, a type of sandwich that was never ordered...seriously every one was wrong. I took the bag back and laid every sandwich on the counter, asking if they even read the order. The cooks either don't care or don't understand. They also forgot the iced tea to top it off. While traveling I-10 from Mississippi back home to Jacksonville, FL, hubby and I were both craving soft serve ice cream. No sooner than we both said we wanted ice cream, an exit appeared with a McDonald's sign. Ok... that'll do. This McDonald's is connected to a gas station; however, I can't for the life of me remember which gas station because we only went into the McDonald's. It's located just off the interstate and it's easy as pie to hop off the interstate and then right back on again. There's not much traffic on this road at all. The McDonald's looks practically brand new. I'm thinking it hasn't been here for very long. Very clean and modern with friendly employees. If you need to use the restroom while traveling, this is a good place to stop. The restrooms are really clean. Hubby said even the men's restroom was one of the cleanest he's seen at any McDonald's. The cashier who took our order was really friendly and was smiling. We only ordered the two ice cream cones and then we were on our way. I can't really say all that much about the ice cream other than it was soft serve ice cream. It was good, inexpensive, and was nice and cold on a very hot Florida afternoon. read more

Stopped with our camper for lunch on 3/29 at around noon,obviously couldn't fit through the drive thru with our camper, attempted to enter but doors and gate were locked so decided to walk through drive thru and the cashier stared at us blankly as we tried to place our order, then enters who I believe was a manager and started yelling at us that we can't walk through drive thru and to enter through the gate, the gate was closed and locked ... how the heck does she expect us to get through .... nasty and rude! Nothing wrong with this place. Although I'm not a big fan of Scottish food, this McDonald's is close to the interstate, and connected to a gas station and convenience store. Service was fast and the bathroom was clean. Even better, it had paper towels instead of the ubiquitous air blower. Win-win! read more

Beware. Do yourself a favor and no matter how hungry you are stay away from this place. First indication was disgusting bathrooms. This is a very nice, clean and newer McDonald's....there's easy access to this location since it's just off of the Interstate...The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly. If you're in need of a restroom while traveling don't hesitate to stop here...The restrooms here are some of the cleanest I've ever seen at a McDonald's. read more

Really clean and modernized Mcdonalds. The food was really good and fresh. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin and a hash brown, and my friend ordered a big breakfast. The staff members were decent. Like they were nice and polite. Just didn't see them smile much. But oh well. read more

Let me start with people don't go to McDonald's expecting Chick-fil-A service. But when we first got to speaker we asked for strawberry cream pies. They said they were out of those. So we requested Apple pies. They said they have 2 left. Take in mind it's noon so that means no more for rest of day. ?? Then we get to window to be told they just sold the last two pies to someone else. (How does that happen when we ordered first) . Then we look at receipt and was charged for items we didn't order. They corrected it and refunded minus the sales tax. Then we just waited. From time at speaker. box to receiving our food we was in line little shy of 50 minutes. So if anyone else like us looking for quick meal off highway I'd say take chances across the street at Wendy's. Or even waffle House may be faster. read more

Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. This was the last strike with this place. Complete menu was not up in the drive thru, poor customer service and my order was incorrect. Do not give your business to this McDonalds, go across the street to Wendy's. In general I like McDonalds food better than Wendy's but the customer service, time it took to get food and experience is so bad here that it's not worth it. My final order was 3/28/15 at 7:40pm. I made it simple by ordering a crispy chicken sandwich meal with a coke and an Oreo mcflurry at the drive thru intercom. This is the third time they seemed short staffed, although there were very few customers in the restaurant and my car was one of two in the drive thru. The young lady at the first window was somewhat nice which was a polar opposite to her mcflurry counterpart at the second window. This heavy set, leather bag with a wig crookedly placed atop her head handed me my mcflurry before I got the rest of my order without even as much as looking at me. The Oreos were piled on top of the ice cream and not mixed in and were spilling out everywhere and before I could let her know, the sliding glass window was slammed and she waddled elsewhere. Jokes on her, it was still delicious later and in fact, the only redeeming part of the meal. My food: there was a six minute wait on fries, which was weird because when I got the fries they were salty and barely lukewarm. I am 10 minutes from home so naturally I wait to eat my entire meal when I got back. I open the box to what should be my crispy chicken club sandwich hoping to get my fix but wouldn't you know it, I had received a bacon clubhouse burger which is something I would never order even if suffering malnourishment from a recent trip to the Sahara. The burgers from all McDonalds are flat, spongey and taste a little like metal. No one should ever order one on purpose. That's why I ordered a chicken sandwich, for they are generally consistent in their greasy deliciousness. Go to Wendy's, DQ, Subway, or, hell, go and buy a dandee sandwich from the minute market across the street and you'll have a much better meal and interact with less obnoxious staff. I can't believe this place is a McDonalds. I love McDonalds but I'm only giving this place 2 stars. I went to this McDonalds in Madison, FL for the 1st (and last) time on 4/19/2015. They were so sloooooow. Yes, they were switching from breakfast to lunch but they were so sloooooow. I half expected that we were on some sort of funny video show. I had a Big Mac, drink and fries. Since the fries were served hot I gave them that 2nd star. The interior was pleasant but did I mention that they were so sloooooow! Plus, I took photos. read more

I would give 0 if i could! Rude, rude, rude, didn't give us a receipt at the first window then the second window they left off our medium fry and medium drink. Told us they gave us all our food. Tried to go in and speak to a manager, but all the doors were rocked went to the drive thru window again they told us we has to get in line and order again! Really wish I could give them no stars at all. Just passing through town we went through the drive thru and ordered our food. They made no attempt to be polite in the slightest. Picked up our food and drove to the front of the building to get gas (this McDonald's is conveniently co located to a gas station) then we realized our order was way wrong. I went inside and stood in the short line to have my order corrected and witnessed a cashier give incorrect change to a man twice. It was now my turn and a manager was running a register. I stated that my order was wrong and needed another burger... The manager looked at my receipt and said "No your order is right" I had to literally take the food out of the bag and show her it was not correct and with an attitude she finally corrected my order. In this day in age this kind of poor customer service should not be tolerated. I will starve before I go back to this McDonald's. These rude people with terrible service seriously was $15 an hour?!?!?!?!? That is laughable. read more

I'm not one to be picky about fast food restaurants but I had the worst experience at this McDonalds. I walked in and saw that it was a pretty nice McDonalds so I was surprised that the service was so bad. They messed up my order, and my friends order. They put bacon instead of sausage on my biscuit and gave my friend a McGriddle instead of a McMuffin, which isn't a huge deal I can just go ask for a new one because there's no one else in the restaurant and they aren't busy, but when I asked for a new one, they weren't very eager to help me out and seemed slightly annoyed by my request which wasn't even a crazy request. I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because it is very nice and clean for a McDonalds. read more

Do not come to this place on a Saturday. I live in this town and this place, without proper management is deplorable. Two consecutive Saturdays in a row sat in the drive through four almost half an hour. They weren't even busy, either time. They treat you as if you're a nonexistent entity. Very, very frustrating. We pulled up for gas and the card reader at the machines don't work. Went to order McDonald's and asked for fresh fries for three meals I ordered and in plain site was given cold fries that had been sitting up n boxed for the 10mins I've been standing at the counter. Asked the young lady at the counter if these were fresh and with an attitude she said yes(lie). I politely left out and sent my husband in with the receipt and my fries in hopes he'd have better luck(nope)! They gave him fresh hard overcooked under salted fries.
