The fries and slaw were good, the filets were okay. They seemed like they were prepackaged though? The shape and texture did not match up with the house made fries and slaw. It was okay but nothing special. The Mac n Cheese was good, creamy rich gouda on warm shell macaroni. It's not really a truck stop, but it is part of a convenience store at a Phillips 66 gas station. The only options for burgers in Waterloo near where we are, are either fast food or Denny's, Applebees, etc. It's a bit of a drive down Rte 3 to Red Bud, but if you want a very good burger at a reasonable price it's worth making the trip.
