So every other Thursday, I go to this McDonald's, my favorite, and they always make my food, hot and fresh and they are always friendly. It's always the same people working as well. I guess that is what makes a consistent product. My go to is a Big Mac, no pickles, fries and a Diet Coke. Was trying to get two McChicken's and a large fry after work tonight. And the employees simply couldn't be bothered to take my order for at least 20 minutes. Then finally someone muttered over the intercom what they could get for me, I ordered, and the woman was rude to me over the intercom. Finally I was ordered. Thought it wouldn't be more than 5 minutes till I got my food, and paid. Nope! I sat in line for another 20 minutes waiting to even pay. So I left, many other customers were leaving. I really can't say I am surprised. I have on multiple occasions had this same exact thing happen at this location. But I will definitely never be returning, they simply have had too many chances. Ahhhh, my local neighborhood McDonalds. I think we're destined to do this dance forever. This time I got there around 4:00 a.m. or so. Decent drive through line but we risked it anyway. Gave my order quickly enough, burger & fries. Then we waited in line for no exaggeration about 25 minutes. 2 guys in line pulled out completely. The guy ahead of us in an Uber (cant imagine how high that bill racked up) was clearly not happy with whatever the man in the window was telling him, always a good sign. That car pulled up and to the side. It was our turn. What did the staff tell us after 25 minutes? They were now only serving breakfast. Did you know that Mcdonalds has to kill a million cows a year to feed their customers and to serve 75 burgers per second worldwide? Not only do they kill a million cows a year for meat, but they also have very high priced for, that isn't very high end what-so-ever. The cleanliness of the restaurant is horrible with the gross bathrooms and the dirty tables. The restaurant is bad enough by itself, but the service of the employees takes it to a whole other level with the poor language and the hatred of their job. Mcdonald's is the worst restaurant ever because of their expensive and not high end food, the cleanliness of the restaurant and their lack of good service. The food at Mcdonalds is not healthy, but the food is very expensive. A ten piece Mcnugget, a small fri, and a drink comes to the total of $9.12, which is an insanely expensive meal for a fast food restaurant. When you receive your food, you are amazed by how it is presented, with fries out of the bag, not as many nuggets as you expected, and you already lost your appetite before you have taken a bite. When you do take a bite, you are baffled how the meat tastes. It may taste good, but it definitely does not taste like chicken. Another reason this eating experience is so terrible, is the service of the restaurant. The service at this restaurant is horrendous. The workers dislike their job and many of the customers can see that so this is a very bad quality to have. When somebody goes through the drive through the person who is taking their order should be very kind and patient with this person. When you drive through, you feel rushed and not at home. A restaurant should have employees that you can trust, have their heart into their work, and do all of this with a smile, that Mcdonalds does not show. When you go to a restaurant, you would want to see high-end food options, great service, and last but not least, a clean restaurant! Cleanliness is a quality that everyone and everything should own, but not Mcdonalds. This restaurant is disgusting, with food leftover on plenty of tables, measly spills that should be cleaned up, and crumbs and dirt spread all over the floors. No person should be eating at such a dump. The employees should take charge themselves and clean these restaurants to receive a better reputation and maybe more customers will show up gradually if this occurs. You've got two fast food choices late at night around here, the nearby Gyro Palace is your better choice. There's often a long line here for the drive through, especially after Summerfest lets out and at bar closing time. I understand you've got some post-drinking hunger to take care of fast but you should know you'll be eating sooner if you make it to I-94 and drive at the speed limit to the fast food choices at the Ryan exit exchange in Oak Creek before the drive through line moves two cars here. Every now and then I make the mistake of coming back here because I live nearby and actually like McDonald's coffee. The last time I made the mistake, and this does seem to be a good time to mention that there is no evidence that it was Einstein who said "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," but it's not generally like me to be this foolish, though I am known for a tendency to run on sentences, was (here's the clause to connect to the beginning of this sentence) just before 9pm (when all the area coffee shops close up) and I needed some wifi to get a little work done. Whew. McDonalds usually has good WiFi, and good coffee. I waited five minutes for someone to take my order. Not that I should be eating food from here, ever, but I felt if I sit and use their free WiFi I should be a customer. You're probably picturing me waiting in line for 5 minutes thinking that's not terribly bad for fast food, but there was no one else in line. The workers weren't just standing around, they did seem terribly busy not asking me if they could help me. I gave up, sat down and got an hours worth of work done (my table was sort of clean and the WifFi was fast so that's why two stars not one), and no one bothered me the whole time. I guess I should thank them for not letting me order their lifespan shortening food. It was a little hard getting my work done, however, because the workers are very loud using lots of "colorful metaphors" as Spock described 20th century American English when the Enterprise crew visited Earth in 1986. Loud as in I heard them all to clearly from the kitchen area where I was sitting way up front by the windows and like maybe the dialogue from "Orange is the New Black." Yup, sitting in this McDonald's is more than a little like being in a prison, I was thinking maybe I should find the meanest toughest worker and take him (or her) out in the prison recreation yard, but there isn't one, just a parking lot full of drunk people. I'm not going to tell you not to come here, there's going to be a time you make the same mistakes I've made because of the location so close to so many bars, but this is one of those places you're best off coming with friends who can watch your back and help you passing time as you wait to be served poorly. read more

It has happened multiple times in which I try to bike down to McDonalds to get some food after work and I am not allowed to order without a car to go through the drive through. As a store that stays open late, it is truly unfair to only allow those with the privilege of a car to eat and let those on a bike go hungry... especially in this cold Milwaukee winter. Family unfriendly. I've been in hundreds, if not thousands, of McDonald's throughout the United States and have never encountered one this family unfriendly. We took our two grandchildren there for dinner and since they are, of course, the most adorable grandchildren in the entire world, I was taking pictures of them - and a McDonald's staffer walked up and told me that there is no picture taking at this McDonald's. Duh! The person explained it is the policy of the owner. There is no notice of this policy. Now here's the rub: this McDonald's which we found via GPS on our way home is something of a dump compared to other McD outlets. It is older and worn. But the clientele is the rub.While we were there, there were at least three homeless people in residence. Also, there was a loud group of burly teens standing around talking with the counter help. Ray Kroc, who didn't want his restaurants to be teen hangouts, is probably turning over in his grave. There were also a number of teens there, all of whom were apparently equipped with cell phones, most of which today are camera equipped. So tell me that every teen or anybody else who snaps a picture in this prison-like McDonald's is chastised. I doubt it. Needless to say, we won't be coming back here. read more

I come to this location before or during work. I ordered my meal on the McDonald's app and clicked pick up in drive thru. The only way a receipt can come out the machine is if the employee click the button it doesn't come out automatically. This particular day I was in the drive thru and I received an email like thanks for picking up your order I hadn't event told them I was present so when I get to the window I'm telling them I have a order I just got my receipt sent to my email already some how. And they are like we don't see it. I'm like because somebody already sent it through. I'm showing them my email, what the app say and my online bank statement that money was taking out at that exact time. The manager kept asking me to show a code that usually pops up when your order hasn't been ran through. Which I couldn't give because someone had already ran my order through. They didn't want to give me my food. Or give me a refund. I sat in that driveway trying to get the situation done for 20 mins. Eventually manager found the receipt for my mobile order someone. The little boy at the drive thru window was very disrespectful and unprofessional he should be fired!! read more
