While I waited for my order I had a chance to look over the cafe, which was simply decorated: blue carpet and oak paneling. There were some delicious looking cupcakes in the bakery case. My salad consisted of bagged mixed greens and a good portion of mandarin oranges, slivered almonds and dried cranberries. It came with a warm seasoned roll and poppyseed dressing. The iced tea tasted like coffee, as I'm guessing it was brewed on the same equipment used to make coffee. In addition to baked goods, coffees, teas and sandwiches, they also offered wraps and soups.

I decided to try multiple things, so I got steak & eggs, eggs benedict, and corned beef hash. With coffee my total was still under $15. The steak was by far the best thing I tried. I asked for it pink, and it came closer to well done, but it was so tender and well flavored that I didnt mind. The eggs benedict was also very good, the sauce homemade and the ham thick cut. The corned beef has was my least favorite, it was comparably dry. One of the owners was the only employee working outside the kitchen and she was very friendly. I dont know why I would ever go back to Merrill, WI, but if I do, and it is before 2pm, I will stop back.
